The house was perfect, host was accommodating and very knowledgeable of the area. The pool and view were fantastic; we were amazed by Crete, the history and the kind people we met. 5 stars!!!

Fantastic property and a very attentive host. One of the best spots in the island. He was quick to help with anything we needed and the place is absolutely lovely.Guest room bed was very uncomfortable was my only complaint and he took steps to address that even if the solution didn’t arrive one time.Is definitely go back.

What a wonderful property, in a wonderful location with an amazing host. This house is perfect for those seeking true rest and relaxation, house has a beautiful pool, and overlooks a stunning vista down to the coast. Just a walk or short drive to many great restaurants & beaches. The property is also really well located for Chania, Kissasmos, and all the historic sights on this Western side of Crete. Panagiotis is a wonderful host, with an amazing knowledge of literature and Greek History and language, he'll be able to educate you! He could not have done more to make sure our stay was perfect.We'll definitely be going back at some point. Highly recommend!

Alex and his wonderful family were the perfect guests to host. Apart from being communicative and friendly, they respected the home and left everything spotless. They are always welcome back to what may be their home away from home.

Beautiful, comfortable, relaxing stay!

The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained. The view is incredible! We loved the location and the pool was used a lot! The host is wonderfully friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed Arialkis so much and we are planning to return in the future! If you want to stay near Chania, Crete... this is a perfect place for 4-6 people! Highly recommend!

Perfect family holiday at Villa Arialkis – wonderful host, fantastic heated pool!We spent an unforgettable family holiday at Villa Arialkis and can recommend it wholeheartedly. The house is ideal for families: spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished, with stunning views over the olive groves, the sea and the mountains. The highlight for all of us was the heated infinity pool – the kids hardly wanted to get out. The BBQ area under the pergola was perfect for long evenings and amazing sunsets.Our host Panagiotis is outstanding. He is extremely kind, warm and helpful, always available when we had a question and full of great tips for exploring the area. You can tell how much he loves Crete and enjoys sharing it with his guests.The location is an excellent base for discovering western Crete. From the villa we made several wonderful day trips: the breathtaking Balos Lagoon, the famous pink sands of Elafonisi Beach, and beautiful hikes in the mountains. Coming back to the villa and jumping into the warm pool after a long day out was the perfect end to every trip.Thank you, Panagiotis, for making our stay so special – we would love to come back!

What a wonderful family to host! It was really gratifying to see them making the most of their stay and enjoying the villa. Friendly, communicative and giving. Wonderful villa just outside Chania

My family and I spent three nights in this lovely villa - about a 25 minute drive from Chania. The property was easy to find and was as described. Communication/check-in with the host was also very easy. The villa was clean with all regular amenities. The pool was just fabulous. Panagiotis was a great host - when we asked for dinner recommendations he went above and beyond and actually made a dinner reservation for my family at the loveliest restaurant. Would highly recommend this properly to anybody looking for a relaxing stay.

Excellent Stay at Villa Arialkis

My 11 year old daughter and I wanted a mother/daughter month abroad and are so fortunate that we happened upon Villa Arialkis on VRBO and that it was available. The villa is just remote enough, while remaining a quick, five minute, drive to Maleme Beach which feels much more authentic and is dramatically quieter than the nearby Platanias and Agia Marina which are constantly swarming with tourists and buses. It was truly a beautiful respite. Most importantly, as two female travelers, we always felt safe and secure there and the owner was a quick phone call or text away if we ever needed anything. We were quite sad to leave the Villa and hope to return again someday.

The loveliest house

We had a lovely stay at this beautifully appointed villa - a very special house indeed. The owner went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and give us tips on what to do. You need a car but the location is away from it all and incredibly relaxing.

A fantastic holiday in the sun with a great pool and view

We loved our stay and will return. We loved the villa and its facilities. A great pool, BBQ and outdoor dining area, all with a fantastic view of the sea and lots of sun. We stayed for 10 days and wished we could have stayed for longer. The main villa (there is an annex also which we didn't rent) was the perfect size for my wife and I and our friend who joined us, but can easily accommodate additional persons. Our host is the owner (not a management company) and was friendly and informative, wanting to make our experience relaxed and enjoyable, and respected our privacy. It is about a 25min walk down to the beach and 25-35min walk to local restaurants - but taxies also readily available if you want to go into Platanios or Chania. We loved our stay and look forward to returning in the future
