Spacious accommodation

Spacious, well thought out accommodation on one level with beautiful grounds to relax in . Well equipped with air conditioning available if needed. Small kitchen area which was great for eating in . Car useful when staying at this property . We have visited Lucca several times now and would recommend.

I would highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful place to stay. Lovely to be able to use the garden and pool which were immaculate. The wee villa was perfect with great facilities,and we were so comfortable for our stay. It was great to have the use of the bikes, to get in and out of Lucca (bikes could do with a service). Sorry our Italian was non-existent!!

Highly Recommended for couples

Wonderful space to say the least. The huge spacious garden and pool were just a cherry on top of the cake! Bikes were also available at the property for the use of the guests, which really makes reaching the city a great mini morning/ afternoon exercise, and allow you to put away the car keys for the whole stay. We had a lovely interaction with the hosts, who were extremely welcoming and warm. Highly recommended for couples, who are looking for a quiet retreat, yet in close proximity to the city centre.

Quite and nice Place!

This place is a quiet little apartment in a converted garage next to a large house on a beautiful estate with manicured gardens and - the highlight - a pool. We spent our (summer) stay swimming and lounging by the pool while looking out onto the picturesque mountains. We also went into Lucca - a short bike ride of about 10-15 mins on the two bikes provided. If that's the kind of holiday you're after, this place is fabulous! Check-in and communication were very smooth, and the place itself has all the basics and was comfortable and clean.

A perfect spot with a pool

Great flat with access to the owners swimming pool (although we always had it to ourselves). It’s a 30min walk10min bike ride from the Lucca city walls. The pool and grounds of the house are beautiful! The flat itself is quite cool which I think would be perfect in the summer months but because it was October, the heating wasn’t on and cold mornings and night did make it a bit cold at times and our towels didn’t dry. Overall all, perfect spot with a pool and close to Lucca!

A little oasis

This place is a little oasis in the beautiful town of Lucca with wonderful welcoming hosts. The appartement has everything you need and we could have two bicycles with them it is not even a 10 minutes drive to the odl-town center of Lucca. The pool is in the middle of a beautiful garden, really fantastic and the perfect refreshment for a hot summer-day. Thank you very much for having us! Little tip: make sure you have a mosquito-repellent with you, at least at this time of the year there are a lot.

Super location nearby Lucca Center , with pool and very nice garden

We stayed here for two weeks with our 6-month-old son to explore the Tuscan area. It’s a great location with your own stone house, equipped with everything you need and a beautiful little garden :) There’s also a nice swimming pool. The house has one bedroom and is also suitable for a baby bed. The house is located on a main road where cars sometimes pass by quite fast and early in the morning. However, there is plenty of parking space along the street. I proprietari sono persone davvero adorabili e gentili – ci hanno fatto sentire molto benvenuti. Maybe a coat rack by the entrance for hanging jackets and bags, and if it's possible to park the car right in front of the house, which helps calm the traffic a bit. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time here – highly recommended!

We had a very nice stay in Lucca. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and the garden and pool area is really beautiful. The apartment is located in a converted garage next to the main house in which the owners live. The owners were at home rarely during the week, the pool is shared with them. They were very friendly and courteous at all times and were able to help us with anything. There are two older bicycles with which you can not go on long tours, but they are really useful for driving to Lucca (10 minutes). The city is beautiful and surrounded by an old city wall.

Fantastic Location!

We loved our stay in Lucca at Villa Leonor. On arrival the stunning grounds were met with a wow! Accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipment, set in the grounds of a beautifully modernised Italian villa. Good walking distance from Lucca (20-25 mins to station although that was in the heat!) or 10 mins by bike to city walls. As it turned out the weather was very hot when we visited so the walk which would normally not phase us was a hot one but the bikes available to use during your stay were a godsend. Taxis are available but very expensive so worth thinking about if you have no hire car. For us it worked brilliantly. Property has the benefit of a lovely pool which we used daily and shared with the owners who were out most days, made us feel very welcome but also gave us privacy. We would not hesitate to stay again. Genuinely nothing outside the tips I’ve given above.

Beautiful Villa

My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 nights in this villa and absolutely loved it! The place is decorated beautifully and very clean! They have a welcome book full of information and sight seeing/recommendations for places to eat. It was in a great location that is close to the inner city of Lucca. Only downside was that our AC was broken when we arrived and they were not able to fix it. If you put air conditioned in the amenities list, please fix the air conditioning before guest arrive. We asked for you guys to come check the air conditioning early into our stay since we couldn’t get it working and was informed on our last day of staying that it was broke.

Peaceful Retreat

A perfect apartment only 15 minutes walk from the train station and 20 minutes to the Lucca city walls. A pleasant walk which was well lit even in the evening. The apartment has everything you need for your stay. The table the owners provided was positioned in a small corner out of the sun but as the owners were away we moved it to the pool area in an evening to enjoy the sunsetting. As such it was a beautiful place to spend a few hours in the warmth of the sun and admiring the well kept garden. The pool itself was well kept - not particularly big but Ok for 2 people. It was very well kept and clean. We didn't see the owners but met the people that look after their house who were friendly. Everything was immaculately clean and tidy. We will return. Suitable for both a short or long stay and possible to get to without hiring a car. Access to a BBQ would be good especially if we had been staying longer, but overall nothing!

Fantastische plek!

Fantastische plek! Wij zijn hier twee weken geweest met een baby van 9 maanden. Het buitenverblijf/guesthouse is gelegen op het terrein van de eigenaren. Het is precies zoals op de foto’s weergeven. De slaapkamer is groot genoeg om een campingbedje naast het bed te zetten, de keuken heeft voldoende opties om te koken en ook de badkamer is netjes. Woonkamer en slaapkamer hebben beide een aparte airco. Het zitje is gelegen direct aan het guesthouse en vanuit daar kan je de tuin inkijken. De tuin is enorm met daarin het zoutwaterzwembad. Dit deel je met de eigenaren die eigenlijk nooit thuis zijn. Een enkele keer kwam er familiebezoek langs, maar er werden altijd een parasol en twee bedjes vrijgehouden voor ons. Het zwembad was voor onze babyfoon te ver weg om signaal te houden als de baby sliep, het huis heeft dikke muren waardoor het signaal er niet doorheen kwam. De auto kan geparkeerd worden aan de openbare weg, niet binnen het terrein zelf maar het is daar prima parkeren. Het huis is gelegen in een industriegebied, af en toe hoor en zie je een vrachtwagen voorbij rijden maar de tuin met het zwembad is werkelijk verder een oase van rust en ruimte. De eigenaren kunnen geen Engels, maar het bureau via wie deze airbnb wordt verhuurd kan je altijd een berichtje sturen met een verzoek. De eigenaren maakten wel elke dag het zwembad schoon voor ze naar hun werk gingen, wasten onze handdoeken en waren zeer netjes en opgeruimd. Verder hebben wij ze heel weinig gezien omdat ze voornamelijk aan het werk waren. Verder staan er twee fietsen die je kan lenen om bijvoorbeeld de fiets naar Lucca te pakken. Een andere tip is om een keer een hapje te gaan eten in Montecarlo (30 minuten rijden), echt Italiaans dorpje met meerdere restaurants in de straat (in het weekend alleen geen tafel te krijgen zonder reservering). Accommodatie is echt een aanrader, dit vind je niet snel rond Lucca!

Tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno

L'appartamentino è accogliente e molto curato, c'è tutto quello che può servire per mangiare lavarsi e dormire. Il giardino con piscina sembra molto rilassante anche se per il periodo non ne abbiamo potuto usufruire. Si è appena fuori dal centro e questo ha il vantaggio del rumore e lo svantaggio che bisogna avvicinarsi in bici o auto.

Fantastisch verblijf.

Eigenaren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Maria van h et verhuurbedrijf ving ons goed op. Goeie communicatie. Gratis fietsen kunnen gebruiken. Helaas zat het weer wat tegen waardoor we niet echt gebruik van het zwembad konden maken. Het was schoon in de villa. Locatie was perfect. Dichtbij Lucca op ca 5min fiets afstand. Andere steden als Florence (1uur) sienna(2uur)en Pisa (30min) waren goed te (Website hidden by Airbnb) buiten de villa konden we gratis parkeren

Geweldig!

Bij aankomst opgevangen door het contactpersoon (Maria) die ons binnen liet en uitleg gaf over alle voorzieningen. Het appartement is gelegen in een bijgebouw met een eigen ingang. De eigenaren wonen in het huis ernaast en zijn ontzettend attent (als ze thuis zijn). Het zwembad en de gigantische tuin zijn tot eigen beschikking en worden alleen met de eigenaren gedeeld. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien (oven en grote koelkast en zelfs alle keukenmachines die je nodig kunt hebben). Alles was brandschoon. De locatie is op het eerste gezicht wat afgelegen (industrieterrein), maar in 10min ben je met de fiets (!) in het historisch centrum. Tevens heb je geen last van de wegen rondom het huis en de tuin. Het is een prachtige plek en beter dan op de foto’s! Wij gaan zeker terugkomen.

Noi ce ne siamo innamorati!

In questo anno particolare, abbiamo optato per una vacanza tutta italiana. Abbiamo alloggiato in questa bellissima casa e il nostro soggiorno è stato perfetto. Seppur la zona non sia così bella (area industriale ma molto tranquilla), il tutto viene lasciato alle spalle non appena si attraversa il cancello di casa. Sembrava quasi di essere in un posto diverso, circondati dal verde, da uccellini e soprattutto tranquillità. L'alloggio è molto raffinato e dotato di ogni confort. Da non sottovalutare la pulizia, perfetta! Non una cosa fuori posto! Il giardino è grandissimo, si possono fare tante attività! L'erba è molto soffice e sempre ben curata. Per non parlare della piscina, sempre pulita e bellissima. La signora (non la proprietaria) che ci ha aperto casa e mostrato il luogo è davvero molto gentile e premurosa. Ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni necessarie per trascorrere al meglio il nostro soggiorno. E' stata molto gentile anche durante il soggiorno stesso, informandoci su quali spiagge andare e avvertendoci, per esempio, dei negozi aperti tutta notte e via dicendo. I proprietari, lavorando dalla mattina alla sera, non sono quasi mai presenti ma quelle poche volte che abbiamo avuto il piacere di parlare con loro, si sono mostrati molto gentili e disponibili. Ci hanno consigliato cosa visitare e dove mangiare (fatevi raccomandare anche voi, noi ne siamo stati felicissimi! Un posto più buono dell'altro!). Ci hanno inoltre lasciato a disposizione le loro biciclette per poter andare nel centro di Lucca. Dall'alloggio al centro ci vogliono circa 10 minuti (se non meno). La strada NON E' pericolosa (come invece avevo letto in altri commenti). Il proprietario, Vittorio, ci ha spiegato molto bene come andare in centro ed evitare il sottopassaggio super trafficato. Una volta capito come arrivarci, è stata una passeggiata! Infatti abbiamo usato moltissimo la bicicletta! In conclusione, RACCOMANDIAMO questo alloggio.
