Really nice stay.

Loved the property. It was in a great location and easy to get to. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Communication with the property manager was excellent and she was quite helpful with the minor issues we had. I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay from day 1 to 11. This was by far the best home we have stayed in since i started renting homes in Florida. I have visited and stayed in rental homes about 15 times. Thanks for the great service.

Good place to stay

Overall, the property was what we needed, It could do with some TLC. Some of the mattresses were hard to sleep on, it needed a good deep clean, the pool needed some minor maintenance. None of these issues prevented us from having a wonderful trip.

Disney and Universal holiday

The house was very roomy. We stayed with 11 of us and there was lots of space. The only things to mention were the patio door to the pool was a pain to open and close. And it could have been a little cleaner, but it definitely met all our needs.

I want to go back already!

This house was amazing. So comfortable and clean and SO much space that you aren’t on top of each other. The pool was heated and ready to go upon arrival. Titan was amazing to work With and Misti was great and quick with any communication. We do a family trip to Orlando every year and this has been my favorite house thus far! Thank you!

Friends and family trip

We were able to go ahead and check in ( about 2hrs early)when i called to ask about it and about our mobility scooter being delivered. The place was as advertised on vrbo and had plenty of space for everyone, 4 adults and 4 kids ages 2-16. The younger kids loved the pool even without us having it heated. Lol

House overall was okay, needs updated

The last two days we were there, we came back after going out for the day and it 82 degrees in the house which was very uncomfortable after being in the heat all day and it took a long time for it to cool down so sleeping was miserable because it was so hot. Will definitely not book at this house again

Hi Michael, I'm very sorry you had an issue with the air conditioning while you were there. I wish you would have let us know there was an issue right away instead of waiting until after you checked out. We could have had a repairman there within a couple of hours if we would have know and it would have saved you an uncomfortable couple of days.

Highgate 2024

Our stay was very enjoyable. The house accommodated my family and friends nicely. I have rented this home for 2025. The pool and spa were great and the location is perfect for us. However there are a few things that could be improved. Such as the mattress in the master bedroom and the carpet upstairs has seen better days. Kitchen utensils were adequate except for sharp knives. We had to purchase a new set for our dinners. The ottoman was dirty and the interior could use a fresh coat of paint. The sliding door to the pool was very hard to open. The garage was listed as a game room but the pool table was not usable.

Family Holiday Vacation over Thanksgiving

Overall, the home was mostly as described on the listing. There was minimal lighting in the kitchen area (we prepared Thanksgiving dinner using flashlights on our phones to see because the overhead lighting was so dim) and living room area and the house could use a deep clean. We did speak with property management about the kitchen lighting and the spa, which was broken for two days of our stay. They addressed our calls immediately and sent maintenance out as soon as possible. The spa was fixed, and the lighting was replaced in the kitchen but didn't improve so it must be an issue with the fixture itself. The washing machine was very moldly and dirty. The sliding glass door to the back patio was broken as well and very difficult to open and close. All that said, overall, we did enjoy our stay but would likely not stay at this home again.

Very Disappointed

I am not a picky person but this has been my worst experience with a rental home. This home has a lot of potential since it’s such a large home but did not feel cozy at all. There was always someone lingering around the home or in the pool area with no notice which made us feel we were being watched 24/7 and unsafe since the sliding door doesn’t lock correctly. Not fun waking up to a man in the back yard unexpectedly. The sheets smelled dirty and old even though the house keeper came and changed them. Barely any utensils, refrigerator leaking water, house has a heavy cigarette smell yet has no smoking signs everywhere and the garage has mold and a heavy leak. Washer was disguising so we didn’t get to use it and hot water lasts no more than 10 minutes. I am so disappointed since this was our first time in Florida and visiting the theme parks. We did use the pool for a day and that was fine. Again home has a lot of potential but they need to put some money into it to make it a decent stay. Oh also you are only allowed 2 vehicles which is hard when you can sleep 15 or 16 people

We take all guest feedback seriously, as we want every guest to have an enjoyable and comfortable experience. Regarding the issues you mentioned, we want to clarify a few points. The sliding door issue you noted was looked at the day you reported it and was properly secured. We also want to assure you that there is no one assigned to linger around the property; however, the pool company does come to clean the pool once a week and the community lawn service visits weekly as well. We regret that the sheets did not meet your expectations on arrival. Our housekeeping team remade the beds with brand new sheets the same day you reported the issue. Regarding the refrigerator and washer, we will have maintenance inspect and resolve these issues right away. We also want to clarify that the listing does state a maximum capacity of 12 guests, which is in line with our house rules. Additionally, the parking limit of 2 vehicles is mentioned in the listing, as street parking is not allowed in the area for safety reasons. The unit was painted just days before your arrival so perhaps what you thought was a smoke smell was from the new paint. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we will take your comments into account to ensure future guests have a better stay.

Whenever I rent a place I always check for damage and there was alot Safety fence was ripped in several places, screen window in room was ripped, chair on balcony had a ripped seat so we couldnt use it Small holes behind the bedroom doors from door knobs Air conditioner filter looked like it hadnt been changed for months Curtian rod in living room was broken in the middle which left 2 holes in wall from the bolts It needs alot of maintenance work Housekeeping needs to do a better job the fan in the living room had so much dust on it I thought it would fly off when it was turned on The shower in master bath needs a good cleaning( under door on inside is disgusting and there was black spots all in the corners The 2 twin bedroom had no ceiling fan we did find a fan in a closet but it had some brown stuff on it(truthfully it was either chocolate or crap and I mean human crap) Son step on a piece of glass when he went into the game room(floor was not swept) I ordered spa heat and there was none when we got there Maintenance did come out next day to replace air filter clean the fan and fix the hot tub heat(he said the circiut breaker had been tripped) I specifically asked him if the hot tub would work morning(5am) and night 8 or 9 at night and he said yes When we went to use it after a long day at the parks (6pm) there again was no heat Texted and said if it kept tripping maybe they should fix it Was told that the pool pump heated up the tub and that only ran 8 hours a day so they turned off the heat and refunded by money I told them I didnt want a refund wanted what I paid for and was told to not contact again and if I needed anything else addres it through VRBO I did contact them and they turned the heat on for our last day Sat(our chill day) and the hot tub worked morning noon and night without any prolems Aside from all that we had a good time with our vacation and will of course use VRBO agian(I guess i was expecting the same type of cleanliness and professionalism as when I rented a place in NH) I will however let my family and friends know not to rent this place I have sent them the property ID number( i have a few friends looking to rent in FL) I love VRBO its a great way to find houses to rent and my family and friends use it all the time Thank you

Hi Roberta, Thank you for your feedback. This house has been fully booked all summer and was due for a deep clean. Now that we have had a gap in the calendar the deep clean has been completed as well as carpet cleaning and maintenance issues have been addressed, thanks again.

This homes is not clean

This home is NOT as it seems, Me and my family had stated at this home for 15 days and if it wasn't for the holiday would of left upon arrival. We had no other place to go because it was 2 days before X-mas and every place was booked even vrbo tried to see about another placement but to no avail nothing available. There is a bug infestation of ants and roaches, along with not being very clean, mold by the sliding doors and vents very dirty. We had to buy our own cleaning supplies to deep clean along with clean the pool and by it. There was mold right by the pool that we had to clean also. We did get ahold of the person and let her know what was going on along with our concerns along with pictures of everything. She did send pest control and have maintenance come out but when it came to the pool she said they wouldn't be out until the following Wednesday because we arrived on a Wednesday. Pest came out but did not get rid of the bugs, they are everywhere kitchen, bathrooms, balcony, and bedrooms. Friday some unknown person came thru the back gate unannounced unlike the maintenance and pest control who knocked on the front door. My kids were in the pool and ran in screaming because they were scared, the person just said they were a property mgt but never gave a name. She then goes on to say that she was here because the neighbors called her because we were smoking in the home. I asked her if she wanted to come in because no one in the home smokes and she replied no very nasty. She then says your pool ain't even dirty, my brother says ma'am yes it was we cleaned it but there are some places we couldn't get come here so I can show you. She replied I wasn't talking to you and all of you can go back in the home. I then told her she was being very rude for no apparent reason and asked her name and she wouldn't give it to me. We then asked her to leave and she just stood there, we then proceeded to go into the home and she finally left. I came in and called vrbo right away so they can know of what is going on. About a hour later I got a msg from the real property mgt basically siding with the women and said we were threatening her never even got our side of the story. If we had threatened the lady they would of kicked us out and called the police. We never received a acknowledgment about the women coming in unannounced or the way she treated me and my family, not even a sorry. The beds are so uncomfortable also, I would NOT recommend anyone staying here.

This home consistently receives 4 and 5 star reviews including a good review from the guest that stayed in the home only a few days after you departed. I believe the real reason for your 1 star review is because when one of our staff arrived at the home to service the pool they found you to be in violation of several rules. You had young children swimming in the pool unattended so she asked them to get an adult. When the sliding door was opened she could smell that you had been smoking in the home and that you also had way more people staying in the home than the 12 you listed on your booking. When she informed you that these were all violations of our rules, your very large group of guests all started shouting at her and one even told her she was lucky she didn't get shot, so understandably she wasn't keen on sticking around or giving her name. We were advised by VRBO to evict you but it was 2 days before Christmas and you had several children with you, so as a company we decided it wouldn't be the right thing to do. You had a bad review on your previous stay with another VRBO host so in hindsight we should have followed our instincts and not accepted your booking in the first place.

The location is great. The host was very helpful and timely in their response. The location is one of the main reasons I rent there. As for comfort the beds are in need of replacement at least all of the queens and king mattress’s. The upstairs carpeting is very dated and should be replaced also, we did find mold in the master shower and one of the bath downstairs we had to clean. The sliding doors from the living room to the pool still do not lock. When I stay for two months and have a number of guests we accumulate quite a bit of garbage at the end of the stay 2 containers don’t usually handle our waist.

Estadía tranquila

A pesar de que no utilizamos la casa más que para dormir y preparar desayuno, el lugar es tranquilo y la casa bastante limpia, a excepción de la lavadora que tenía bastante mal olor y moho, pero la casa cuenta con lo necesario para estar cómodo, encontramos varias cosas dañadas que fueron reportadas y el administrador respondía y solucionaba sumamente rápido y muy amable.

Big house with everything you need.

Everything was great. My family and I came in for a quick Disney trip to celebrate birthdays. Misti was the best, her communication was quick! We left my daughters toy, and Misti was great with sending it back for us.

Sibling Vacation

Our parents sent me and my younger siblings out of town to take the youngest to Universal. The house had plenty of bedroom space so we could have some quite time when needed. The kitchen was gulls stocked and the pool was great. There were some issues with the cleanliness of the house, but we wiped up and settled in. Overall our stay was good.

We had a great time staying at the house. Nice and close to Disney and wasn’t a bad commute to Clearwater Beach either.
