Balglaze ist ein wunderschönes Haus mit einer neuen separaten Eco-Hütte, ideal für Gruppen oder mehrere Familien. Es ist nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zur Trevaunance Cove und zum Dorf St. Agnes, eine großartige Lage in der Nähe von schönen Stränden, Restaurants, Geschäften und zum Erkunden von Cornwall. Balglaze ist von großen privaten Gärten umgeben, die sich ideal für Sommergrills eignen und nach einem Tag am Strand zum Entspannen einladen. Das Haupthaus verfügt über einen großen offenen Wohnbereich mit zentralem Holzofen und die Eco-Hütte bietet einen privaten Raum mit einem versunkenen Garten für einige ruhige Momente.

Das Haupthaus verfügt über ein Hauptschlafzimmer, ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und ein Etagenbett mit drei Etagenbetten sowie ein Gemeinschaftsbad und ein separates WC. Die Eco-Hütte verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer mit Bad (1 Kingsize-Bett und 1 Zweibettzimmer) und einen offenen Wohnbereich mit Küche und Schiebetüren, die auf einen versunkenen Garten führen. Die Eco Cabin wurde von lokalen Handwerkern gebaut und ist ein perfekter Rückzugsort für ruhigere Momente. Das Haupthaus verfügt über eine große, helle und luftige offene Küche, einen Wohn- und Essbereich mit einem doppelseitigen Holzofen und bietet Platz für alle Gäste für Mahlzeiten in großen Gruppen.

LOVELY PLACE

we spend our holidays with two families in Balglaze. it is a lovely,big and comfortable house for 7 people and it is quiet nice to spend time in the garden. St.agnes is nearby and a the walk to the beach is quiet easy. good surfing also for our young boys. we think about coming back next year. greeting from Hamburg / Germany

Great property in St Agnes

Lovely bright and spacious , immaculately clean accommodation with everything you could possibly need . The cabin is also amazing and could easily be totally detached from the main house if wanted. The beds were extremely comfortable too . Location is good too for both the village of St Agnes and the lovely beach

St Agnes gem!

There were 7 of us going away to celebrate an 80th birthday. Great WiFi. The 2 buildings gave some extra space and privacy when needed. Super helpful for those of us that needed to work. The kitchen is very well appointed and made cooking family meals easy. The laundry room was perfect for washing/drying and for hanging up wetsuits after a day at the beach. House is in very good condition. Gardens are beautiful and on a sunny day provided good sun traps to enjoy the warm weather. An easy short walk into St Agnes for the bakery, restaurants or the local shops. Perfect place to go on holiday and close to a number of great beaches. Highly recommend Balglaze as a place to stay.

Property clean and well located. Well equipped. Only minor criticism in that the soft seating in the lounges a little on the low side and could not accommodate the whole group. Apart from that the house, cabin and gardens were ideal.

Lovely house and location

A lovely property with secluded gardens in a nice quiet location of St Agnes. Lovely quaint village that is not over commercialised with everything you need. Scenic coastal walks and nice beach when tide is out. Would definitely return.

Great property and location

Lovely cottage, great location for exploring on foot the local beaches, cliff walks and village of StAgnes, and easy access for car if going further afield, such as Eden Project. Facilities in cottage give you everything needed for a comfortable stay including a large secluded garden with sun traps and plenty of seating. The addition of a second cottage on site makes it a unique holiday location for sharing family getaways.

Fabulous

Balglaze is in a great situation for access to Trevaunance Cove, the Coastal Path and exciting places like The Eden Project. St Agnes is a perfect village, offering everything you could possibly need. Balglaze itself is perfect accommodation for a large group. The two buildings are beautifully presented, extremely clean, warm, and well equipped. The owner, Sarah, responds promptly to any enquiries and you really feel well looked after. It is an excellent place for a holiday.

Spacious and comfortable accommodation short walk from village

Six of us middle aged men spread ourselves around the spacious property and used it as a excellent base for a walking long weekend. Although we did not spend a great deal of time at the property you could easily spend all your time there. There is a lot of space and the gardens are lovely with lots of outdoor furniture. The village and the sea were about 10 minutes walk away and the village had some great restaurants and pubs. Everything was as advertised and I would very might recommend.

We fell in love with St Agnes

The property was a great space for a family to gather and relax. The garden is beautiful ,obviously someone's labour of love. We swam 2 times a day and then relaxed at the house. Trips to porth chapel perranporth and st agnes head were rewarding. Thankyou for a great holiday

Great week with family

Great week away with family age range from 3 to 88. Ideal for all 11 of us and two dogs. Everyone said what a great find Balglaze was. Bliss in Cornwall

Arriving at St Agnes was a real pleasure . Family from grandchild to grandparents. Late arrival following a 12 hour trip did not stop a visit to the cove and the seed was down. Surf mad adults had everything they needed chilled out adults enjoyed watching and energetic grandchildren had the rock pools and ice cream! Mostly we enjoyed the beach but trips to Eden and other local places were a lovely part of the trip given the vast difference of landscape we are used to. Overall a Brilliant time was had by all and most importantly the dog loved it too!

Lovely Summer Get-Away

We had a nice summer break at Balglaze and found it to be well equipped, nicely located and very accessible to a mixed family group including children, disabled people and our dog. The house is comfortable and well equipped for a big family, providing lots of opportunities for relaxing. It is nicely situated within short walking distance to the village of St Agnes, and some local beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return.

Lovely house in a great location

We had a lovely week in Balglaze & cabin. Very spacious & well equipped, the house is in a lovely setting within walking distance of the village & beach. The only suggestion would be fans in the cabin as it was very hot at night but it didn’t spoil a wonderful holiday, thank you Sarah

Fantastic holiday home!

Belglaze was wonderful, really spacious and perfect to relax. Facilities are great and only a short walk into St Agnes. We stayed during the carnival weekend which was very entertaining. Local people were all very friendly so we hope to come again!

Balglaze is a family owned and managed holiday home. It is a very special place that has created many magical memories for our family. We have been enjoying annual holidays to visit family in the village for over 35 years. St Agnes has a thriving year round community and it is fantastic to be able to share this special place with our guests.

Balglaze was fully refurbished and renovated to make it into the lovely holiday home and The Cabin was built by local craftsman to create extra living space and a private sunken garden area. Balglaze has a fantastic location close to St Agnes village and is surrounded by private gardens and feels quiet and secluded. It has wonderful big windows that allow natural light to flood into the house. It is a lovely place to be all year around, either after a bracing coastal walk in winter to enjoy the double sided wood burning stove or in the summer after a day at the beach to come home to a bbq in the evening sunshine.

The main house has a large open plan kitchen and dining space perfect for large groups to come together for meals during their holiday. However, the separate Cabin offers a warm and cosy space that is perfect to give a large group some space and quieter moments throughout their holiday. It is a perfect set up.
