This was our second trip to Lucca. We absolutely love this location, especially the views of the hills and the old buildings in Lucca. The windows were incredible and we enjoyed having coffee in the morning and wine at night. We were able to see many beautiful sunsets. The house had everything we needed. We would love to stay there again.

A fabulous apartment in a great location

We have stayed in Lucca every year and this years stay with Lucca Villas was amazing. The apartment is in a quiet part of Lucca close to the train station for those traveling with luggage. The 2 living areas, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom are exactly as pictured - we stayed 10 days. We felt like we were home!!! Christina is a gem and the team professional- no detail left untouched!!

Comfortable and Scenic

SO much gratitude for two things we Americans take for granted -- An Elevator and Air Conditioning! This lovely apartment was a haven in the heat wave. We could reach the top floor with its lovely views of the mountains via an elevator and spend time and sleep well in the coolness provided by AC.

Perfect place to stay in Lucca

This apartment is absolutely beautiful and located in a very convenient part of Lucca. We were able to walk anywhere in the city we wanted to visit. The managers we communicated with were very responsive and helpful. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed for a visit. I can’t say enough about how much we loved our time in the penthouse in Lucca. We were sad to leave what became our home away from home.

Nice apartment in a great location. Walkable distance from the bus and train station. Perfect base for moving around Lucca and venturing towards other Tuscan cities.

This is lovely apartment in a great location. Close to the bus station and close to lovely restaurants and shops. The entrance to the walls is just 2 mins. away. Stella is very helpful and responds quickly to any questions that may arise.

The apartment is in the old city, great location. It is truly amazing! Three floors with the bedroom on the first floor, livingroom on the second, and the eat in kitchen and laundry on the third floor. Many windows throughout the apartment with great views. I recommend parking outside the wall in a parking lot. It isn't a far walk and less expensive. We will be back!

Beautiful views, classic style

Ten day stay. Property located inside the wall; an easy walk to the train station. Parking in Cittadella parcheggio is about 3 city blocks from the front door. The building has an elevator that takes you to the fourth floor unit. When you enter, the unit has this classic appearance with a grand mural on the wall to your left, and an arched wooden/glass door into one of the two parlor rooms. This room also has a pull out sofa (great soft comfortable bed). To get to the master bedroom and bath, you walked through this parlor. The bedroom was oversized by European standards, with a comfy chair for TV viewing (the only TV is in the bedroom). To get to the other parlor/dining room, you needed to walk up a flight of stairs (I think 12 steps). This is the room with the windows on three sides, and great views of the city and the mountains beyond. Another six steps takes you up to the kitchen. The appliances need a little help (there is duct tape on one of the refrigerator shelves to hold it on; lighting the stove takes a bit of practice; and no toaster; coffee machine operates at the speed of dark). They do have a Moka - a way to make coffee on the stove one cup at a time, but on a stove that is hard to light. Notwithstanding, we absolutely loved the place and would gladly stay again. (Note: if the A/C stops cooling due to a city brown out, check for a red light on the AERMEC box in the utility room-try turning off switch under green light, 10 seconds later turn on).
