The villa is awesome.Modern and immaculate, with every amenity, it's set in very quiet surroundings with a 1 minute walk to the sea. It's every bit as good as it looks in the photos.The thick stone walls keep it at at a very comfortable stable temperature, regardless of what's going on outside. (Take a note UK house builders, with your breeze blocks and cavity walls etc).2 restaurants within walking distance, a third one less than five minutes drive away, it's a great place to base yourself.The weather was unfortunately not what we expected, (worst storm within living memory apparently) but no-one can help that and the villa was a tremendous place to return to each day from exploring. Whilst you can get local taxis, we were so grateful we had a hire car, especially with the weather, so we were able to visit some very interesting and beautiful local towns.Ria was a fantastic host, from the very first contact right through to our departure.She is very friendly and helpful and even arrived during our stay to drop off some delicious desserts from the local cake shop.We would thoroughly recommend Ria and Villa Posidonia and would not hesitate to return.
