Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in, Kommunikation, Lage und Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts
This is a charming spot in the walled city center of Lucca. We were impressed with the bedroom (spacious closets, large mirrors) and how quiet it was (with windows shut) for being just outside a large and busy square. We also appreciated being able to quickly go back into the apartment throughout the day as we walked around Lucca. I also appreciated the few espresso pods/machine from the hosts, which saved me some time and a few euro on mornings when we had to go out early to catch a train. The kitchen was otherwise minimal, and we didn't use it for anything besides espresso.Of note, the train station is about a 15 minute walk from the apartment on cobblestone or uneven streets. Use a backpack or carry your luggage if you can. We had to use large rolling suitcases because of events that brought us to Lucca, and that was no fun. Finally, there was some confusion about finding the apartment at first, although everything got sorted out. Somehow I had the address for the management office about 10 minutes away. I still don't know how that happened. Anyway, I appreciate the office communicating with me during that time to coordinate handing off the keys in person.Thanks for a good stay! We hope to come back one day.
