Great place in a great location. A little lacking on closet space as cabinets are filled with linens, but host is super accommodating so I’m sure she would work with people. We had a short stay so it wasn’t that important. WiFi worked great, tv worked great and included US Netflix. Kitchen was well stocked and it was easy to take a 17 minute walk to old town Annecy from the apartment. Again, we were really happy there! Highly recommend it!

We ran out of hot water both nights, after a 26 hour trip a nice hot shower would have been very nice. Also, the place was not clean and ready for us. We had a long hassle of a process getting access to the unit and getting it cleaned even though I emailed the management company a week before our arrival as the owner asked me to. The owner refunded us 100 euros because of all the difficulties, I thought a full refund of the first night would have been more appropriate. But the refund is why my score is not lower.

Lovely stay! The concierge did not communicate with us the day of arrival and we were waiting outside for a 45Minutes before they texted back and sent an email detailing how to access the location. Fabulous house in perfect location

Fabulous well equipped house that was in a perfect location. Easy walking distance to the lake and beautiful old town with many choices of great restaurants and ice cream shops! Very convenient local supermarket. Great communication with owner that was very helpful.

Incredibly close to the lake. Annecy was adorable. Easy to walk to dinner. Lots of rooms and extra space. Very easy to let ourselves in and out. Amenities like a washing machine and big fridge were very nice too. Comfy beds. A few minor touches missing such as we needed to buy shampoo and more toilet paper, and it was quite a bit hot at night, at least until a-middle of the late night breeze kicked in, but nothing at all worth getting upset about. Clean and spacious and close to town center, what more could we ask for. We enjoyed our stay. Thank You

Wonderful place to stay with young kids

Annecy and the location of the house were perfect for our grandkids 1.5 and 6 years old. Proximity to the excellent sand beach and clear water at just the right temperature was terrific. For the adults being two short blocks from the very scenic paths along the lake was great. We took lots and lots of excellent photos. Although we only had the first floor, our accommodations were spacious with a very nice and large living room and kitchen/dinning room. The neighborhood was very quite with good food shopping two short blocks away.

Cozy home in a residential area.

Very close to the lakefront, 20' from the center of town. Charming exterior, a large living room, one primary bedroom, with another slightly cramped bedroom that fits realistically 3 people. We were 4 and it was perfect. A nice kitchen and a great bathroom. Overall we had a nice week despite the cold rain.

Wonderful property and ideal location

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our family (2 adults and 2 kids ages 10 & 12) spending a summer month in Annecy. We appreciated the many wonderful amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and beautiful backyard. The location enabled us to walk to and enjoy all that Annecy has to offer - beach, old town, special events at the waterfront, bike and boat rentals, and more. Property management contact was readily available and always gracious. Highly recommend for families traveling to this special part of France.

Perfect location, modern interior, beautiful old house

We are a family of 4 (kids age 13, 10) and we loved the house. It was a perfect size (- though could sleep 6 too), very close to the Annecy beach area, very close to a supermarket and a 15-20min walk to the restaurants, ice cream shops etc. It has no a/c but with full shutters on windows and a couple of open windows it felt comfortable. Would highly recommend it.

Wish we had one more day!

My family enjoyed our stay in Annecy. The property is very comfortable and spacious. The owner provides detailed information and is extremely responsive. We enjoyed the lake, parks, biking and wish we had another day to do more! The property is just a few blocks from lake community beach and downtown. A grocery store and bakery just a block away. There is no onsite parking. We were able to find street parking close by each day.

Excellent location near lake Annecy.

Very nice house near lake Annecy. The house is modern compare to France standard. Second bedroom bed is tiny, and uncomfortable. It is good for 2 small children, not adult. One drawback: previous rental did not clean the dishes well, many of the dishes in the storage still visibly dirty/oily => We only re-clean the one we use and ignore the rest.

As specified on the ad, the blue room contains a trundle bed (2 places) and a bed of 120 cm. We always have positive remarks about the comfort of the beds. We count on the correction of the travelers for the washing of the dishes even if our concierge cleans also the dishes regularly. Dishwashing products are also provided by the concierge.

Near the lake

Brillant location, just a few minutes walk down Rue Andre Theuriet to the lake and even closer to a great little supermarket on the other corner. We walked along the lakeside into the Old Town most days. It’s very pretty. A ride on a boat cruise is a must, and we hired electric bikes for a day to get to Talloires, half way down the lake. Quite a challenging steep ride back out of the town! Found a great Creperie and Finn Kelly’s Irish pub to watch the rugby. There is also very nice restaurant just past the Casino supermarket called Saint Charles, Lovely apartment and garden. Superb!

Nice house, but no air conditioning, screens or fans

The location is very good. Annecy is beautiful and so much to do. We visited during heat wave and there were no fans in the house. It was uncomfortably hot especially while sleeping. The property manager was not good. She never met us to let us in. The neighbor who lives floor above was nice enough to let us in and show us around, but didnt know how how a lot of the stuff worked in the apartment. Property manager did not communicate well with us. The owner seemed more helpful, but she was out of town at the time. Overall a good experience, but very hot and frustrating to deal with a lazy manager.

September getaway to Annecy

We loved this house. It is a steep walk up from the life of old town so you are right there but somehow feel away from it when you enter the property. The house is over 100 years old and has been in Corinne's family for generations. You can tell it is loved. It was modernized recently so you have a historic home with modern touches. The kitchen was well used and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable (great pillows and mattress). The water pressure was OK and temperature great (I like very hot). The main floor has half bathroom with the kitchen and living area. The next floor four rooms with a bathroom and shower (separate which is nice), the highest level is just great - it has own little living space, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. The best of the house is outside area. We sat and laughed daily looking at roofs of old town as sun set. Their is a hammock, close line (if you prefer to hang dry close) and hens. It is wonderful. Corinne is thoughtful in all details. She suggested the best veiw point of the lake, the best place to swim (and advantages of going in morning or night), the best bakery and butcher, the closest hikes, etc. We had a lovely stay. The only negative for me was it gets cold at night. With the bedding you were very comfortable but you wool socks and jackets were worn in doors after sun down. I very much hope to find my way back. We used over 10 of her suggestions and were never let down.

Wohnung statt Villa

Erst beim letzten Kontakt per Mail mit der Concierge hat stellte sich konkret heraus, dass uns nur eine Wohnung statt des Hauses zur Verfügung steht. Die Wohnung ist sehr eng für 4 Erwachsene. Die Zimmer sind klein, vollgestellt mit alten Möbeln. Küche und Bad sind eher neu. Küche leider genauso eng und die vorhandenen Geräte funktionieren nur unzureichend und sind versifft. Der Garten ist schön und fürs Frühstück geeignet, danach zu heiss da keine Abschattung vorhanden. Die Lage ist ruhig und bietet Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Zur Erkundung von Stadt und See ist die Lage gut.

Die Beschreibung der Anzeige macht deutlich, dass es sich bei der gemieteten Unterkunft um eine Wohnung handelt: "Hochwertige, komplett unabhängige Wohnung, die im Juni 2016 im ersten Stock einer typischen Savoyer Villa neu renoviert wurde." Die Größe der Wohnung beträgt 100 m2. Die antiken Möbel sind "Art Deco"-Möbel oder mit hochwertigen Stoffen (Lelièvre) bezogen. Wir waren am Wochenende des 26. Mai vor Ort und alles funktionierte reibungslos. Im Garten gibt es dank eines großen Apfelbaums Schatten.

Sehr schöne Stadt

Sehr gute Lage in der Nähe des See‘s, schöner Garten mit blühenden Bäumen, schönes Wohnzimmer, das Esszimmer ist etwas ungemütlich, der Esstisch kaputt und wackelig, der Raum mit den vielen Stühlen und zusätzlich Sofa ist sehr eng, nur eine Glühbirne als Beleuchtung. Leider funktioniert die Spülmaschine nicht richtig und hat sehr schlecht gewaschen, deshalb war schon bei Ankunft viel Geschirr schmutzig.

Vielen Dank, Anika, für Ihre Kommentare. Der Esstisch ist nicht kaputt. Es muss nur sichergestellt werden, dass der Tisch über dem Verlängerungskabel wieder geschlossen wurde. Es gibt viele Lichtpunkte in der Küche/im Esszimmer. Der Geschirrspüler funktioniert einwandfrei.

Bon séjour passé dans cet appartement

Très bien situé nous avons pu visiter le centre ville et nous promener autour du lac sans prendre la voiture. Effectivement une place de parking est accessible devant la villa. L appartement est tres bien équipé et lumineux. C est à conseiller.
