Die Wohnung befindet sich in der renommierten Ile Saint-Louis und der Saint-Louis en l'île Straße ist die Hauptstraße der Insel, im Laufe des Tages sehr lebendig, mit vielen Geschäften (Bäckereien, Käseverkäufer, Metzger ...) und guten Restaurants, aber sehr ruhig in der Nacht. We had a great stay! Unit was fully stocked, quiet, and had instant hot water! Lots of shops and restaurants on the street. Our favorite was Le Paradiso for excellent dining, ambience, and a wonderful hostess, Camille. And of course, all the big attractions very close by.

We had a lovely stay in this historic and atmospheric apartment on Ile St. Louis. The location was top notch, walking distance to Notre Dame, the Marais and all the attractions of the left bank. Despite being in the beating heart of Paris it was quiet. Almost like living in a village with a bakery, butcher and fruit and vegetable store close at hand. Also lovely restaurants and coffee shops close by. The apartment was clean, warm and the kitchen well appointed with everything you would need to prepare meals. The host and his representative Rebecca were attentive and responsive to our needs. When our flight was cancelled at the last minute they responded immediately with an offer to change our transportation to the airport and allow us to stay an extra night. Would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting an authentic Paris experience.

I wish I could have stayed longer. As others have said, it feels more like a home than other places listed. I cooked some simple meals and was pleasantly surprised to see excellent pans in the cupboard. The hot water is almost instantaneous in all faucets which I also appreciated. The bathroom and living area is spacious with is also rare to find in Europe. The neighborhood is charming and neighbors helpful. There's an amusing cat on an upper floor who walks herself down to the ground floor and waits for the next random resident to unlock the atrium door and let her out for a stroll. Don't hesitate to book this home, you will be comfortable and may just feel like at local.

Had a wonderful trip

We enjoyed a four day stay here, and have to say that it was a wonderful home for those days. It is located in if not the best, one of the best parts of Paris. We loved that it was quiet and had a neighborhood feel, and “coming home” to it at the end of the day was a luxurious feeling. The flat is spacious and the kitchen outfitted with everything one can need (spices, flatware, glasses). The bathroom has a tub and a wonderful heated drying rack. We enjoyed crepes at one of the nearby creperies and there is an adorable bakery literally next door. Philippe and Connie were extremely helpful and available for any concerns, which we didn’t have any. Really, not much to complain about this great flat. We are thankful for our delightful time here and hope to come back again in the future!

Spacious apartment in an excellent location

We loved our 9-night stay at Philippe’s apartment. It was a warm, cozy place with a large living/dining area and plenty of space to store our luggage. We always travel with a white noise machine, so if there was any noise we didn’t notice. We didn’t meet Philippe face to face, but communication with him was excellent. Rebecca manages the apartment and was very helpful and easy to contact as well. There was absolutely no problem entering or leaving (always a concern for us) as Rebecca was there to let us in, and the taxi driver used by Philippe for getting to CDG was prompt and friendly. The location was ideal, as there were three metro stops not far from the apartment. My wife and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The only downside was having to carry our bags up to the second floor (3rd floor US). Also, the internet was a bit spotty for the first two days but a repair person came by on day 3 and everything was fine after that.

Fabulous Apartment on ILE SAINT-LOUIS

Everything about this lovely apartment is perfectI It looks out on a delightful street filled with restaurants and inviting shops; it is well-maintained and charmingly furnished; you can arrange to be met at the airport by Jean Pierre; and on arrival at the apartment you will be met by Connie. She made us feel welcome immediately, and was quick to share suggestions for our time in Paris. Connie was clear on how to reach her during our stay, and encouraged us to phone her if we encountered any problem. My husband and I relished returning to the apartment at the end of each day, and it was lovely to have the expanse of an apartment rather than a hotel room. Some restaurants we recommend from our recent stay: Le Caveau next door to the apartment; Chez Paul, L'Ange 20, and Au Passage in the Bastille area; and our favorite - L'Estrapade near the Pantheon. My husband and I look forward to returning to Paris, and can't wait to live the Parisian lifestyle again in this delightful apartment!

"Perfect apartment in the...

"Perfect apartment in the center of Paris, lots of restaurants around, a bakery with delicious eclairs and baguettes just next door. Also two supermarkets, a cheese shop, drugstore and ATM/ cash machine around. Though the apartment is situated in an lively district, its very quiet at night, furthermore is the bed room on the yard side. It's an old house with tall windows and authentic and neat furniture. The books in different languages are a nice plus. Couldn't be any better. Das Appartment liegt wie beschrieben direkt auf der Île de Saint Louis, Notre Dame liegt nur 5-Gehminuten entfernt. Gleich neben der Haustür befindet sich eine wunderbare Bäckerei mit köstlichen Eclairs und Baguettes, auch der Supermarkt und ein Gemüsehändler sind nicht weit, sowie Apotheke und Bankomat (alles in Gehweite!) Obwohl in einem belebten Viertel (tagsüber kreuzen etliche Touristen die Straße) ist es nachts sehr ruhig gelegen, zudem geht das Schlafzimmer in den Hof. Es handelt sich um ein altes Pariser Haus, die Räume und Fenster sind hoch und lassen viel Licht hinein. Gemütlich und authentisch eingerichtet, die Bücher in zahlreichen Sprachen sind ein nettes Plus. Alles in allem war es ein perfekter Urlaub."

Staying in Philippe's nic...

Staying in Philippe's nice appartment in the heart of Paris was a pleasure. If you want to stay near the tourist highlights this is the right choice. However, if you choose to be a bit more adventurous and decide to roam the "unknown" Paris this is also easy to achieve from here as most of the useful subways are reached just accross the bridge from the "ILE". The appartment has a nice three window front to the main street. which gives you enough light. For Paris, the street is not too noisy at all. There is a very good bakery just next to the flat where you can buy fantastic cakes and a good baguette. Sometimes in the morning you can hear some activites from the appartment's sleeping room but that shouldn't bother you at all as the delicious bread will be on your plate just a few hours later. Anyway, come here and feel the heart of the city of lights. Philippe will definitely be a very welcoming host. Oliver

Lovely apartment on Ile Saint Louis

We loved this location but would warn older people of the stairs anywhere in Paris. Most buildings don’t have elevators and it’s awkward to get suitcases up and down. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and we’re able to walk to most of the sites in Paris. We also had lots of shops, restaurants and galleries on the island.

Great location!

Great location on Saint Louis en L’isle. Deuxieme etage. Only negative is early morning garbage being picked up from courtyard. There is a good boulangerie next door for croissants. Owner is helpful and the pickup from the airport is a nice plus for tired travelers.

WONDERFUL PLACE ON ILE SAINT-LOUIS

This is a charming apartment in a great location. The apartment is centrally located with many nice restaurants and shops right at your doorstep. The metro stop by Notre Dame is a short walk that will get you to Versailles and Eiffel tower with no changes. We walked to the Louvre and Pompidou. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Communication was very good and the whole process simple.

Perfect location for left or right banks

We very much enjoyed our two week stay in the apartment. The location is perfect for all activities. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. We experienced two minor problems - the Wi-Fi stopped temporarily and one set of apartment keys stopped working but Phillipe responded very quickly and both issues were solved promptly. We recommend this apartment very highly.

My daughter and I stayed here for a week. The location was near to ALL. Walking distance to stores, restaurants, everywhere: over the bridge to the Notre Dame and more shops. Beautiful and safe streets for walking everywhere. We were met by Connie,: the check in was simple. People we met raved about Rue San Louis, and the island it's on. The bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen area were both spacious and very clean. Great for people watching thru the large and airy front windows. Many circular steps going up to the apt. Good for the legs. LOL
