*UPDATED!* Your family will feel at home in this spacious home that has it all! With a gorgeous backyard, alluring HEATED pool, tropical tiki bar, ping pong and other lawn games, cozy and comfortable rooms, and a kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for many... you will be more than comfortable here! The location is super convenient- minutes from Siesta Key, downtown Sarasota, and every grocery store and restaurant you could ever want!

Upon walking in the front door, you will see the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The floor plan of this home is open, airy, and very light! A large picture window in the living room floods the home with light; it's such a dreamy room in the morning with the blinds up, enjoying your coffee in the morning lights. There are remote-operated blinds, though, if you'd rather sleep in and keep the room dark!
The backyard is large and spacious with a totally fenced in yard. To the west of the home, there is space that is able to accommodate extra cars for small gatherings. As for Boats or RVs it can fit on the east side where the concrete floor is.
This beautiful home boasts 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, 1 of which is ensuite. The bathroom that’s not en-suite has a double sink and a bathtub. (There is a queen sized air mattress with bedding that is available for you to use upon request; additional fee applies).
In the garage you will find your necessities to have a wonderful beach day! Lounge chairs, umbrellas and some toys for the beach. You can also find the baby things there like a seat and crib.
This home is truly special in that it is in such a great location and has such unique features that you don't often find in a vacation rental.

Very Pleased

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great communication with the owner. The interior and landscaping have been nicely updated. The backyard with the pool and tiki hut were a huge hit with the kids!

Amazing property, everything was as described. Short drive to Siesta Beach, lots of grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. nearby. Host replied quickly to every question we had. The jewel was the heated pool, so amazing! We will be back!

July Stay

This VRBO was gorgeous. We had 6 people and it fit my family comfortably. The pool area was amazing, the pool is not heated but was warm in July. Tiki bar was so cute! We had a great stay and the owners were great to work with.

Fun Christmas in Sarasota!

The home was awesome! For the first time I found a place to look better than the photos. I'm had plenty of space for two families. The house is very comfortable, and a pleasure to stay in. The backyard had a terrific pool and an awesome tiki Hut! My family and I will definitely stay there again Eugene

Perfect Getaway

This was a perfect place for my family to spend Easter weekend. Easy check in process, beautiful home with a fantastic back yard with cute tiki hut, 2 grills, ping pong table & trampoline Quick trip to any location - just minutes from the south bridge over to Siesta Key beach as well as any grocery store, drug store, restaurant etc in the area. 15 minutes to downtown Sarasota and St. Armands Circle. The owner is very communicative and helpful. The house is super cozy and very clean! We will absolutely be back. Thank you for having us!

Our family followed our hearts to Sunny Sarasota from north Texas in 2018. We fell in love with the home and area but a jobopportunity took us back to Texas in 2021. We couldn't bare to sell our beautiful home in paradise so we kept the house and a growing real estate business in Florida. We get back here often to tend to the home and clients and also to soak up some Vitamin Sea. Whenever we can't enjoy it for ourselves, we open up our home to guests. We couldn't do this without the support of our trusted local management/maintenance team and retired neighbors. They are our eyes/ears & hands/feet when we're not there and have allowed us to host over 70 happy groups and maintain very high reviews and rankings.

Perfect spot for groups and families looking for a cozy, cute, comfortable, place close to the beach! We provide TONS of supplies and have more amenities than the average vacation rental. It's a quiet neighborhood and we greatly respect and appreciate our neighbors so NO PARTIES!! Fines may be assessed for violations of rules around number of guests and quiet hours.

This was our primary home that we chose with the plan to turn it into a vacation rental at some point. Therefore, we chose a home that would meet all of our needs as a family (space for two growing boys and pets, love of the outdoors, close proximity to gorgeous beaches, hosting friends and family, etc.) and would also accommodate the wants/needs of our wonderful future guests.

Why choose The Sand Castle?

I think Dave, one of our awesome guests from Sept. 2022 said it best when he wrote, "This was one of the most beautiful homes I’ve ever stayed in. The beds were so comfy. I loved that I could use the electric window blinds when I woke up and walk directly into the pool from the (primary) suite. The tiki bar was so much fun taking turns playing bartender with our friends who joined us on our vacation. The light over the pool and tiki bar made it feel like we were in our own little paradise. I would highly recommend this home to anyone and everyone. Can’t wait to start planning our next trip here."

Or when Justine, who also stayed with us last fall wrote, "This was the best location and accommodation ever. Minutes to the best beach and located on a quiet street but with easy access to main roads to take you wherever you want to go. Appliances were abundant and there are loads of pool accessories, games and beach equipment. The hosts were amazing...
