Cliff House is located on the south side of Pentire and benefits from a south-facing aspect over to Crantock Beach and The Gannel Estuary. This area has a feel of the Mediterranean, with majestic palms and other lush greenery flourishing on this sheltered side of the headland.
The Pentire Headland is only 50 yards from Cliff House and is an area of outstanding natural beauty and protected wildlife, providing a wonderful opportunity for walking and exploring, with views extending the length of the Cornish Coastline.
Fistral Beach is only 6 minutes away, there is a golf course a 5 minute drive from the house, and the convenience of shops and amenities is within easy walking distance. However, the tranquil residential neighbourhood can make it all feel a world away.
There are several exemplary restaurants, cafes and pubs in the immediate vicinity of the house, many of which welcome children and dogs. The vibrancy of Newquay Town Centre a mile away, with a growing reputation as a culinary hot spot. Many well-known chefs have chosen this area to launch cutting edge, top-class restaurants offering exciting menus created with fresh, local produce. There are some very special options for exceptional dining on the beach, which provides an incredible backdrop and a romantic feel. Newquay's beaches are also home to some of the best street food offerings in the South-West.
We chose Newquay for many reasons and we're grateful to be able to share these with our guests; the outstanding beaches, coastal walks, a lively town with plenty of activities for all ages. Most beaches accept dogs, and offer lots of family entertainment. The area has excellent access by road, train or plane, and we're in close proximity to many attractions in the wider Cornwall region, including Eden Project, Tate Modern and many other places of interest.
