The property was beautiful, and the hosts were great! The location was wonderful as it was only a block from the train and we pretty much went everywhere by train. We also went out to dinner every night and there were many restaurants within of this place!

Stephan’s place is in a perfect location. It is clean with all necessities. The U-bahn is just steps away. Many groceries and pharmacies are close by as well. Everything is convenient to this location: various restaurants, shopping, markets, museums. Its easy to access. Laundry is just across the street as well. I never give reviews but this one deserves it!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Elke’s apartment. It is a spacious property, fitted out to a high standard.The location is also excellent - quiet enough yet with a nice buzz from restaurants and bars close by. Also very convenient for the U Bahn to get around the city.

Wonderful hosts, wonderful apartment

Elke and Stefan are outstanding hosts and their apartment was perfect for us. Excellent!

The apartment of Stephen and Elke is well presented, upgraded and everything has been thought of. It is in a nice neighborhood only two train stops from the city center. There are many restaurants in walking distance. The owner has a coffee and accessory shop in the building so any of your needs can be addressed promptly. This is honestly one of the best apartments we have ever rented on holiday. We give it high marks!

Great Place in Munich

This VRBO was wonderful! Everything is as advertised and more! The owners were friendly and very accommodating, helping us w/ recommendations and train information. Even bought some of their delicious coffee for our early mornings. The neighborhood was lovely, with easy access to the public transportation, and close by shopping and restaurants. The VRBO itself was great, w/ a comfortable bed and roomy spaces. We enjoyed the small open space for our afternoon drinks. Highly recommend this VRBO when visiting Munich and surroundings! Had a lovely time in & around Munich & this appartment was brilliant. Not only in a fantastic location close to the Metro but with shops & restaurants nearby too. Elke & Stephan were great hosts with lots of local information & have a lovely little chocolate shop next door, as we were leaving early tuesday morning we had intended buying some chocolates to take home but unfortunately didn't realise it was closed on Mondays so don't make the same mistake as us. Highly recommend this appartment.

Has everything - comfortable, clean, near U-Bahn

This was our second stay in this apartment and it was just as nice as the first time. The only negative is the kitchen is small - but there are lots of places to eat nearby and by easy public transport. We especially appreciate the closeness to the UBahn and the quietness of the apartment. The hosts own the excellent chocolate shop next door and even gave us excellent coffees one day.

Great apartment, great location

We spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The neighborhood has a number of good restaurants; the U-Bahn is just down the block. The apartment was clean, quiet (with the windows closed prior to restaurant closing) and very comfortable. The kitchen is small, but is sufficient for breakfasts and simple meals if you want a break from the innumerable places to eat in Munich. We hope to return!

Phenomenal Property with Amazing Owners!

My friend and I came into town for a concert and found this place through a search. The pictures do not even do it justice! The flat was furnished beautifully but still felt like a cozy home away from home. The location was perfect - close to the U-bahn station and surrounded by restaurants so there were many choices. The hosts, Elke and Stephan, were so sweet, warm, and welcoming and made our stay truly magical. We cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for having us!

Excellent Apartment In Munich

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Elke’s apartment. Stephan and Elke are wonderful hosts, very friendly and easy to communicate with. The apartment is very clean and well stocked. It’s perfect for a couple, or a family with one child. It’s very close to the Ubahn, restaurants and grocery stores. Finally, the chocolate shop they own in building is a total delight!

Wonderful property

Stephen and Elke are wonderful. They own a chocolate shop in the same building so are act your bacon call. Two or three great restaurants on the same street. Easy to get to downtown Munich. Subway is right there, but we enjoyed waking the 30 minutes to downtown. Highly recommend!!

Perfect setting for a Munich city trip

The location is super-central with very close underground access and very good food shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity. The flat itself is very pleasantly divided and quiet, although it is on the ground floor. The furnishings are pleasantly modern and the bed is very good. The small kitchen is sufficient for a city stay - especially because there is a varied and good restaurant and bar scene in the neighbourhood. The landlords take very good care of us and everything worked out perfectly.

Excellent as Advertised

The apartment was setup as advertised and everything was ready ahead of checkin time for us. The weather allowed windows to be open. Elke and Stephan were available anytime we had a question. The apartment is located short walk to Oktoberfest, and in a neighborhood that has plenty of restaurant and local shopping options. Definitely would stay there again on our return to Munich.

Seit 18 Jahren lebe ich mit meinem Mann einem waschechten Münchner in unser liebenswerten Stadt.
Seit diesem Jahr führe ich im gleichen Haus zusammen mit meinem Sohn die "Schokoalm". Ein kleiner süßer Laden in dem es sehr viel leckeres zu entdecken gibt.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Das Objekt liegt wunderbar zentral in einem sehr schönen Stadtviertel. Es ist sehr viel Bewegung in dem Viertel; es gibt tolle Lokale, kleine Läden und Cafes und es gibt immer etwas neues zu entdecken.
Die U-Bahn ( Station: Schwanthaler Höhe; Ausgang Ligsalzstr. ) ist nur 2 min zu Fuß und man ist in 6 min mitten in der Stadt.
Das Theresienwiese ( Oktoberfest, Tollwood ) ist in 5 min fußläufig zu erreichen.
Der wunderschöne Westpark ( Internationale Bundesgartenschau 1983 ) ist in nur 10 min zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

Die Wohnung hat eine eigenen Gartenterrasse mit ca. 10 m² mit Westausrichtung in einen ruhigen Innenhof. Er lädt gerade zu zum Verweilen ein nach einem aufregenden Tag in Münchens Innenstadt.
