Eingebettet in einem authentischen Pariser Viertel bietet dieses elegante und geräumige Apartment mit zwei Schlafzimmern einen idealen Ausgangspunkt, um Paris zu entdecken. Dieses 83 m² große Apartment befindet sich im zweiten Stock (mit Aufzug) eines typischen Hauses von Haussmann und ist im traditionellen Stil mit allen modernen Annehmlichkeiten eingerichtet. Es bietet bequem Platz für bis zu fünf, möglicherweise sechs Personen.

In der Nähe des Square Trousseau im historischen Faubourg St Antoine (12. Arrondissement) gelegen, sind Sie in der Nähe von Sehenswürdigkeiten wie der Marche d'Aligre, der Promenade Plantee und der Opera Bastille. 200 m zur Metro Ledru Rollin und der Hauptbahnstation Gare de Lyon, sowie Busse und Velib Fahrradverleih. Dieses herrliche Apartment liegt nur einen Häuserblock von einem überdachten Markt mit frischen Lebensmitteln, Kleidung und Krimskrams entfernt. Zahlreiche Cafés, Händler und ein herrlicher Park befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe und nur 200 m zu einer gehobenen Einkaufsmeile.

Die Unterkunft umfasst zwei Schlafzimmer, Master mit Kingsize-Bett und ein zweites Schlafzimmer mit einer Auswahl an Doppelbett oder zwei Einzelbetten. Modernes Badezimmer mit Dusche, separatem WC, Wohnzimmer, begehbarer Küche und Eingangshalle. Das separate Esszimmer verfügt über einen ausziehbaren Esstisch und ein Schlafsofa.

Die Wohnung ist hell und luftig, mit Balkon mit Blick auf die Straße (doppelt verglaste Fenster), und Fenster zum Innenhof für eine Querbrise im Sommer. Es ist voller historischem Charme und verfügt über Eichenparkett, dekorative Gesimse, Wandverkleidungen, Marmorkamine, hohe Decken und Kronleuchter.

Zur Ausstattung gehören ein Flachbild-Kabel-TV, ein DVD / BluRay-Player, eine iPod-Dockingstation / -player, kostenfreies WLAN und ein Telefon für lokale und internationale Festnetzgespräche. Die moderne Küche ist mit einem großen Kühl- / Gefrierschrank, Backofen und Induktionskochfeld, Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine, Waschmaschine und Trockner ausgestattet. Convenient and Quiet Neighborhood

This was our fourth visit to Paris, and this is the type of neighborhood my husband and I enjoy staying in… out of the crush of tourists, but accessible to the metro and therefore all of Paris. The apartment is as listed and comfortable with a nice view of the area. There are several nearby cafes, restaurants, a large farmers’ market, bakeries, wine stores and a supermarket. The building is located at the corner of a two block long pedestrian-only street that ends at a park. Check-in in was easy, and we immediately felt at home.

Fantastic location and beautiful space!

We loved our time in this beautiful, quiet apartment. One of the best parts was meeting and talking with Natazha for the check-in. She is fantastic, and gave us so many great tips for exploring. The location was perfect for all that we wanted to do--shopping at the local market, exploring the Canal and Promenade Plantes, as well as easy to get to must-see tourist spots to show our niece. Unfortunately, the VRBO website directed us (and later our niece) to the wrong address, a block away. Also, VRBO's recent merger eliminated my account and I couldn't access and correspondence with the owner. Fortunately, I was already in contact with Natazha.

Fabulous apartment in a wonderful location

This apartment is great, with two nice sized bedrooms, a separate living and dining room, and an excellent kitchen. The neighborhood can't be beat, with the Marché d'Aligre just a block away and two metro stations within a short walk.

Apartment was perfect for us. Well situated, modern kitchen in a beautiful building. Security doors and an elevator were greatly appreciated. Numerous restaurants in the area and the Metro and bus stops were a five minute walk. Our check in was extremely easy and efficient.

Wonderful Paris Apartment

This apartment is so charming and in a great location, we were sad to leave! Very comfortable with plenty of space and all the amenities needed to feel at home. There are lots of great restaurants, bakeries, etc right in the neighborhood, and it's easy to get to other neighborhoods with the metro nearby. The personal welcome at check-in was much appreciated, with tons of helpful information and recommendations for visitors. Thank you for a fantastic stay and we hope to be back!

Living like a Parisian

If you’ve seen the monuments and visited the museums try staying in a real Paris neighbourhood in an updated late 19th century apartment. Buy your fresh bread daily from the local boulangerie. Shop for fresh fruits and vegetables at the farmers market just two blocks away. Dine at the many local restaurants and wine bars. Catch the 1, 8 or 14 metro lines or RER trains, all within short walking distance, to just about anywhere in Paris and beyond. Experience Paris more like a Parisian than a Tourist.

We can't wait to return

We had such a wonderful stay in Paris at David's place. It was perfectly located in a beautiful neighborhood, conveniently located near the Gare de Lyon train and Metro station. We found many delicious and welcoming restaurants in the neighborhood, as well as the amazing market around the corner. The local host was traveling, so we were met by another person (Benoit), who was very helpful and welcoming. The apartment itself is gorgeous and very comfortable. We stayed with our two sons and had plenty of room for the four of us. The apartment had everything we needed and more. We especially appreciated all of the recommendations in the binder, as well as the travel books. We felt like we were living in Paris for the week, rather than just visting. Can't wait to return!

Marvelous Apartment in a Great Neighborhood

This apartment is wonderful. Everything works as you would expect. The beds are nice and comfy. The kitchen is great. We loved having a separate living room and dining room. The location is perfect. The road directly in front is pedestrian only, so the apartment is quiet. The fabulous Aligre Market is just around the corner, and stations for the number 1 and 8 Metro lines are a short walk away. This neighborhood has a family feel to it that we loved.

Great Apartment for a Family

We had a really lovely stay in this apartment. For Paris, this is a really spacious apartment in a great location for a good price. Nicely furnished and equiped. Walking distance to Bastille, Gare de Lyon, to subway station . Excellent infrastructure: the farm market, shops, restaurants, bars, all nearby. Very well linked to all sightseeing sites. I would highly recommend it and will book again. Owner very reliable from the booking until closing of contract and keen on getting fully satisfied visitors. Thank you David.

Beautiful property!

We can’t say enough about this property. It is a beautiful place in a very nice neighborhood. There are a lot of restaurants and boulangeries as well to choose from. Natasza met with us upon arrival and showed us around, and gave us recommendations throughout the week. We especially liked coming back each night and opening up the beautiful French doors and listening to the hustle & bustle. These doors keep the noise out at night. And, it’s very light in the apartment during the day as well! I highly recommend this property!!

Apartment gem in 12th

The apartment evokes 19th century charm with exquisitely detailed crown moldings and original herringbone floors. The sofa is comfortable. The kitchen is modern and has everything needed to cook and bake lovely meals. The main bedroom has a true American king-sized mattress. We were so pleased with it. I like tempurpedic and my husband prefers traditional. We were both happy. The star in the kitchen is the stacked full size washer dryer. There was bit of a learning curve for us foreigners but wow it was a pleasure to use. The coffee maker was perfect. The neighborhood was new to us but we had so much fun walking the streets and checking out the different restaurants. The most amazing covered market filled with a variety of fresh meats, poultry, seafood, cheeses, and prepared foods. Outside was an open market

Another Wonderful Stay!

We stayed here back in September of 2019 and loved every aspect of it! So after being held back from traveling due to COVID, it just made sense to return to Rue Charles Baudelaire! The neighborhood has everything you need within steps. It’s nice to spend the day walking to see the sights in the busier parts of Paris, then return home to enjoy the apero with the sun shining through the open window taking in the sounds of the pleasantly active, but quieter neighborhood. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are traditional with an updated kitchen. Off to Loire for now! Then back home, already talking about our return!

Wonderful, the appartment and neighbor hood were every thing they said. I loved it.

The arriving was stressful, I knew check in was at 4pm, I was waiting on a taxi to take me to the appartment, Natasza called me at 4:20pm wondering where I was, I explained I was waiting on a taxi, she said she had things to do, if I wasn't there in 20 minutes she was leaving. The taxi came, I called her and said I was on my way. When I arrived she was there, let me in, showed me around and explained information about the appartment. She didn't have to talk to me like that.

Beautiful Neighborhood & Apartment

We stayed in David's place in the 12th Arrondissement and it was everything we hoped for! The property was perfect for our family of four! The living space was was spacious with a living room/dining room/fully stocked kitchen with laundry. The two bedrooms afforded us enough space to sleep and unpack for our 2 week stay. The main bedroom was beautiful and spacious with a comfortable bed and the back bedroom was perfect - we split the bed into two twins for our 8 and 10 year old girls. The bathroom was modern and updated! The building is an old Haussmann style with lots of charm in the apartment. And we loved our view and balcony's looking on the street. The neighborhood was everything we hoped for! The location near Place d'Aligre was perfect! We went to the indoor market daily and the outdoor market is set-up 5 days a week. There were wonderful Boulangeries, Cheese & Wine shops all with in 5 minutes distance. And one Monoprix and one Franprix that were large with everything else you may need! Again ALL within 5 minutes distance!There are wonderful restaurants in the area that we tried. Including Molly's pub that is around the corner. It was a perfect burger after a long day of flying and staying up to fight jet lag! Finally Gare de Lyon station is less than 5 minutes walk with four major metro lines available. And then line 8 was a 5 minute walk the other direction. This spot is perfect!!

An elegant apartment in a wonderful “quartier” of Paris

The apartment is situated in one of our preferred areas in Paris: The “Marché d’Aligre” (between Bastille and Gare de Lyon). David’s apartment is perfect in all respects: a very well equipped kitchen, very tasteful interior, excellent beds and a stylish bathroom. The building is of high standing and very calm and safe (with Maria, an authentic nice “concierge” on the ground floor). A special thanks to Natasza whose exhaustive, witty and helpful information made us feel at home immediately. During our stay we already decided to book two other stays in spring and summer. (Normally, tourists know their holiday dates and then they start looking for free apartments. In this case, we do it the other way round: First, we look up when David's apartment is free, and then we select our dates for our Paris trip(s) ... ;-))

Wonderful stay

My son and I stayed in this beautiful, inviting apartment for two weeks and were joined partway through by my close friend and her daughter. We all had a peaceful, relaxed stay. The proportions and layout of the rooms are very pleasant, with natural light everywhere, and the furnishings are well chosen and attractive. Both bedrooms are nice though the second one is a bit small; overall the space is still ample for a family of four since there is both a living room and dining room to spend time in. All the rooms have gorgeous windows, some with balconies. We ended up cooking quite a few times particularly since there is such a wonderful market a couple blocks away. Everything is close by. Natasza provided all the information we needed and was highly responsive--but we didn't need to contact her until we let her know we were leaving because she had given us so much useful information when we checked in. The house manual is also exceptionally specific and detailed, and we found all questions thoughtfully addressed. We heartily enjoyed our visit!

Paris Perfect

This lovely apartment in the 12th was everything our family of four could have asked for. We have stayed in a number of other Paris locations, but we all agreed that this apartment was-- by far--our favorite. It was bright, comfortable and well-appointed. We shopped at the local market and prepared most of our meals at home, an experience we all enjoyed, particularly because the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved getting to know this quieter side of Paris and found ourselves exploring many of the wonderful areas near the apartment. David was extremely responsive during the booking stage and thoroughly answered all of our questions. The apartment was exactly as it had been described and Natasza, who met my son on arrival, was very helpful in explaining things in the apartment and helping to acclimate us to the neighborhood and its many delights. Staying in this apartment allowed us to feel, for just a few days, like we actually lived in Paris. There is no better way to enjoy this enchanting city! Thank you, David. We'll be back.

Charming Parisian Apartment

This is a lovely Parisian apartment in a quiet family oriented neighborhood. The location was perfect for walking to Place de la Bastille, the Seine and the Marais neighborhoods. Great restaurants and fresh food markets near by. Natasza, the manager was so very helpful when she greeted us upon arrival, showing us all around the apt and explaining where everything we could possibly need was. It was so wonderful to be greeted by such a cheerful and welcoming person. The apt is very well appointed with traditional, comfortable furniture, brand new bathroom and toilet room. The kitchen has everything one needs in order to prepare meals, though we did not as we enjoy eating out. After a long day of touring and a lot of walking we enjoyed coming back to the apartment for a glass of wine before setting out for dinner, opening up the large windows to enjoy the ambiance of where we were. Located on the corner of a not so busy street and a pedestrian walkway what little noise there was completely disappeared when said windows were closed that provided a peaceful nights sleep Our last day we happened upon the elevated walk on the Viaduct just a block away. What a lovely walkway that is. Again, Natasza made our checking out very easy. Definitely would stay in the apartment again on a return trip to Paris. Thank you David for providing us such a lovely apt for our short 5 day stay in Paris.

Live like a Parisian

We were met at the property by Natasza who gave us a full rundown of the property and how to use everything within it. And was available for quick responses over message for any future queries. And prior to arrival, David was most helpful and made sure that all requests were accommodated. We wanted a comfortable apartment in a safe residential neighbourhood, and that is what we got. Lots of local places to eat and plenty of food options at the local market (inside expensive as more gourmet, but good value foods outside) and local supermarket opposite. Some lovely local restaurants too, but we also ate out whilst out and about. Good local transport linkages within easy walking distance by both metro and local RER stations made moving around Paris easy. There is some local noise, but nothing different from any other residential area of Paris with its usual traffic noise and bustle of everyday high density living in apartments. Internally, everything was spotless and comfortable. We loved the character and old fashioned feeling, with its spacious light and airy rooms and high ceilings. But with modern bathroom and kitchen facilities. What's not to like? Thanks for making us so welcome and comfortable. Not for someone seeking somewhere trendy with clubs and noisy nightlife , but truly a comfortable place to stay and to return to at the end of a long day at various museums and sights.

A chef’s Paradise

2 rue Charles Baudelaire was a comfortable place for us to call home for a month. We chose the location for its proximity to the Marché Aligre… Paris’s oldest ( and we think best) outdoor market. We like to cook. Every morning we found a wonderful selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, meats and cheeses practically at our doorstep! The kitchen in the apartment was a perfect compliment to our culinary pursuits. Unlike just about every Paris rental, 2 rue CB was equipped to cuisiner. We found all the necessary pans/utensils/ serving plates/ glassware at our fingertips. The induction stove/oven was a bit of a technical challenge only because we were unfamiliar. But with 4 burners and an oven big enough to cook a Turkey, we were quite satisfied. It helped to be able to read the manual in French. Natasza was fantastic and full of enthusiasm. She responded quickly to our messages and spoke perfect French and English. When I asked for either a milk frother or a microwave oven to heat milk for my morning coffee, I got both tout de suite! A cooperative owner had also something to do with it. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with a separate dining room capable of entertaining 6. The master bedroom on the street side was quiet at night. We spend a good part of the year in France and were curious to try this Paris location as it is outside of the tourist mainstays. The neighborhood is improving, but still economically, racially, and demographically diverse. You will see children playing in the pedestrian streets and a few bums sprawled across sidewalks. Sort of normal for where real people live.
