ENCANTO DO DUQUE ist eine charmante Wohnung im Herzen von Lissabon - Viertel Chiado in der Nähe von Largo do Carmo.
Gemütlich und ruhig im elegantesten Viertel der Stadt.
Die Rua do Duque (Fußgängerstraße - im historischen Zentrum von Lissabon) bietet eine bezaubernde Umgebung.
Sehr vertraute und freundliche Atmosphäre, preisgünstige Restaurants mit traditioneller portugiesischer Küche sowie wunderschöne Esplanaden und typische Kaffees.
Die Lage ist sehr praktisch, viele Orte sind zu Fuß erreichbar, wirklich ein idealer Ausgangspunkt.
Nur 1 Wohnung pro Etage und Gebäude mit nur 3 Etagen.
Einmal im Gebäude, gibt es keinen Aufzug oder Treppen, um die Wohnung zu betreten.
Es ist für uns selbstverständlich die Wohnung sehr sauber zu präsentieren, und wir machen zwischen jedem Aufenthalt eine Pause von zwei Nächten, was die Belüftung des Hauses sowie die Check-In- und Check-Out-Zeiten erleichtert.
Wir haben eine vertrauensvolle Beziehung zu unseren Gästen, die ihren Aufenthalt bei uns bereits wiederholen! Glückliche Gäste, glückliche Besitzer!

Our host Sofia was excellent. She met us at the property and gave us lots of information on things to do, where to find things such as supermarkets and tram lines, places to eat. The apartment was small but suited us perfectly. It was really well equipped and had supplies of everything you could need. The location was perfect too as we like to stay in the centre of a city. When we next go to Lisbon, this would be the place we would want to stay, cannot praise Sofia or the apartment enough. Thank you!

Great location, excellent host, if you close the windows it’s super quiet. The only thing not incredible is the bed was very hard ( if you like that you are good!) there is no space around the bed so if you need to get up at night you have to crawl over the person closest to the door (thank goodness I’m small!) I’d love to see a fan available to use in the bedroom. Once you close everything up it’s very warm in the bedroom. I’d stay again for the Host and location!

Cozy place with excellent location!

We stayed here for 3 days and it was absolutely wonderful how easy it was to reach some of the main tourist attractions in Baixa Chiado, we were practically surrounded by it! Some of my favorite food that we had in Lisbon was on the same street the apartment is on (several good options), and the apartment itself was very cute and practical for our stay. For couples or small groups that are looking to get to a lot of attractions, restaurants, bars, and shopping all by foot this place is perfect.

Sophia welcomed us. She had maps and outing suggestions. She told us how to get around. She had drinks and snacks for us when we arrived. She was so helpful. I cant say enough. The apartment is beautiful and in a great spot with many restaurants. The best VRBO I have stayed at and the best host.

Best host EVER!

The property is located within walking distance of the underground and not far from main attractions. It quite literally is in the middle of everything. At the same time, it is tucked in off a little street. The host by far was the best we’ve ever had. She met us at the property and gave us information about the area and how to get around. She explained how everything in the apartment worked. She also supplied some basic foods for the first day or so, which was really appreciated after such a long flight from the United States. After we took a nap, we had an apple some bread and cheese. It was lovely. I would highly recommend staying here if you wanna go out and see everything.

Wonderful Stay!

This apartment is in the perfect location! It's right in the middle of the city and has easy access to the train station and all central locations for meeting. Plus Sofia is amazing! She greeted us personally and not only oriented us to the apartment but was able to provide recommendations on what to do in all neighborhoods of Lisbon and how to get there. All you need in a great location

Sofia and her 1 bedroom were a wonderful start to my Portugal trip. Sofia gave perfect directions by metro from the airport. She met me upon checkin, gave me fantastic recommendations for dinner and a fado night. This apartment has everything that is needed for a stay in Lisbon. It’s situated in a good spot in the city. Very safe at night and not too loud. Sofia is a wonderful host and had fruit and juice when I arrived. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent!

It’s easy to give a five star rating when everything goes as planned, but I am happy to give a five star rating where there was an actual problem. The reason is that the communication and attentiveness of the problem was above and beyond. The responsiveness was incredible. The refrigerator failed, and the property owners were on site within an hour and purchased a new refrigerator within two hours. The location, cleanliness and responsiveness of the hosts were all superb. This property is incredibly well-maintained. I felt like I was treated as a family friend. I highly recommend this property.

Great location! Great landlady!

Although the apartment is small, Sofia, the landlady, provides everything one could need for a comfortable and fun stay in a wonderful city. She has thought of many little touches: extra towels, a bottle of juice and some biscuits, teas, spices, olive oil, and more. All these made it easier to stay in an apartment in Lisbon. But Sofia is also an ace at giving one recommendations for things to see, places to eat, places for day trips. The apartment is in the heart of the tourist part of Lisbon. One can walk (or take the Metro easily) to other parts of the city from there. After a day's exploring, we were always happy to come home to this peaceful little place. We recommend it highly!

Great little apt in the center of it all.

We stayed here for 6 nights in Sept 2024. Charming 1 bedroom unit on the ground floor in a building in the historic neighborhood, located just steps away from everything, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, Fado music, supermarkets, squares, bars, metro and train stations. The location couldn't be any better! From the moment of booking, communication with Sofia, the wonderful host, has been A+++++. She met us at the apartment, shown us great hospitality, gave us so many great tips and recommendations to do the things we're into, and apartment was stocked with goodies. The apartment is very clean and tidy. The living room has a futon sofa, coffee table, and TV. Efficient kitchen with full size fridge and washing machine, Nespresso coffeemaker, built-in table, and enough tableware for few people. The bedroom has a built-in closet and built-in wall shelving, great for unpacking clothes, with plenty of hangers and towels. The bed is quite firm and so comfortable, and even had memory-foam curved pillows. Also small but efficient bathroom with half-size tub & shower and good water pressure. We enjoyed having the windows open to hear the sounds of Lisbon's vibrant life, and closed the windows for 100% soundproofing. We would definitely stay here again. Obrigados!

Die Wohnung ist klein, aber fein, gemütlich und in einer sehr zentralen Lage!

Die Zeit für das Eincheck ist bei Sofia sehr flexibel. Wir sind bestimmt rund 23 Uhr am 25.12. erst in der Wohnung angekommen. Sofia und ihre Tochte warteten schon in der Wohnung. Vielen Dank für den freundlichen Empfang, auch für die nette Tips für Sightseeing und das liebvolle Kleingeschenk an meinem Sohn. Die Wohnung ist im Erdg. Sie ist etwas klein und eng auf den ersten Blick. Wir sind schnell daran gewohnt, und emfinden wir die Wohnung als ein gemütliches Urlaubsheim. Da unsere Familie gern auf harte Matratze schlafen, finden wir die Matratze des Doppelbetts für uns sehr zurecht angenehm ist. Die Bettdecke ist auch breit genug für zwei, und hat wahrscheinlich ein Maß von 200 x 220cm. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer kleinen Gasse mit vielen kleine Restaurants, einem davon mit Fado. Wir sind zu Weihnachtszeit und Silvester da, und die Fenster sind stets zu. Daher ist die Wohnung für uns schon ruhig. Nur einmal hören wir was in dem Treppenhaus, als die Leute von oberem Geschoss untergekommen waren. Sehr selten hören wir was von Straßen. Allerdings der "Lärm" (eigentlich nicht so laut) hat uns gar nicht gestört, weil wir sowieso tagesüber unterwegs waren. Die Lage der Wohnung ist traumhaft. Wir haben unsere Aufenhalt in der Wohnung und in Lissabon sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist aus unserer Sicht sehr empfehlenswert, und komme gerne wieder zurück.

Das Appartment war ein traumhafter Ausgangspunkt mitten in Lissabon

Das Apartment ist klein, aber fein und mit allem liebevoll ausgestattet, was man braucht! Sophia hat uns erwartet und gleich viele wertvolle Tipps für Sighseeing, Einkaufen, Fado und Essen gehen gegeben. Die Wohnung ist ebenerdig, mit kleinem Bad und Schlafzimmer zur Fußgängerstraße (Rua do Duque) raus in einem Altbau, super zentral gelegen. Über die Rolltreppe im Rossio-Bahnhof kann man die Höhe vom Rossio-Platz auch mit Rollkoffer gut überwinden. Außerdem gibt es den Elevador Santa Justa und auf der Terrasse nebenan auch noch einen kostenfreien neuen Aufzug, der in einem Souvenirladen unten rauskommt. Gleich am Largo do Carmo kann man gut essen, sitzen, Lissabon spüren und es gibt sogar einen Biosupermarkt. Wir waren sechs Nächte im Herzen von Lissabon und werden sicher wieder kommen. À notre arrivée Sofia la propriétaire nous a fait un super bel accueil! En plus d’une visite des lieux, elle nous a suggéré plusieurs endroits à visiter et aussi quelques bons restaurants à proximité. Un appartement très agréable,cosy.L'emplacement est idéal.on peut quasiment tout faire à pieds:le Barrio alto,le baixa chiado,la proximité du Tage. Beaucoup de restaurants tipiques et a des prix très corrects.Tout y est pour passer un excellent moment. Great location and cute, well-organized space that can accommodate two people quite comfortably. Sofia is also extremely nice and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
