We absolutely loved this house. It has such a nice feel to it. We had a fabulous uninterrupted view of the eclipse from the 2nd floor lounge window and there was lots of room for family gatherings.

Lovely house and great location. Excellent communication with the host. Beautiful views from lounge & dining room & top bedroom. We all had a great time and we were blessed with amazing weather. Would totally recommend this property.

good location ,steep hill from beach to house , nice sun trap rear yard 2 parking spaces for cars difficult if both cars are long , good sea views over graveyard , weather very good would go again to same property

Great location, superb views, 2 parking spaces which is a bonus in St Ives, but the cars need to be medium size. Host was great, we had an issue with the cooker and she sent someone over immediately. Kitchen well equipped, albeit a small kitchen for the size of house, but had everything we needed. Would definitely come back

Wundeerschönes Haus

Das Haus hat eine sehr schöne Lage mit sehr guter Aussicht. Für Menschen, die leichte Probleme mit dem Gehen haben, ist der Auf- und Abstieg in die Stadt allerdings extrem mühevoll. Da es in der Stadt nahezu unmöglich ist, einen Parkplatz zu bekommen, ist daher dfieses Haus in diesem Fall nicht ideal. Das Haus selber hat viele schöne, aber auch relativ kleine Zimmer und recht kleine Bäder. Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet, das Esszimmer sher geräumig. Fantastisch ist das Wohnzimmer mit einer wunderbaren und hellen Atmosphäre. Der Parkplatz reicht nur dann für zwei Autos, wenn diese recht klein sind. Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt mit 6 Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern sehr genossen. Jean César

The property was very comfortable and well situated for a holiday in St Ives. It comfortably accommodated 12 friends and was well stocked. The property owner was helpful and prompt when we needed assistance. I would recommend Beach View House for any large group.

The property suited us fine. A bit tired in places but everything was clean and worked. The beds were a bit firm for our taste but others have found them OK. Had a great time.

Bay View House has a lovely view over the bay. the accommodation was spotlessly clean on arrival. We could not fault it. Hopefully we will be looking to have a return visit sometime next year.

Large well equipped house with beautiful views and only a short walk from the beach and town centre

We enjoyed staying here - the views from the lounge and master bedroom are amazing! It’s only a very short ( steep) walk to Porthmeor Beach and down into StIves harbour and centre . The rubbish situation needed some clarification and the kitchen , although well-equipped is quite small for a large group. All the bedrooms were well presented with comfy beds. Would definitely come again !

3 Generation Family holiday together

We were very happy with this property. The room sizes were good and plenty of everything to use. The only one big comment was the bins and recycling. We found that the green bin was full when we arrived so once it was collected and empty on the Thursday we put in our rubbish and it was again full for the next arrival? The recycling which was full to over flowing in the shed did not help. This is supposed to be collected by housekeepers I guess as we were told not to put out? The windows in the dining and lounge areas have been painted shut so we was unable to open them and with a 1 year old we could not have any doors open to let air in. Otherwise we were pleased with our family holiday.

lovely stay. good location. well equipped house

Great house in a fantastic position. Kitchen is small but dining room and reset of house is good for a large group. Parking is a problem as only 2 small/medium cars can fit on the property and the car park across the road is always full!

Bay Watch House

St Ives is a bustling Cornwall village in a picturesque location. Bay Watch House is well located with lovely views to the front and within a five minute walk of the beach and the town. The house with six bedrooms ,an additional sofa bed and four bathrooms was ideal for an extended family gathering. The main living room on the first floor has a great view of the bay. The kitchen is small for the size of the house but is perfectly functional. Overall a great choice for a relaxing family or group holiday.

Beautiful Seaview Property

We had a week long stay in this beautiful house, the views are incredible and if you don’t mind the steep hills the location is perfect. Within the house the rooms are laid out in such a way that all of our party of 7 had their own space, we originally booked for 9 people but 2 couldn’t make it, if they had come we would still have had plenty of room and bathrooms. Could not fault the facilities and when we did have a problem with the plumbing they were round immediately to fix it at no inconvenience to us. Highly recommended.

Lovely big house over looking Porthminster beach.

We had a lovely week away for my mums birthday and retirement. There were 11 of us all together plenty of room, was great to have a separate room where the children could watch television. The house is situated on a hill so you do have to walk down into town (and obviously back up) but was a good workout for the young. Nice wooden park for the kids which is close by too.
