"Lowenek" ist eine schöne Wohnung mit Parkplatz, die im Jahr 2016 zu einem hohen Standard komplett renoviert wurde. Die Wohnung verfügt über einen offenen Wohnraum und 3 Schlafzimmer, von denen eines mit eigenem Bad ausgestattet ist. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle und Waschmaschine.

Nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand entfernt können Sie aus dem Fenster schauen und die Brandung beobachten, bevor Sie zum mit der Blauen Flagge ausgezeichneten Strand aufbrechen, der in Stoßzeiten von RNLI-Rettungsschwimmern bewacht wird. Für diejenigen, die während ihres Besuchs das Surfen lernen wollen, gibt es eine Surfschule im Dorf.

Porthtowan bietet eine Reihe von Annehmlichkeiten wie zwei Pubs, ein Café, Fish & Chips, ein Lebensmittelgeschäft, einen Kinderpark und einfachen Zugang zu Spaziergängen.

We had a brilliant stay. My son lives opposite. We didn’t know we would be that close to him so it was perfect. There was everything we needed in the apartment..lovely walk to the beach and pub. We will definitely be back x

Right by the beach

Location very good...beach in two minutes. Could have been cleaner and TV a bit high for comfort. Had to use a chair for bedside table. Everything we needed was there, including wet suits and buckets and spades. Sunsets were superb from the dinner table!

Good

Good... accommodation met everyone's needs and requirements. The living area and rooms are all of a good standard. The location and ease of access is good with the village having all you need 2 pubs/bars coffee/cafe ice cream and tourist beach wares shop....there is a Tesco about 15 minutes away for bigger shops. The Beach is magnificent at low tide huge stretches of sand and surf. The blue bar is worth a visit to watch the sun go down with a chilled beverage..full of locals and visitors all chilling in a relaxed atmosphere....oh and the WiFi was quick enough for a 14 year old and his Xbox while the 12 year old was calling friends online....so we got peace and quiet on the master bedrooms little veranda....again with a chilled beverage or 3. A visit to St. Agnes was nice ...if you are lucky the local seals might say hello.

Summer stay in Porthtowan

Fantastically located lovely apartment with plenty of space for parents and three teens. Fully equipped with everything we needed and the welcome pack was a really thoughtful addition. Communication with Emma was brilliant and we would highly recommend the apartment -especially for its location to the beach!! We’ve been coming to Porthtowan since the children were small and it’s a testimony to the fact that at 19,18 and 15 they’ve ask to come back year 7 years in a row. Officially our happy place!!!

Amazing location and property

The Property is located in the perfect spot to visit both north and South Cornwall and also has many local attractions (walks, beaches, surfing). The property itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay, it is vey well equipped and spacious. Communicating with Emma is very easy, she replies within the hour. The kids were very excited with the hamper which they really enjoyed. I would highly recommend this place.

Excellent accommodation with nearby beach and coastal walks

The apartment was very well laid out and maintained, with all facilities well explained. As a family group we found it invaluable being able to easily split our time between being on the beach/in the sea, going on coastal walks and having meals & drinks in local bars/restaurants - all within a few minutes walk of the apartment. It was also very handy being within easy driving distance of many of Cornwall's top tourist sites. We strongly recommend the apartment as a holiday destination.

Amazing!

The property is just up the hill from the beach. It's a perfect location for a beach holiday, giving everything you need for a great stay. We were very comfortable. Emma is just fantastic - seriously so. Our child damaged one of her chairs and she was just so understanding about it. She provided such a nice welcome package of food as well, we were totally blown away. She also let us watch one of the movies she had downloaded from Disney Plus. Really, really wonderful, which makes your stay that much better! Re wetsuits - Emma has a hose so you can rinse them outside - a must if you're surfers/body boarders like us and come up from the beach covered in sand and salt water. I can't rate this place more highly.

Ideal location

Perfect location only 3 minutes walk to the beach. Stunning sunset views from patio area and lounge. Very spacious, photos do not do this apartment justice! Kitchen very well equipped with large fridge freezer enabling easy full self catering, but the fish and chip shop is fantastic if you want a take away. Owner Emma is very good at communicating. The only thing missing is a tumble dryer for that typical damp Cornish atmosphere! Overall a fabulous apartment in a lovely setting, perfect beach holiday for young children.

We loved our weeks stay in this lovely tastefully decorated apartment- so handy for the beach & had everything we needed, including good WiFi for our 2 teenagers! It was a real bonus to have the little outside seating area with a great sea view - we could hear the waves! Emma was easy to deal with & arranged a fantastic welcome hamper. Hoping we can make it back next year.

Comfortable apartment

We have just spent a week here. Six of us which included two children. The apartment has everything that you can possibly need for a week’s stay and is very comfortable and spacious. Ideally located for Porthtowan beach and nearby Truro Newquay and St Ives.

Fantastic

Absolutely wonderful week in our favourite Cornish beach. We came as a family when I was a child and now coming back with my own children to make more fabulous memories of this wonderful beach. A week of excellent weather made even more perfect by our practical, comfortable and considerate accommodation. Games and toys for the kids, a washing machine and a welcome hamper of dreams! Talks are already in progress for next years trip!
