In Moulin-sur-Mer trifft der Charme der Altstadt auf modernen Pariser Chic. Ein wunderschönes, frisch renoviertes, geräumiges, klimatisiertes, mit WIFI ausgestattetes Luxus-Apartment mit drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern für sechs Personen.

Das Moulin-sur-Mer genießt eine ideale Lage in der historischen Altstadt von Nizza mit Cafés, provenzalischen Märkten und Restaurants im Freien. Die azurblauen Mittelmeerstrände an der berühmten Promenade des Anglais erreichen Sie in weniger als 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Es liegt auch günstig in der Nähe des Flughafen-Shuttlebusses, der Straßenbahn und des SNCF-Bahnhofs von Nizza.

Das Hotel liegt in der Rue du Moulin, einer ruhigen Fußgängerzone, im dritten Stock eines traditionellen Gebäudes in der Altstadt von Niçoise. Die Wohnung wurde gerade von einem Pariser, jetzt in Nizza ansässigen Innenarchitekten, Severine Pilot, komplett renoviert und neu eingerichtet. Es wurde darauf geachtet, die schönen traditionellen Elemente wie Marmorverkleidungen und verzierte Gesimse zu bewahren und die Wohnung in ein Designer-Zuhause zu verwandeln. Das Apartment wurde sowohl in Art & Decoration als auch in Marie Claire Maison, 2 der größten französischen Innenarchitekturmagazine, gezeigt. Moulin-Sur-Mer wird durch die vielen traditionellen Niçoise-Fensterläden mit Tageslicht durchflutet und verfügt über einen hübschen umlaufenden Balkon, auf dem Sie einen Aperitif genießen können, während Sie die Welt auf dem kleinen französischen Platz beobachten. Wenn Sie in dieser Wohnung wohnen, werden Sie im Herzen von allem sein und dennoch viel Privatsphäre und Intimität bewahren.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the friendly and vibrant area. The flat was very comfortable and situated centrally, close to shops, fun restaurants and the promenade. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed use of the kitchen and clothes washer. We also very much appreciated being greeted upon our arrival. Communication with our hosts was prompt and helpful. Would 100% recommend and would definitely book again.

Location, Location, Location! This is Old Town Nice so expect historical buildings etc., the stairs are a bit of a challenge but the apartment is great, we loved sitting on the small balcony ( really only 2 can sit on balcony) and enjoyed watching the world go by! Short walk to fresh market and beach. We were there 5 weeks and it was very comfortable. Host is amazing and always available to help.

Family visit in winter

Our family of 4 (parents and 2 adult daughters) stayed for a week here in January and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is very well located in the old town, near restaurants, cafés, the Promenade des Anglais, beach and also the tramway.

My parents and kids and I stayed for 8 nights in June and we loved it. The apartment is clean, updated and well equipped. The location is fantastic. Our host was available and helpful and we loved our time in Nice!

Great location and so cozy!

Location is fantastic - close to all the favorite spots. Market, Mediterranean, restaurants and transportation. Felt like our own home, so cozy and comfortable the apartment has everything you need to make a memorable stay. Host is amazing!

Perfect spot

My family and I spent 5 nights in this fantastic apartment. It has a wonderful location, and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We were traveling with my one year old daughter so I was worried about how quiet the rooms would be, but the whole space was surprisingly sound proof. We could watch a movie in the living room and hardly hear her singing in her bed. It was a wonderful trip and I can’t recommend this property enough!

Beautiful Apartment

The apartment was beautiful. It was also in a great location and made it easy to get to restaurant and beach. Located in Old Nice, which was beautiful. The apartment had many amenities, that made our stay comfortable. Our only complaint was Apartment was located in the 3rd floor and made it a challenge with luggage since the stairs were the only option.

Old Town Gem

Lovely refurbished apartment in old town building. Very central, AC in every room, good showers. Steps from shops, restaurants, tram, beach. Things to note; it’s up 3 flights of stairs, and at a busy pedestrian intersection, but once windows closed at night there’s little background noise. Great communication.

Lovely place in the city center

We spend 4 beautiful days in this lovely apartment. The house was fully equipped and in a great location. However, it has few issues such as the insulte bathroom has no toilet and the apartment is in a third floor with no elevator. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and Carl was a fantastic host, always helpful and available!

Lovely stay in a great apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nice in the lovely apartment, which was well equipped and had very comfortable beds. The air conditioning was invaluable in the very hot weather. The location of the property was super, so close to the daily markets, the sea, the promenade, the tram, trains and buses, The only thing we won’t miss is the 3 flights of stairs, but they will have done us good ! Wonderful flat in wonderful Nice

It was a totally exhilarating experience: Ivan & Claire were perfect and very helpful hosts, and the flat left no wishes open; it was clean, stylish, spacious. We are a family of six, and it was simply perfectly suited to us; with oven, microwave, coffee machine (Nespresso), dishwasher, washing machine etc. It was also fitted with all the facilities and appliances anyone might need. The Nice beach is at a walking distance, the park as well, and one is right in the heart of the old town … Great location! We plan to visit again.

Superb location and accommodation in Old Nice

Most comfortable beds and linens, beautiful bathrooms, well appointed kitchen makes this a delightful place to spend your holiday. Make yourself at home in this fabulous location. Easy to arrive by tram from either train station or airport. Exceptional restaurants nearby and sea less than 5 minute walk. One evening during our 5 day stay there was noise from a local discotech but nothing our white noise maker couldn't handle. Carl and Frances who met us both very helpful and very quick responses to questions. They made our stay more delightful than if we ventured it alone. Great local tips.

Great find! We would love to come back!

We stayed for almost a month, 3 adults, 2 kids. The setup was very comfortable, beds are comfortable, location is great, right in the middle of everything. Apartment has high speed internet (I worked remotely with big files and speed was not an issue at all, I think apartment has 6G network). The hosts are amazing, super responsive, very helpful, gave us great suggestions on the things to do/see and places to go. Everything is very comfortable and tastefully done. I definitely recommend and would love to come back. It was our home away from home. We didn’t want to leave.

This house was absolutely perfect!

We have stayed at several vacation homes throughout France. This home was incredible. The pictures to not even do it justice. It’s way larger than the pictures perceive. The homes was the perfect size for me, my husband, our two boys, and my mother. The decoration was so beautiful and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Everything we needed was in the home. There is no need to rent a car because everything is within walking distance. I wish we had stayed here longer.

Gem in the Old Town

The apartment was wonderful. It was in a great location, nicely-decorated, well-equipped, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The balcony was great for enjoying morning coffee and evening wine and just watching the world go by. Our arrival was quite delayed due to flight issues but Carl kept in constant contact, graciously met us at 1 am and took time to carefully explain the apartment and give us ideas for things to do and places to go. When we lost wifi mid-week, he cut short a bike trip to come and fix it for us. We are so glad to have found this gem in the old town!

Great location, great accommodations

This is a wonderful apartment and one of the best homes we have ever stayed at with VRBO. It is very clean and has all the things one needs to make it a home away from home. The kitchen is set up with purpose and has everything needed to make a homemade meal. Claire and Carl had left a sleeve of Nespresso coffee, muffins, a chilled bottle of rosé, and fresh flowers which added a welcoming touch. The balcony is great to drink coffee on in the morning and watch the shops set up for the day. This is perfectly located in the middle of everything: the beach, the parks, buses/train stops, cours saleya, restaurants, and shops! We had such a memorable family vacation here! Check-in was quick and we got great advice on things to do and amazing places to eat. The apartment is well designed and furnished and we hope to be back one day.

Nice apartment in a very convenient location

The location of the apartment in the old town is very convenient. Beware, there are about 50 steps to get to the apartment, so it is advisable to travel light. The apartment is nicely decorated, comfortable and fairly spacious. It is nicely equipped with all that is needed for a short stay. Check-in and check-out were very easy and Frances was very accommodating . She was very flexible when we needed to change our departure time and made arrangements for a taxi when we left. Once slight inconvenient was that the internet connection is a bit slow and works best in the living room area. The stairway is under much needed repairs but does not seem to be getting anywhere fast. Despite this, I highly recommend for others to stay and would consider renting again.

Exquisite design and great location

A lovely property that has been designed thoughtfully . The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens are excellent quality . Bathrooms are exceptionally well done and bigger than most bathrooms of any French rentals . In suite washer and dryer was most convenient as we were on a long trip and travelling light . Remarkably little scent used on the property which made for an extremely pleasant experience sleeping ( I have asthma and am very allergic to scent) . A fantastic location ( the best , and we have visited Nice many times ) . Just steps to the market and the promenade , shopping and countless bars and restaurants . Owners and guardianne were exceptionally polite , kind and quick to respond to all inquiries . This property is professionally decorated and extremely well managed . Carl and Claire were so very kind to us and we would not hesitate to recommend this property . We look forward a return visit again in the future . Deborah , BC, Canada

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Old Town

We had a lovely stay at Carl's apartment in Nice. Prior to our arrival, Carl's communication was prompt and clear. He was able to recommend a great babysitter for our one-year-old that we used throughout the trip. He met us upon arrival and helped us carry our bags and settle in. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We had everything we needed for ourselves and our son for our two week stay. We especially appreciated the A/C during a heatwave that came with our arrival. The location is fantastic--close to all of the attractions of old town and a tram stop. We went out to dinner most nights at the great restaurants nearby (especially recommend Bar des Oiseaux, right around the corner). For our son, we appreciated being so close to a wonderful playground and splash park. There is some street noise at night, but the soundproofing on the windows is good. And you will get a workout with the 4 flights of stairs, but it felt worth it for us. We would definitely recommend this great apartment and host!

Fantastic apartment in Old Town

The apartment is wonderfully decorated, fully remodeled, spotlessly clean and in a fantastic old town location. Close to all the old town action, tram station, restaurants, boulangerie, beach and playground/splash pad. Air conditioning in every room including the bedrooms. Wonderful linens, extra towels (including wash cloths) and beach towels/bags. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to cook and clean. Large bedrooms and spacious bathrooms. The apartment also includes a normal sized washer with a completely separate DRYER (a rarity in old town ... not the crazy Parisian combo washer/dryer but a real honest separate dryer like you have in your own home). If you're driving and thinking of doing a lot of driving side trips, we parked at the Corvesy parking garage. It's just a few blocks further than the closer parking garage, but they had a weekly rate with unlimited in and out privileges. After you take your ticket and park, you can then purchase a weekly pass from the Corvesy parking garage office by the elevators.

5 Days in Nice

Couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more at Carls Apartment. We stayed for 5 days of a 10 day France trip. Nathalie met us at the apt exactly at check in time and showed us around as well as answering our questions on things to do, travel options, etc. When you first walk in the hallway it definitely lives up to “old town nice” but once you make it up the stairs to the 3rd floor it changes. The Apt is very modern and well furnished. There are 3 bedrooms and each has its own climate control, which is very convenient. The washer and dryer are small but do the job. The apt was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There is 1 TV in the living room and had Netflix, Amazon Prime and found a few English news channels. Carl left a book with everything explained in detail (with pictures) on how to use the appliances, TV, and stove which made everything easy. Anytime we had any questions, Carl was quick to respond. The location is right in the middle of old town and everything is right there. The only negative was the train station is a good 15-20 minute walk unless you take the tram but it’s a safe walk and plenty of stores and scenery along the way. The beach is only a few blocks away and there is a huge daily market there that we went to every morning for fresh croissants and fruits. Less than an hour from Italy and Ventimiglia is definitely worth a day trip. We have done quite a few rentals and have to say this was one of our most enjoyable trips and Carl was a great host.
