The house was more beautiful and larger than we expected from the photos. We could see a bit of the beach from several balconies. The house was very clean and worked out well for our family of 9. Each couple or single adult had their own room and bath. It was also outfitted with many games and books for various ages. These were useful for occupying our young kids on the rainy day.

Great location, close to the beach, perfect for families!

I would definitely stay here again. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the walk to the beach was great. I would suggest stocking the house with board games, cards, and books.

Beach House

The house was just what we were looking for given the size of our family. We could all be together and yet separate when needed. The house was a little dated but nothing that interfered with our stay. The king size mattress was wonderful, but the queen size ones were a little lumpy. The bedroom behind the kitchen did seem to heat up more than the others but fans were supplied. The beach was very close which was nice with a toddler and the pool was lovely.

Paradise:) Came to HHI for my daughters wedding at Palmetto Dunes House. The house on 12 Whelk St took our breath away. From exterior to interior, it;s beauty is overwhelming. When entering you immediately feel at home. The views of the ocean are incredible. It was everything we wanted it to be and more. Hats off to the staff at HH Rent Direct. You made it so easy. Elevator was useful for loading and unloading, but we didn’t use it daily as it was pretty slow. Very convenient to the beach which was not the least bit overcrowded. Nice layout.

The house has a very nice layout We had 4 families and it worked great. Everyone had their own balcony but there isn’t one big enough for everyone. It’s close to the beach stores and restaurants. The boardwalk doesn’t go all the way so move fast on the hot sand. The house was very clean and well taken care of. We would have liked a pantry to put food in instead of on the counter. Plenty of room in the frig and freezer which we sometimes struggle with. We had a very nice trip.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location marred by dishwasher and dryer failures, no hot water in MBR one day and dodgy oven. Not enough beds and bedrooms for two couples and 5 single adults. Needs deep cleaned especially pool level. Property management was very responsive during Thanksgiving holiday

Really nice experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great experience for my family. Nice property and location. Short walk to the beach. The only time we had a concern was when we couldn't get enough hot water for the jacuzzi tub. After calling management a plumber was sent out and both hot water heaters were replaced. Problem solved. We plan to go back in the future.

July 2017 Stay

The house is large and spacious, which easily accommodated our large family without feeling like we are on top of one another. The construction next door is very close and unfortunate and does take up what was one probably a fantastic view, but we knew that going in and received a discount. We are beach bums and spend most of our time there, so other than being inside during poor weather or at night, it didn't really effect us too much. The great thing about this house is the proximity to the beach. The walkway is feet away and makes it very convenient. The pool isn't large but was fine for our kids to splash around in.
