I would add that I answered all your messages in English and within a minute, even late in the evening. I make it a point of honor to respond to each request as soon as possible. I can understand that this apartment is not suitable for you, but do not blame me for the lack of preparation for your stay. You have not studied the ad enough, this studio in this typical restored 17th century Alfama building is not for you. A brand new hotel would be more in line with your level of requirement …. but perhaps more in your prices!

Je suis heureuse que vous ayez apprécié l'emplacement de cet appartement, c'est effectivement son point fort. Je vous ai demandé à plusieurs reprises si tout allait bien pour vous sans jamais recevoir de réponse. C'est dommage car si j'avais été alertée je serais intervenue auprès de vos voisins particulièrement bruyants lors de votre séjour. Le non respect des règles de bon voisinage est un motif d'annulation de séjour, ce seul argument permet de régler ce désagrément...et vous aurait permis de passer un agréable séjour.

Je suis désolée d’apprendre que vos voisins ont été bruyants, je ne maîtrise pas ce paramètre, mais ils auraient certainement fait des efforts s’ils avaient été informés de la gêne qu’ils occasionnaient, par vous ou par moi ( si vous m’aviez alerté sur ce point). En effet, toutes les habitations de l’Alfama sont d’anciennes maisons de pêcheurs datant du 16ème siècle. L’architecture est typique, c’est généralement ce qu’apprécient les guests choisissant de loger dans ce quartier très prisé. De plus, lors de nos échanges avant la validation de votre réservation, j'ai répondu que le quartier est plutôt vivant à votre question sur le calme. Vous avez donc effectué votre réservation en connaissance de cause. Je ne peux que vous conseiller, à l'avenir, de choisir votre logement, dans des quartier réputés calmes et donc moins vivants et pittoresques.
