Beautiful and peaceful lake home! We enjoyed sitting on the deck or under the beautiful trees while watching the boats as they went by. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. Our dog loved exploring the fenced yard. We really enjoyed our visit and will be back!!

Beautiful property, but disappointed with a few things, particularly how dirty the outdoor spaces were.1. Back yard is not truly fenced - a pet can easily escape via the deck that opens to the front lawn.2. Shouldn't be advertised as "sleeps 6." The loft is really only suitable for children.3. The back desk needs a serious power washing. There's moldy residue all over half the deck from the trees. Additionally, the chaise lounges on the deck were unusable without cushions (metal, dark brown - scaldind hot in sun).4. The dock area seating was covered in bird poop and spider webs. We had to wipe everything down just to use it. Further, the dock needs to be sprayed with insect repellent. I get it that its a lake house and spiders are natural, but the amount was overwhelming. If I'm going to pay 2/3 of a mortgage for just a one-week stay, I expect things to be in tip-top shape. See photo5. The dock is unsafe. One of the deck boards split on us just from walking on it. The dock is uneven, and presents a 1.5" high trip hazard at one point on the walkway out to the doc. See photo.6. Lawn care people showed up unannounced while we had our dog in the back yard. He's friendly, but it startled him and he barked defensively. You really need to let renters know of these things.7. Poor communication. We had a wind storm blow up which blew a cover off one of the jet skis (not available to us for use). Regardless, we secured the cover with rope and contacted the owner - no response.

Great Lake getaway

Had a fantastic time on Lake Norman. The dock was fantastic for using our SUPs. The house was was great, with a well—appointed kitchen and everything we needed.

Planning to stay again!

This was an amazing experience for our family of 5! The location is perfect with so many shopping, restaurants and convenience located nearby. The home is well cleaned, maintained and accommodating. We absolutely loved the location on the lake along with the dock, backyard and deck. It really was exceptional and we look forward to our next stay.

Week at the lake with my family

Lake house is great for a family of four with 2 kids under 10. Stayed M-F, had a great time. House has everything you need, just bring your lake toys.Feedback for the house:- House does have a washer & dryer (didn’t see that on the listing)- The back deck and dock furniture are in need of cleaning.- Couch fits about 3 people max, in a room that can accommodate a larger couch for up to six people.

Very lovely home with a beautiful yard and dock. Ideal for enjoying the outdoors. A few notes for anyone considering it: (1) there is a washer and dryer; (2) the yard is fenced, but the deck opens to the front, so it is not secured — this is easily remedied with something like a baby gate; (3) the deck is beautiful, but uncovered, so if you have a lot of rain, you may be stuck looking at the deck from inside — the dock has a covered area, as pictured, but it won’t be dry if there’s more than a light rain. I would definitely return!

What a great house!

We loved the house and the dock. Easy access to a local marina if you would like to rent a boat, but amazing to just enjoy the dock without one. House was perfect for a family with older kids - the loft was amazing, but it takes a ladder to get up so not great for younger children. We will definitely come back.

Lovely spot on the lake

Great location, beautiful and peaceful spot on the lake. Great deck area on the water. Great kitchen with everything and more than you would need. I would suggest having more comfortable indoor seating. The sofa should be replaced. We would stay here again!

Spring Surprise!

This beautiful property will be remembered as a great place for our family. The scenery is spectacular, especially the morning sunrises over the lake. We created so many memories and throughly enjoyed the entire property and all that was included. It was also close enough to Charlotte, but far enough away to truly feel like a hideaway.
