Wow! Villa Zatarra was everything we had hoped and more! The pictures were spot on and we couldn’t be happier with our stay there. Our group was four adults and it was the perfect amount of space! The beds were comfy and the views were amazing! The kitchen was well equipped with all the things we needed to prepare our breakfasts and lunches. We ate out most nights. Nancy came by mid-stay to bring fresh towels and show us how to operate the washing machine. She was so lovely and answered any questions we had! Rob the host was very attentive! Checking in multiple times throughout the trip to ensure our stay was going well. He invited us to watch his Sunday performance at The Naked Fisherman and we are so glad we did! I had the shrimp tostadas there and they are the best I’ve ever had! Robs performance on saxophone while his wife sang was wonderful to watch and our whole group enjoyed it! We spent the day down at the beach in-front of The Naked Fisherman and it was so peaceful. We had the best week at Villa Zatarra, thank you Rob for everything!

We had an amazing time staying at this villa. The home is unique and beautiful, very relaxing in a beautiful part of the island. All the amenities were great it really felt like we were in a tropical paradise. It was so awesome to be able to leave the doors open and enjoy the fresh air. you really will experience nature . :) Rob is an excellent host. He took the time to personally greet us when we arrived and when we departed . His communication is prompt and his suggestions of restaurants and things to do in the area are also great. He even recommended a private chef. (Book chef Kay) Rob thinks of everything. Nancy, the housekeeper was so sweet and kept the place Clean. She even did our laundry. Stanis a must! The airport pick up and drop off was so smooth. Be sure to do the land and sea tour with Stanis. It was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on when on vacation. Staying here made us feel like locals and we had a wonderful experience. I did not regret staying at a villa instead of a resort. (and my husband and I are very picky) the house was clean and had everything we needed. Be sure to pack bug spray though, because the mosquitoes are also very welcoming. :) Don’t look any further book now!

St. Lucia Oasis

This villa is truly one of a kind tiny paradise oasis. My husband and I rented the villa for 7-nights for our fist time trip to St. Lucia to celebrate our Honeymoon. We could not have asked for a better stay. The house itself is so unique - providing a neat open air space, perfect for lounging by the private pool or playing card games inside. There are two bedrooms, one on the main floor and one on the second floor. Both are lovely. We stayed in the main bedroom on the second floor, complete with a private balcony and two hammocks. The house alone would have been enough to ensure a great trip, but the added restaurant recommendations, quick communication, and overall friendliness of our host, Rob, tipped this trip into unforgettable territory. Rob made the villa easy to find and to access. He also provided a great reference package of the island; beaches, restaurants, activities complete with a helpful description of all. We will absolutely be making this a repeat trip!

Beautiful Villa

Our family had a great stay! We loved the sunrise views and breeze from the balcony. The pool/patio area is a great place to relax. We enjoyed the variety of flowers and plants on the property and seeing an occasional hummingbird. The property manager and owner were very nice and gave us some good recommendations. We’d definitely stay again.

Quiet Villa in a Tropical Setting

The Villa is a spacious home with an equipped kitchen and several sitting areas inside and out. It's quite private, with its own (small) pool and deck; it's less than 15 minutes' drive to Rodney Bay which has many restaurants and shopping venues. There are a couple of friendly resident cats who come and go as they please - a bonus for our group (all cat lovers) as they provided daily entertainment, including stealing our breakfast one morning when our "chef" turned his back!Nancy the house cleaner (and pool lady) is very friendly and will try to take care of any of your requests. She seems to show up three days a week, so if you need stuff (clean towels, etc.) you have to plan around that. One day Nancy showed up with a young man who presented us with green coconuts ready to be opened for coconut water and "jelly" flesh for snacks.Rob Taylor is an interesting character with a lot on the go, and a source of much information - he is very quick to respond to text messages. Rob also provides musical entertainment at some of the better restaurants in the area and you should try to catch one of his shows. Something lacking in the Villa is a "What to do in St. Lucia / Gros Islet" list/pamphlet. In summary, the Villa offers a quiet tropical retreat with easy access (rental car a must) to beaches, shops and lots of eateries. Some visitors might prefer a more "ready-made" resort shared with a multitude of guests, but if you want your own space, then this fits the bill.

Heaven within heaven

St. Lucia is already an amazing place to be and this villa was the slam dunk to an amazing vacation. the property is nestled within a quiet neighborhood where you have complete privacy and all of the amenities one could need. the open air fire floor is a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor living. the property manager is beyond friendly and sent helpful recommendations to ensure my wife and I were comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better host, or a better villa to host my wife and I after our destination wedding.

Great house for a family

This house is charming, well-appointed and perfect for a relaxing family get-away. Our family of four have an amazing week

Truly Spectactular Villa and Great Location

We enjoyed a truly exceptional experience on Saint Lucia. The Villa Zatarra was a stunningly beautiful base of operations on the north end of this enchanting island. Great communication from Robert the owner. We fell in love with the cool plunge pool on the property and I spent as much time in there as I could, including for every sunrise. The early morning and late night swims with all the amazing surrounding flowers and plants it was just so enchanting. The area is so quiet and chill but still so close to many adventures. We rented fat tire Ebikes during our stay from April and Ron who just started a new business in Rodney Bay called Sunset Ebikes and this gave us the ability to explore off road and on very remote trails both on the Caribbean and Atlantic sides and the ability to explore remote beaches inaccessible to automobiles. Nancy the housekeeper was a true blessing as was Mr. Stannis when we had transportation needs beyond the range of the Ebikes. We elected to transfer from the UVF airport via St. Lucia Helicopters and it was an amazing flight both ways, also highly recommend. Villa Zatarra has everything you could possibly desire and the folks of St. Lucia are a tightknit community full of warmth and love.

Stunning property with breathtaking views! This indoor/outdoor property offers spacious areas, a fully furnished kitchen with everything you could possibly need and your own private pool. There are a few beaches within 1.2 miles, one on the Atlantic and a few on the Caribbean side. The property is private, gated and very safe. The owners are so nice, friendly and helpful. They communicate timely and even came to check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed! The housekeeper, Nancy, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was relaxing without lifting a finger! The villas driver, Stanis, was phenomenal always making sure we got wherever we wanted to go anytime we needed!

A fantastic vacation

Had an awesome experience on Saint Lucia with the family. The Villa Zatarra is a great house to call home Well on the such a beautiful island. Great communication from Robert the owner. Both Robert and Verron called to check in on us and to welcome us to the island as soon as we were picked up by Stanis. Robert even visited us at the villa on our second day there to meet us in person as well. He is a very chill fella and can tell he really loves the island himself. You have the option to use Stanis for all of your travel needs and it would be silly not to. Stanis picked us up at the airport took us to this super tasty road side spot selling fresh bread and my son tried the salted cod on a delicious fresh roll and he fell in love. He is very professional, knowledgeable and so kind. We had our 11 year old son with us and he was so great with him. He really made sure to include him in all conversations and remembered everything he liked for our whole trip. If he is unable to provide you with a taxi service, he will find you someone else to help and they all carried the same traits. Nancy the house keeper was super respectful and you can tell she really cares for the property. I fell in love with the private pool on the property I spent as much time in there as I could. The early morning and late night swims with all the amazing flowers and plants around it was so relaxing. The area is so quiet and chill but still so close to so much.

Beautiful location..the private pool is awesome. Loved the open air lower level. AC worked perfectly in the bedroom (the only room w/air conditioning). The balcony off the master has 2 hammocks and the breeze is perfect as is the view... While this villa is starting to show its age (toilets need updating) and stove could use an update...it served us well and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The driver, Stanis, is pleasant and picked us up from the airport and took us back for our return home. The roads are constant switchbacks and hairpin turns. So be ready..haha. Stanis handled it like the pro he is!! Don't forget your bug spray...the mosquitoes are relentless. Enjoy...you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely Beautiful

There aren’t enough words to adequately describe the graciousness and attention to our group by the owner and his team. From arrival to coordinating transportation around the island, they were extraordinary. And the property is an oasis within an oasis. Villa Zatarra will be our St. Lucia residence during our visits.

Wonders in wonders

The Villa is beautiful, proudly surrounded by colorful flowers, bushes and palm trees. The upper bedroom breathes calmness and beauty, you can admire the ocean and relax in the shade on the balcony. Thé pool is also a nice place to be as well as the other room all decorated with careful attention. The owner Rob, the housekeeper Nancy and the taxi driver Stanis know how to welcome guests with an perfect mix of professionalism and warmth. The aera is not least, neighbouring by embassies and rich houses and villas. It was always a pleasure to walk the 20-30 minutes to the Atlantic or the Caribbean sea or even the North very end. A very good taste of the peace of Saint-Lucia. To us, it was a dream week!

Great location

This house was everything we expected. Clean, well stocked and a great location. Gated property in a super up scale community. Only 7 minutes from town. The house keeper came every day. The pool was cleaned daily. Nancy even did our laundry. The main bedroom is so private. Great communication with the owner, Rob. He checked in on us a few times. Absolutely will stay again. On a non house related comment.... The island is amazing. The people are the friendliest folks anywhere. Always felt safe everywhere we went. Day or night.

I don't even know where to start. The pictures do not even give it justice. From the beginning rob scheduled us a driver and made sure everything was cordinated before our arrival. The driver stanis is one of a kind, and i urge you to use him for all of your excursion and taxi needs. Hes polite, and always goes above and beyond. The house was perfect and has everything you will ever need to be set up. Stanis on the way in took us to a local store and got us set up right away and gave us a tour of the house. Rob also came and introduced himself, very professional and offered to answer any questions we had. When visiting some place new, having rob and stanis was a must. Rob also does play saxophone and does gigs on the island. We went to see him and it was truly a experience in itself. I will be back here in the future. If youre visiting st lucia and not staying at this villa you're not doing it right. Book this place you will only wish you stayed longer!!!

Awesome Villa!

What a great place in a great location! We enjoyed our stay very much. It was nice having the pool to cool down. Opening all the doors and windows and letting the breeze blow through made it seem like part of the outdoors. It was very private as well. We chose to use the recommended driver(Stanis). Definitely the way to go with the roads and traffic. The place is in a great location for all kinds of activities and restaurants. Rob and Veron were very prompt in answering any questions we had. Would highly recommend this place.

Absolute Paradise

This villa is amazing! From waking up to the most beautiful sunrises right from our balcony to floating in the private plunge pool we felt like we were in heaven! Rob, the owner was always available for us for any of our needs or suggestions on things to do. He even invited us to one of his performances, which I still have goosebumps from . Nancy, our sweet housekeeper was amazing and always made sure we were well taken care of. Stanis, the recommended driver was invaluable! His private land, and Sea tour is a must do!! The location from our experience travelling around the island was one of the best spots to be! Close to beautiful,quiet Reduit beach, the Friday night street party, Pigeon Island, and Rodney Bay. We couldn’t be happier with our stay. What are you waiting for 
 just book it you won’t be sorry!!

This property has so much character and the outside/garden area is gorgeous! The plunge pool was perfect for cooling off in and the AC worked perfectly. We would definitely recommend this property and the host was very communicative and helpful.
