RESIDANCE PALAIS DE LA MEDITERRANEE

Possibly the best address in Nice, the Residences of the exclusive Palais de la Mediterarnee. The apartment is situated in a beautiful courtyard garden with direct access to the Promenade des Anglais on one side and within a minutes walk to the famous pedestrianised zone on the other. If you are looking for both a central yet tranquil location then this apartment is for you! Furnished to a high standard in a contemporary style which is both elegant and comfortable. The property has two double bedrooms each with their own balconies. The master bedroom has its own en-suite with full bath and shower and WC. Just off the second bedroom you have a shower room and a separate WC. The kitchen is fully fitted providing an electric oven & hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, lots of extras for your use are included. The kitchen has access to a balcony so you choose where to have your croissant and coffee for breakfast. The lounge has two sofas and dining area that seats six.

Parking can be arranged subject to availability, although there is a charge of 15 euros per day or part thereof.
Please request in advance.

Additional Information:
Please bring your own beach towels, however, there are beach mats and sunshades available for our guests use and they are located in the cloakroom cupboard.


Check-in and Check-out: On arrival and departure you will meet our representative, who will check you in and out.
We ask you not to arrive before 4PM on the day of arrival and to vacate the apartment by 10AM when you leave. This ensures the apartment can be cleaned and prepared for the next guests. By prior arrangement suitcases can usually be left if you arrive early or depart late. If we do not have a same day changeover then it may be possible to be a little flexible with times.

Please note this is a NON SMOKING property, although guests may smoke on the balconies only.

Really nice place

Our third, most enjoyable time here in Nice. We would choose to stay here whenever we visited. Everything is at land like shops, the beach, restaurants, etc. The apartment ist very comfy and well equipped. Our many thanks to Pat who is so welcoming and friendly. Tolle Lage

Gute Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage nahe der Promenade. Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist gerade ausreichend. Leider gibt es auf dem großen Balkon keinen Esstisch. Einzelne Stühle waren instabil. Für 4 Personen ist die Wohnung perfekt.

The check in was really well executed and our English speaking greeter was very thorough in describing not only the apartment but the surrounding neighborhoods (thank you Pat!). Transportation to the unit/neighborhood couldn’t be much easier. It’s close to bus, metro and only a short walk from the train station. The kitchen is perfect for the two bedroom unit and the balconies make for relaxing evenings. WiFi access is fast and easy to use. The washing machine works perfectly. We were lucky to be traveling with another couple and the space was great for that. We would happily stay here again if our kids are in town at the same time.

Wonderful home base in Nice!

We spent the month of April in Nice, and June’s place was the best possible choice we could have made. We were met by Pat, who introduced us to the apartment and the surrounding area. The gift of fresh baguette, wine and cheese was also lovely and very welcome. We had a roomy, comfortable space with two balconies, and all conveniences we could have required. We really appreciated the quiet of the building, and enjoyed sitting outside, sipping our morning coffee, overlooking the gardens below, and listening to the birds. In a moment we could leave the building and stroll down the Promenade des Anglais or Rue de France. We were an easy 12 minute walk to the main train station (Nice Ville), important as we made several trips to surrounding towns such as Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Menton, Antibes and Monaco. The local buses and trams were also easily accessible. There were grocers and pharmacies all within close range, as well as several patisseries, a butcher, a wonderful fromagerie, not to mention dozens of incredible restaurants literally just outside our door. Thanks for the great communication prior to and during our trip, and for having Pat available in Nice. We look forward to returning soon!

Confort et emplacement stratégique

Appartement très confortable et très bien placé. Tout est accessible à pied ou presque. Parking indispensable ! Attention car le prix de la location est annoncé en et on paye en les propriétaires étant anglais. Avec les frais bancaires cela nous a coûté 100 de plus. Nous avons été accueillis par Rikke une amie des propriétaires qui est absolument adorable et d’une extrême gentillesse.

Excellent location, secure and spacious haven

The apartment is located in the gated residences behind the 5* Hotel Palais de la Mediterranee in a secure and secluded garden complex which offers access either straight onto the Promenade or the bustling Rue de France. It is a 10 minute walk to Place Messena and 15 minutes or so to the old town or Nice station. The apartment is well presented, very clean and comfortable. The rooms are airy and all of a very good size. The large balcony off the lounge and master bedroom catches the afternoon sun and has seating for 8. The kitchen balcony is lovely for breakfast. There are some useful additions such as beach chairs and sun umbrellas available. We slept very soundly as all rooms have shutters and the beds are good quality. Communication with the helpful local agent was excellent (the owner also responded to any questions promptly prior to our visit). A tourist information office is close by on the Promenade and if required, the 12 bus to the airport stops almost outside the Hotel. (tickets can be bought on the bus or at the Tabac just to the right). There are several city supermarkets 2/4 minutes away and restaurants all along the Rue de France and the Promenade. It is an ideal location and we had a wonderful stay. My only comment to improve our experience would be an upgrade to some of the kitchen equipment, although we appreciated the efficient dishwasher and washing machine. We would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Amazing host and place

The title doesn't lie - the location is amazing. Steps to the beach (close enough to pop over for a quick dip) as well as shops, patisseries, restaurants - everything you could need. Our stay began with a personal tour from Pat, who also offered great advice for things to do. The space is charming and comfortable, feeling like home. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace off of the kitchen, and reading on the couches on the second terrace. There was plenty of space for the three of us so we never felt on top of each other. If I had to find one fault, it would be that a couple of doors "stuck" due to the humidity, so you can see I'm having to get nitpicky to find any faults with this place. If I come back to Nice, which I hope to do, I am 100% contacting Pat to book this place again. Thanks so much, Pat, for such a wonderful time!

Family of 5 in the South of France

This was a great property to stay at. We ended our 13 Euro city tour here and it was delightful. Directly across the street to the beaches of Nice, close to all points of interest, and 25 min from Monte Carlo by car. The property itself was super clean and comfortable. My 3 kids had a great time and there was plenty of room for all of us. Pat was a delight and so was the property.

Just the right amount of everything.

Thank you June and Pat for opening your apartment up to us, it was a perfect way for us to decompress following a 8 day guided tour. The place met both our expectations and the location is perfect for getting involved with city life and also avoiding it if you need a break. we both liked the "backdoor" that opens up the the Med. Pat, thank you very much for all your help in getting us settled in and also with arranging our transportation to airport when the time came to so long. The description of the property is spot on. Only issue we had was deciding which one of the corkscrews worked faster. Loved the place and would stay again.
