Hello Jeff, We agree with you that Flores is fantastic and the villa offers amazing views, however, we are very disappointed by your review. We take great pride in La Toc Villa and are working very hard to make it a great place to create memories. We never had a 3-stars review (neither did the previous owner), or have anyone used the word miserly to describe our property, so we feel the need to clarify a few points. In the last three years, we've renovated the full deck area, retiled the pool and refurnished the house with brand new furniture, linens and bedding. We will check the linen/bedding inventory to make sure none of the old sets are still in rotation, same with the kitchenware. The fridge was replaced 5 years ago and the TVs were replaced last year. We chose smaller and standard TVs to fit the space and our needs. The pads under the toilets seats are indeed rough and unfortunately can't be replaced as the toilets are from Italy and the model discontinued - however this does not affect the comfort and functionality. We like Nespresso's as much as the next person, however we don't think those cups sustainable and they are hard to find on the island. The hot water challenge is tricky as it boils over on the roof if it heats all day because of the solar panels. Joan did adjust the timer, and could have adjusted it again had you asked us. I hate lukewarm showers so I get it. We will review the onboarding process to be shorter while still being thorough as we want to make sure our guests are comfortable and know how the house works. As per toilet paper/paper towel, we will take care of buying more if required - good suggestion. Lastly, we leave the responsibility to our guests to bring their own phone chargers, USB adaptors, etc. With that said, the lamps in one of our bedroom have a built-in charger for phones if someone is in a pinch.
