Villa Descanso offers the best of island living with spacious rooms, open balconies overlooking the Caribbean Sea and all the amenities to make your vacation special. The Villa has 3 bedrooms, 3 and a half bathrooms and towering vaulted hardwood ceilings with ceiling fans.. Wide glass doors open to spacious balconies off the main living room and the bedrooms. Every bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom.

The Villa is fully Air Conditioned, has a complete kitchen and comes with cable TV, free High Speed Internet and all appliances.

The Villa also has an onsite Concierge that is available to make any arrangements for excursions, tours or reservations.
Each Villa is a spacious luxury private residence with stunning beach views, huge vaulted ceilings, native wood cabinetry and patios over looking the beach and pool. The Villa has 3 bedrooms and 3 and a half bathrooms and is built for comfort and relaxation.

The Villa Descanso is fully appointed with a full kitchen, Air Conditioning in all rooms and all modern amenities, hot and cold water, cable TV and more. The Villa is part of Seascape Villas, a residential community with a full time Concierge and maintenance staff.

Our location, on the beach, at 3.5 miles from town gives us the advantage of being a short Golf Cart drive from the bustle of San Pedro as well as close to Secret Beach, the popular beach destination that has developed on the west side of the island. But, we are far enough away that nothing intrudes on the quiet serenity of the sea breezes and sound of the surf.

As a special touch, we’re pleased to offer free local transportation on both your arrival and departure day — from San Pedro Airport or Water Taxi Terminal directly to the resort, and back again at the end of your stay. Just let us know your travel details in advance, and we’ll handle the rest!

The Caye is a gourmet's paradise with plenty of restaurants and bars close by, many a short walk down the beach or a short Golf Cart drive away. Native Belizean food, American fusion, Asian, we have it all!

Finally, if you just want to be catered to we can arrange for private chef services to prepare the meal of your choice right in your Villa.

Amazing stay

We visited for a week with 2 families (4 adults and 4 small children) and we had an absolute blast! The property manager was extremely attentive and helped us book activities and an amazing home chef. The pool was fantastic for the kids. Highly recommend.

Seascape Villas

This resort was a great place to stay for the whole family. It's a nice location, north of the city of San Pedro to where we had privacy but not too far to access by golf cart. There is beautiful decor inside of the villa and only steps away from the beach. I would recommend staying here!

Magical Island Vacation

This home was genuinely the perfect location for our interests on the island. Centrally located near our favorite spots. The house itself was more than enough for our group of seven and truly lovely. The team that worked on property was prompt and kind with all communication, and the pool was great. 10/10 would stay here again.

Amazing! Worth it.

We stayed for 4 nights and had the greatest time. The wind was blowing so Zoby kept checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, who to talk to regarding excursions, etc. The location is out of the action of downtown, which was perfect for us. A short golf cart ride to shop or do things, but then go back to your secluded paradise.

Family Vacation in Belize

This property was the perfect place for our family vacation in Ambergis Caye. The property have everything we wanted for a quiet family vacation. We were far enough from San Pedro to avoid the traffic and crowds but close enough to enjoy the amenities (bars, restaurants, and shops). A golf cart was a must and it was great to have this arranged by our host. Transportation to and from the airport was also arranged by our host without any issues. When we come back we will definently book this property again.

65th Birthday Family Vacation

From the moment I clicked on this property I knew it was a strong possibility for our family vacation. The personal responses from the property owner and the property manager made my decision even easier. We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful villa with manicured grounds, a pristine pool, great location and personal attention to all of our vacation needs. Relaxing Island Escale

Seascape Villas is wonderful place to stay when visiting San Pedro. It’s quiet and serene a great location not too far from San Pedro Town or Secret Beach. We stayed in Villa Descanso and it was fantastic for our family to all get to stay together. The Villa was beautifully decorated and provided easy access to the pool and the beach. The staff at Seascape Villas, especially Zoby, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything to make our vacation great. Zoby arranged transportation to and from the airport (and other resorts on the island for some in our party), handled golf cart rentals, arranged excursions, and was extremely responsive both before and during our stay.

Great home base

My family and I stayed in this property for a week in June. It was a great spot for a multi generational family vacation. We rented golf carts through the property management and they were gassed up and ready to go when we got there. The kitchen was great to have in the morning to get ready at our own pace. We spent the days out doing snorkeling trips, one I booked by myself and 1 I booked through the property management (this one we were picked up from the property dock). We were convenient to Secret Beach. And wound up spending a day at the truck stop, a food truck park with games and a pool. The living room was a great space for us to crash at night and watch a movie together. The evenings we didnt want to go out for dinner, someone would golf carts down the road to the dancing lobster and grab delicious take out. We used the property kayaks and enjoyed the covered dock.

Terrific seaside home in Belize

Villa Descanso is a wonderful house north of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. It is one of 6 similar homes clustered around a spectacular swimming pool with great views of the ocean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great restaurants are located nearby, though it's hard to imagine getting around without a golf cart - which the staff was happy to prearrange for us - it was waiting for us upon arrival. The house is not far from the little road that takes one westward over to Secret Beach, which is a must-do at least one day for anyone visiting the island. We did 2 days of scuba diving, 1 day of snorkeling, 1 day of fishing and 2-3 other days of visiting Secret Beach and just enjoying the house and its pool. It was our first trip to Ambergris Caye, and I am glad that we stayed north of San Pedro. The town was a bit crowded and noisy, whereas this house was located in a quiet and tranquil spot. No complaints at all. We enjoyed a terrific stay.

Fantastic Villa In Paradise!

Seascape Villas is beyond fantastic. The pictures don't do it justice. It is even more beautiful in person. The grounds and pool are pristine! The villa itself lacks nothing. Everything you might need is there and all of it is of good quality. Furthermore, the onsite concierge, Lupe, is wonderful. Anything you might need or any excursion you might want to do, she will take care of it for you. Our daughter ended up getting an ear infection while we were down there and Lupe was able to get us in to see a doctor right away. She was fantastic! I can truly say that in all the times my family has visited Ambergris Caye this is undoubtedly the most beautiful villa we have experienced.

Wonderful getaway in Belize

Villa Descanso at Seascape Villas was wonderful! The property was beautiful, clean, and located conveniently between San Pedro and Secret Beach. The owner of the Villa provided great information on things to do locally, and was very communicative throughout the entire process. The property manager and her staff were so helpful and went above and beyond. They took care of booking our flights from Belize City to/from San Pedro, pick-up from/to the airport, booking of golf carts, and booking of any excursions we wanted. They were just as attentive to our needs through our entire 5 nigh stay. The property has it's own dock where boat excursions can pick you up from. The pool became our nightly hang out and is a nice highlight to the property. It was a great spot to recap the day, enjoy a drink, and stargaze. We didn't take advantage of the kayaks, bike, and other recreational items available at the property since we were mostly out and about exploring Belize, but it was nice knowing we had the option I highly recommend this property, and hope to visit again very soon!

Excellent Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a group of six adults. Villa five was a wonderful rental. We had a perfect and unobstructed view of the reef. The villa had everything we needed, including plenty of towels and blankets. The kitchen was not missing anything. Lupe was very friendly and very good at scheduling our excursions. The weather was questionable on one of our excursion days and she kept in close contact with us and the tour company. Our excursion was ultimately canceled but Lupe quickly scheduled another one for us.. The daily maid service was great and basically invisible. I would highly recommend these villas if you are looking for a quiet and private getaway in an upscale Villa

Belize it, we will be back!

My husband and I as well as our two adult children and their spouses had the best time at Seascape. Lupe is amazingly helpful, so willing to accommodate any request or question. All the staff was delightful. The food in San Pedro is fabulous. We rode bikes, fished, swam, played volleyball and just relaxed. Seascape is in a great location - easy golfcart ride to town and restaurants as well as Secret Beach. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.

Seascape Villa Descanso is a wonderful place to stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Seascape Villa Descanso was heaven to stay in! We enjoyed the pool, tennis court, and beach. We even had a nice yoga session on the large dock. Location is a short drive to San Pedro to the south and Secret Beach to the west. Might have to make our stay here an annual event!

Best Birthday Belizean Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We all had a fantastic time in Belize. The home where we stayed was not only beautiful, but in a great location. It was perfect for our family of 6 allowing both privacy for sleeping and a large space for family time. The kitchen/eating area was well equipped and the heart of our stay. The pool area and grounds were well maintained and beautiful. Lupe and her staff were OUTSTANDING. They all went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Lupe was so professional and wonderful! She booked all of our activities, excursions, etc. and was always available to answer our questions and assist us.

Wonderful time in Belize

We enjoyed every bit of our stay in Peter & Barbara’s villa. The home was beautiful with a gorgeous view & incredibly private pool. Peter was very helpful & communicative. Lupe makes everything run smoothly. One of the best vacations of our lives!

Wonderful experience!

This was our first time to Belize and our stay at Villa Descanso was absolutely amazing! The property itself is beautifully maintained with lots of palm trees and lush landscaping. There are 6 properties onsite at Seascape Villas. Our's, Villa Descanso, was perfect for our family of 5. We had everything we needed from beach towels, games, movies and a perfectly stocked kitchen. I should also mention that all of our beds were very comfortable! The most important part of this property is Lupe, the concierge who lives on-site. She is the sweetest, most kind person and is a native Belizean. She knows the in's and out's of the island and will help you with all of your arrangements. We went scuba diving while we there and she put us in touch with the best outfit on the island. There are many to choose from and sometimes that can be very overwhelming. She guided us to the best restaurants and told how to "grocery shop" when we went to town. Grocery shopping is an adventure in itself! Lupe is THE BEST and will make your stay in San Pedro that much better! This is an amazing property and we highly recommend it! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to San Pedro!
