Hammock house was our home away from home for almost 2 weeks. The host was an excellent communicator, answered all questions and was very accommodating. The pool/hot tub were both clean and warm with some pool floats provided.The master king bed was super comfy. Plenty of bathrooms and beds for everyone, even my daughters stuffed animals. Lots of dishes and towels to use. Be sure to bring trash bags, TP, and dish soap if staying longer, as we needed more what was provided and just a sude note, the pool table is dated, doesnt seem level, so dont expect to play good game but the kids still enjoyed it. Would definitely stay again.

I would absolutely stay here again! The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating, especially when we needed to add an extra day to our stay, they made the process seamless and stress-free. The pool was very well heated, and we especially loved relaxing in the hot tub after long days at the parks (22min. max). The location of the home is another huge plus: it’s close enough to the parks for convenience, yet far enough away to avoid the hectic crowds. We never had to deal with long, 30-minute drives just to run to the store, which made our stay even more enjoyable and comfortable

Great Home for 2 Couples with Children

This home is great for 2 families. We enjoyed having 2 Master Suites and the kids loved the children’s rooms. The pool and game room was a bonus. Communication with the Owner was great.

Perfect Family Villa – Comfortable, Peaceful & Well-LocatedWe’ve just returned from a fantastic stay at this villa - it truly felt like a home comfort away from home. The beds were very comfortable, and the sofa was amazing for relaxing after busy days, probably the best we’ve had on any holiday!The pool was a big highlight for our daughters, and the villa had everything we needed to fully enjoy our time as a family.The location was ideal for exploring the Orlando area, yet it’s in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood so peaceful and relaxing.Communication with Piers was excellent from start to finish, he always responded quickly and was very helpful. Not bad, just not amazing

First of all I have to say that this property is as advertised in the sense of the pictures etc and was clean and presentable. The kitchen could have had a few more practicalities like trays for the oven for the quick pizza meals that we wanted and I would happily have forgone the beautiful napkins and napkin rings for this. It is indeed only 10 miles ish from most of the major parks etc. The downside of it was that 10miles equates to 45mins to an hour drive to any of the parks at any time day or night. The area that it is in is what we felt was a little off. This is definitely a private residential area as opposed to any form of holiday park and as such we did have instances of extremely loud music from a couple of properties around as well as v loud barking dogs, revving car engines and even some fighting neighbours. Also, with the close proximity of the other properties it felt to us a little awkward when we were having rest days between park days to relax. Perhaps a privacy screen would have helped? Overall, it was okay for what we needed, just not quite ideal.

Winter getaway.

We thought the property was good, plenty of room. We had some issues with the pool and hot tub heater but the caretakers helped and the owner gave a discount on the fee. The only suggestions we would have would be to spend a few dollars on the following: a coffee maker, current one is small and took forever, a coffee table, we used one of the end tables, new rug in front of sofa, better pans with at least one cover. These are just minor improvements but nothing major. All appliances worked fine, having a washer dryer and dishwasher were so convenient. A great house especially if you bring a family or grandkids. There are a lot of families with kids and pets in the neighborhood so it was a litter noisy but didn’t bother us. Overall it was a very nice house for the price. Thank you Piers and Denise!

Awesome spot!!

What a great home away from home. This house is super cozy, so so clean, spacious and so well equipped for a short or extended vacation. We absolutely loved our stay. Hosts were so great to deal with. Number of bathrooms were so great for a large family and the beds are actually comfortable! I don't think I've ever slept so great while on vacation.A few cons: although the location in miles is close to everything....if you're there during the week forget about getting anywhere in under 45 minutes. Gatorland is mapped at 25 minutes, it took us 1 hour and 10. So be prepared, things are a good distance and it takes forever to get there. For Canadian travellers, if it's at all below 60 degrees don't pay for the pool heating you will waste your money it doesn't work. Keep an eye on the weather forecast, keep this in mind. My understanding is this is common for Florida pool heaters so it's not the hosts fault obviously but just wouldn't want someone to waste 300 like we did for an ice cold pool and hot tub.Overall we felt safe and we loved the home!! Definitely recommend for sure!!

Lovely house, great for two families

We had such a brilliant time in Orlando this Christmas. (Visiting from the UK). This property was brilliant for our trip. We were two families sharing the property which worked so well as there are two "master" bedrooms with ensuites and then two "kids" rooms with two single beds in each.Kitchen/Dining/living downstairs was great - lots of space for all 7 of us. Pool area also brilliant, we had lots of fun. Huge washing machine and tumble dryer which made such a difference being able to have a quick laundry turnaround time especially with young kids.Hosts were so brilliant, really responsive even on Christmas Eve in a different timezone which was so above and beyond what we expected. Great communication and so responsive when we changed our mind during our trip and asked to have the pool heated after all. It was sorted so quickly with a local contact all organised by hosts. Very impressed. We definitely hope to return someday and would absolutely stay again.

Great Location For Disney!

Hammock House is brilliantly located for Disney. You can drive it in less than four Taylor Swift songs (thanks to my teenage daughter). The villa is clean, wonderful air con, a great pool to relax in, huge comfy beds, everything works. We felt really at home. Piers was great to deal with and communication was excellent.

We went on holiday to our favourite destination and ended up falling in love with this house.

Property is on the quiet Sandy Ridge development and located in a cul de sac which was important to us as we have young grandchildren. The property is minutes from Disney and has local supermarket and restaurants close by. The pool area is south west facing so maximises the afternoon and evening sunshine.
