Wir befinden uns auf der Westseite der Big Island von Hawaii, direkt oberhalb von Kailua-Kona, auf der Seite des Mt. Hualalai in Holualoa, mit einem fantastischen Blick auf das Meer und die Küste! Bitte lesen Sie unsere Bewertungen, denn die Aussicht von der Cottage Lanai ist besser als wir in Worten beschreiben können!
Unser neues, maßgeschneidertes Studio-Cottage ist etwa 500 m² groß und verfügt über eine geräumige, breite Veranda und spezielle Bistro-Hochstühle, um den herrlichen Meerblick zu genießen. MUSS sehen, um zu schätzen!
Die kühle Höhe unserer Hütte ist 1400 ft. Mit einer schönen Aussicht auf die Küste über Honokohau Harbour. Die Sonnenuntergänge, die wir genießen können, sind unglaublich!
Holualoa Stadt selbst, ist jetzt ein kleines malerisches Kunstdorf und eine klassische alte kleine hawaiianische Stadt mit viel Geschichte. Die Gegend um Holualoa ist aufgrund der kühleren Temperaturen, des Kona-Kaffeelandes, der Aussicht auf die Küste und der unmittelbaren Nähe zur Stadt ein bevorzugter Aufenthalts- und Wohnort.
Es gibt mehrere Veranstaltungen in unserem Dorf, einschließlich "First Fridays" jeden Monat, wenn lokale Künstler, Musiker, Imbissstände und mehr überall in den Straßen von Holualoa Town sind. Wir lieben Holualoa und wissen, dass Sie es auch tun werden!

Great Views A Short Drive Outside Of Kona

We had a great stay here on the back half of our vacation. Great views from the lanai, great shower pressure, and a nicely done cottage. The short drive was worth it to be outside and above the town where it was quieter and cooler. The frogs were intense but didn't keep us awake, almost like a white noise machine. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone exploring the Kona area.

Wish to stay longer

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It offers a stunning coastline view and we watched the beautiful sunset almost every day, which was really relaxing. We would love to return and stay here again on our next visit!

Perfect couples retreat!

We stayed here a few nights for our Kona side of our trip. The online photos are great, but it looks even better in person. The owners were very friendly and take immaculate care of the property. We would stay here again.

Nice Place

It was great until the owner came by the last day around 9:00 asking us when we were leaving and I said the checkout time at 11:00. He said he has another person coming that day with an attitude. I did not say anything, but we paid to 11:00 and not my problem that he had another client coming in . It just messed up a great time and great place they have and they had been very nice up until then.

Big Island West Side

Stayed 5 nights here after 5 nights on the east side. Studio was perfect - just the right amount of space for the two of us. Decorated very nice, comfortable bed, clean, had everything you needed, peaceful view of the awesome sunsets from the veranda. Wonderful hosts! Highly recommend!

Beautiful sky views

This place was very clean and had beautiful sky views. We watched an amazing lightening storm one morning, a display of double rainbows the next morning and then watched the setting full moon on the third morning. It is very close to everything in Kona/Kailua.

Perfect place for two

Very cozy, clean, and welcoming cottage. Location was central for exploring up and down the coast. Host was very easy to communicate with. Many amenities were included which made the stay even more pleasant. Had wonderful sunset views and I loved hearing the chirping birds through the day and frogs at night. Grounds are attractive and front porch is great to relax and or eat outside. I would definitely stay there again.

Unforgettable - book it right now!!

Billy and Berta were amazing hosts!! This place has everything you need for an amazing stay in Holualoa. The frogs offered a great natural white noise to sleep to, but they also have ear plugs available if they are too loud for their guests. Beach gear, snorkel gear, beach towels, iron, ironing board, French press, coffee grinder, water kettle, extra fans, detergent, after-sun…were just a few of the things available we took advantage of. It’s way from the tourist areas, but still close enough to enjoy the restaurants if you want. But there are a ton of wonderful shops down the road headed south, including a sweet bread stand that you need to stop at (look for the red flags). We visited in October so it got a little cold at night, but the hosts already had extra blankets available. And while there is no AC, the island is easily your AC - just open the windows and leave them open. Zero negative feedback. Seriously, BOOK IT.

Great ocean view cottage to relax and explore big island

Nice and cozy cottage with ocean view in a gated area. Each day, we enjoyed eating early breakfast in the Lanai with the great ocean view before heading out to explore the island. The property is located in the Kona side of the island within short driving distance to many beautiful Kona beaches (Mahaiula, Kua Bay, Magic Sands Beach...). It is also located near Costco/grocery shopping and Kailua Kona town/dining. We stayed at the cottage 7 nights and used it as a base to visit attractions around the whole island. We rented a 4WD Jeep and was able to visit all key sights thru out the island. Roberta and Billy, the property owners, are very nice and attentive to our needs. We arrived late but had no problem checking in. Communication was great. This is our first visit to the big island and we had a great time. Thank you Roberta and Billy for sharing the cottage with us.

Relaxing retreat

The cottage was just awesome. Had everything we needed for a week’s stay (kitchen, laundry). The property is gorgeous and the views from the Lanai are stunning. One of the best rentals we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. The hosts are Remarkable people. Highly recommend the cottage for 2 people.

Small Cottage

Property was great, View was good, Cogi frogs were loud but knew this going in so had earplugs. My fault I thought it was a full kitchen, (no stove just a microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven and a hotplate), which was fine. We had a great time. Full access to wifi, streaming channels on tv which we checked out but is not why we were there, we were there to see the island. Only has room for 2 people which was perfect for my wife and I. A very nice place to stay for the price. Expect rain in mid June.

The property was great. Cozy place in the mountains. Well kept up, friendly owners. Parking was a bit of a challenge with the steep incline. Rent a vehicle built for that. There is no AC but as the rental states it’s cooler at the elevation your at, I was never really cold or hot there. Also, there is no oven I saw. There is a toaster oven, a hot plate or an outside grill if you plan on cooking food.

Breathtaking

We absolutlely loved everything about this place! The view was incredible, and we felt lucky waking up there every morning. Billy and Berta were great, and their thoughtful amentities were perfect (they truly thought of everything you might need while staying on the island). I really hope we get to come back one day!

Exceeded expectations

The cottage was just as described and depicted -- only better! More space than we expected, very comfortably arranged, and a very nice outdoor eating area on the front porch with views of the ocean. We love Holualoa and this was a delightful, quiet place to stay with convenient access to roads to Kona.

Billy and I have lived on the Kona Coast for over 30 years and raised our kids here. Billy is a retired roofing contractor, and I owned retail stores in town for years.
We recently built our adorable guest cottage for family and friends, and also to vacation rent for retirement income! It is built with love and creativity! And now we are enjoying meeting travelers and hearing their stories too.
We love this side of the island and our awesome cool elevation and total coastline view! We are located up the hill amongst the Kona Coffee farms and yet so close to town. This is why we love living here... it has everything!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We are in an ideal elevation and location!!! And trust us on that! You can stay cool, be so close to Kona town, (only a short 12-15 minute drive) but it still feels so private and quiet. This is where Kona Coffee is grown for a reason! On rainy days, you will hear the coqui frogs at night, but we supply earplugs if it is bothersome. We've gotten used to them...sort like crickets on a summer night!

Another big plus about our location is that you can access the roads to north and south and across the island without going through downtown and traffic. We have lived here for years and this area is our favorite for all reasons. The best of the Big Island!

Location!!! View!!! Awesome lanai and barbecue too! Close to town, convenient shopping, but slightly cooler and more peaceful. Very private, and lots lots more. Plus our cottage is decorated with fun eclectic imports and very island style too.
You will have about everything you will need and will get you anything you want if not already there!
Also we provide muffins, coffee and fruit for your first morning.
