The house was very comfortable and well appointed. It provided everything we needed. The hot tub was great. The kitchen had very nice appliances and was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of towels for the bathrooms. We didn’t use the grill or fire pit but there were and available. Lastly, we enjoyed the area and the lake.

Lake house

The house was very comfortable and was like all the pictures. Kitchen had everything we needed. Two things that were a problem were the pull out sofa bed in the basement. It was like sleeping on the iron springs-extremely uncomfortable. We rented a pontoon boat for the weekend and it was very hard to park and maneuver around the owner's boat that is docked there.

Excellent property, clean, and having the marina next door was a bonus, although traffic noise from the road not as much. Would absolutely book again.

Beautiful lake house, made for an amazing 4th of July!

We absolutely loved staying in this house. Clean, well stocked and organized, and the hosts instructions were very clear. The property and house was gorgeous and the convenience of the dock made for lots of boat fun throughout our stay. Would HIGHLY recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Wonderful place for gathering with friends!

We really enjoyed our weekend on the property! Some friends and I came out to celebrate graduation and were able to use the grill and kitchen space for some lovely meals. We did rent a boat and I would warn any renters that the owners of the property have their boat parked at their dock year round. If you are not experienced driving a boat, I do NOT recommend this property for a boating weekend. We had someone with a bit more experience and he maneuvered into the small space but it was not easy.

This is a cute house on the lake with direct lake access and great outdoor space including upper and lower decks, screened in porch, and fire pit). It is close to the road so there is quite a bit of noise from traffic when outside.

Great Thanksgiving Trip to Lake Norman

We had a great Thanksgiving visit to lake Norman with family. The property was well kept and well stocked. There was plenty of room for family to gather and to spread out, especially the extra room downstairs with TV and the fridge was amazing. It's always a plus when you have more than one refrigerator in a rental house, especially with family. We didn't necessarily need it this time, but it came in very handy since we were prepping food for Thanksgiving. Outdoor spaces were fantastic as well as the hot tub. Plenty of fresh towels and a nice washer and dryer. We would definitely recommend this to others..

Relaxing Getaway

What a great place! It has plenty of room for lots of guests - cozy corners to relax in, but also has great common areas for everyone to enjoy time together. Sharon, the owner, is very responsive and helpful, and has clearly put a lot of love into this place. Highly recommended!!

Life long friends weekend

Four of us had friends weekend. The house everything that was advertised. Great location. Close to grocery store, fuel on the water. House was well stocked. Kitchen had everything we needed for meals. Plenty of towels and hot water showers. Screened in porch was great for morning coffee.

Grade school friends 50th bday get together

Stayed with 3 other couples for a weekend trip to surprise our friend for his birthday (he lives nearby) the house was very clean. It had more than enough ancillary things for use that came in handy. The hot tub was an added treat. I picked this house and the only gripes were the water in the canal wasn't a usable as most had hoped. We thought we would just be able to float in the area but you can't really do that or want to do that in the cove. The other issue was we drew names for which couple got the good bedrooms without the twin beds. Of course i planned the trip and got the last pick 🙄 The house was really great and the host was equally amazing.

50th Birthday with Family

Your home is very beautiful!. It was comfortable and spacious. My family enjoyed themselves and we did as well. Everyone felt very relaxed there. Convenient and comfortable stay at the lake!

Great accommodations for our group of 10 at the lake. Sleeps 10 comfortably. Our group was five couples in our mid 30s, and each pair had a room. Even the downstairs "extra sleeping area" is a nice separate space with a door and its own bathroom. The check in process was easy, and you can't beat the convenience of a lakefront property for a lake trip!

Lake Weekend

Really enjoyed the house! Great location and communication with hosts! Would definitely recommend to friends and family. A few drawbacks that did not take away from the experience but should be noted are: 1) beds definitely aren’t the biggest (we knew this coming in) so for a group of taller adults it may be a bit tight, especially when it’s the full 10 people. 2) Owner’s boat is parked at the dock, which effectively eliminates easy access onto and off the dock at the house. Something to note and I feel like should be advertised more clearly if people are looking for waterfront homes for boat-centered trips! Still, overall a great weekend!
