Great Place within the Wall!!

The place is relatively modern with all necessities and the private parking place to have a place within the wall is great!! The perfect place to stay when spending time in Lucca.

the Private Parking: A BONUS

I would highly recommend this apt in Lucca. Beautiful inside and location is safe and everything you need is within walking distance.The underground parking is a bonus as well as elevator, air conditioning, washer and dryer.

We were greeted by Sonia and Chiara. We liked them both. The apartment was perfect for us. It is well decorated and had just about everything we wanted. The bed was especially comfortable. We loved the location. It was peaceful and quiet.

A very nice and well appointed apartment!

Lovely apartment in a great location just inside the city walls. The private parking with elevator access is a major benefit and a huge help when travelling with a child. Sidrak and his team were very accommodating throughout our stay, and had great tips on where to eat and for day trips.

Highly recommended!

The location was fantastic! Right within the walls of the city and the free parking with elevator was VERY convenient with luggage and coming home late. We have 2 girls and even though they didn't come with us on this trip, it would be a great location for a family (although the flat is a 1 bedroom) - overlooking a park and playground, walkable to delicious restaurants and shops and coffee.

21 Great Days

Even though Casa Piccionaia is in the northeast quadrant of the city, it is close to everything: the wall, the anfiteatro, great restaurants, the Lucca Italian School, the train station et cetera. Out point person, Elizabeth Petrini, was extremely helpful throughout our time in Lucca. She was great ! The apartment itself was safe, clean, quiet, and good size for a couple. We'd rent it again in a heartbeat - hopefully for a month next year. Might I suggest: a shelf in the shower for toiletries, a larger supply of toilet paper, a change of sheets and towels ?

An enjoyable stay. Thank you!

The apartment was light, comfortable and well equipped. Wide views across the park to the hills give a sense of space which is very special considering it is accommodation within the old town. The on-site private parking for our car was a real benefit At times we experienced intrusive noise coming from the public park late into the evening. There is nothing the owners can do about this but it merits comment in the feedback. Closing the double glazed windows and doors can largely overcome this.

Fantastic suburban-style vacation home in Lucca

My wife and I spent the month here and we had quite an enjoyable time. It was within seconds of walking distance from IMT University and so it was a perfect spot for us. We also noticed some advantageous to staying here instead of the the city center a lot quieter and more like a suburban neighborhood vibe. If you want, you can walk ten minutes and you'll be in the middle of Lucca. This apartment is right along the wall so it's easy to go for a walk along the wall whenever you'd like. Home is luxurious inside and comes with all the appliances you need to make it feel like home. 30-day price point could be lower

Jederzeit wieder!

Die Wohnung ist wirklich perfekt gelegen. Innerhalb der Stadtmauern von Lucca, aber trotzdem problemlos zu erreichen. Großes Plus ist der Parkplatz direkt unter dem Haus. Ebenfalls keine Probleme beim Rangieren in der Tiefgarage. Insgesamt eine nette Wohnung für 2 Personen. Das Bad ist sehr klein, aber man kann bekanntlich nicht alles haben.

Nettes, helles Apartment: empfehlenswert

Positiv: Ruhige Lage ausserhalb der Touristenströme; schöne Aussicht auf den grossen Park; modern, bequem eingerichtet. Zufahrt mit dem Auto ( in Lucca ein Luxus!), Garage im Haus, mit Lift von der Garage ins Apartment, daher kein Schleppen von Gepäck. Negativ: kaum Arbeits-/Abstellfläche in der Küchenzeile; kein Seifen-/Shampoohalter in der Dusche; keine Abstellfläche im Bad (es wäre genug Platz für ein kleines Regal unter dem Fenster; keine Heizmöglichkeit: bei 10 Grad Aussentemperatur hat es drinnen bald 15 Grad > sehr ungemütlich! Keine Espressomaschine, nur ein umständliches Melitta Filterkaffee gerät.

We had just included this apartmetnt in our program and unfortunately some small items were missing, but we would have been happy to provide them immediately if you had informed us. The heating is centralized with all the other apartments and it is forbidden by the law to have it on in May. Unfortunately the weather was unusually bad. We hope to be able to better assist you in a near future
