The Space

Recently renovated, the apartment is bright, cozy, and tastefully decorated with elegant finishes that give it a unique character. Each room features panoramic views, and the highlight is a spacious 30 sqm terrace offering breathtaking sights of Florence—perfect for relaxing with a glass of Chianti after a day of sightseeing.

Situated on the 4th floor of a beautiful building with an elevator (please note: access to the elevator begins after 25 steps from the main entrance), the apartment can comfortably accommodate up to six guests. It offers two luminous double bedrooms (one with two single beds that can be joined), one of which has an en-suite bathroom, and an additional large bathroom. The living room includes a comfortable double sofa bed and a TV, along with spectacular views. There is also a dining area and a fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine, and dishwasher. Amenities include A/C, Wi-Fi, and a washer/dryer.

⚠️ Please note: there is a staircase (25 steps) before reaching the elevator.

It is really hot in Florence this time of year and we think they turned on the AC like right before we got there so took a few days for the apartment to feel cool. The view from the apartment was excellent and beautiful. Water pressure was not very good. I do want to mention that my father got robbed as we were both entering the apartment I had my key in the door so it was right outside of the apartment. We know that this does not have anything to do with the apartment or host. But we did ask the host if there was any cameras on the property and there is not even though there is a sticker that says the building is surveilled. Talking to locals they said this location has gotten a little more dicey recently.

We stayed in Athens, Florence and Rome on this trip. This location was our favorite. Loved the penthouse setting. Great views. Located within walking distance to the railway station and all of our excursions. Numerous restaurants and Gelato options on this side of the river. Good communication for access to the unit and checkout was a breeze.

Great location. Easy access walking or for taxi's, just a ridge and a block away from city center. Quieter but close to restaurants, bars, cafes, grocery, sites. Walk to shopping, restaurants, museums, historical sites. Amazing views! Large outdoor terraces. Modern zen-like apartment is besutiful with everything you need including good wifi and accomodating, responsive hosts and comfortable beds. Elevator was nice. Good security. Will.rent again!

We were able to communicate no problem making check in smooth. The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the open space and amazing views of Florence city center. It was a bummer that the outdoor cushions had been left out in the rain so we couldn’t sit on them after the rain had stopped. Maybe a cover for the out door furniture but I’m sure that’s hard with the wind being an issue on the top floor. Super clean and well kept. Just a note that if you are planning on doing laundry there is only a washer but is very common in Europe. We stayed in the spring and had someCooler days and the heater worked just fine. Would be an amazing apartment for any season, warmer days on the patio and cooler days inside with beautiful views.

It is just a lovely apartment, clean and well designed, with great outdoor areas. The location of the apartment is perfect as everything is in walking distance, like grocery store, restaurants and old town. The contact with Sweetstay was great, we felt well prepared and during our stay we had a great support from Nicollo.

A fabulous, spacious, spotlessly clean apartment with the most amazing terrace. It’s situation is perfect for all the old town has to offer….. shops, restaurants, station, taxis and of course the Duomo and all other buildings and sites. Sweetstay is a wonderful host. My family had a great 3-night stay in this beautiful, clean, and conveniently located apartment in Florence. The apartment was well-appointed, very clean, and had plenty of space for my family to be comfortable. With the top-floor location, views from the 3-sided wrap-around balcony were stunning. The location was perfect for us with so many great attractions and restaurants within walking distance. The host was good to work with, responsive, and the check-in and check-out process was easy. Would return if back in Florence.

Great Place

Check-in process was a challenge. Apartment uses a 3rd party property management group for check-in.Morning of arrival we got a couple messages about check-in, but then communication went dark all day. It wasn’t until after we arrived, and had been waiting outside the apartment building for a while, that someone else responded to our calls and came over to let us in. Apparently the first person called out sick and the person trying to cover was scrambling all over the city and behind on check-ins. Other than that, the place was fantastic. Modern, clean, convenient. Made for a great stay. Will warn though, need to carry luggage up a flight of stairs before an elevator can take you the rest of the way up. If not able to carry your luggage it could be a challenge.

Would definitely recommend! Steps from the Arno River

We rented for a week over Thanksgiving break to visit our daughter who is there studying abroad for the semester. This apartment is on the TOP floor of a residential apartment building. It's bright and clean and beautiful! The wrap around balcony/porch areas are SO special! You get the whole Florence skyline- including the Duomo! Great, residential area- on the south side of the Arno- in the NON touristy area, yet a short/lovely walk to everything. Only things to change on description: there is a washer, but no dryer- which I think is standard for Italy. There is a Nepresso type of coffee maker, no "American" style coffee maker which we would have loved. Asked for a second set of towels for our week long stay and that was provided for us. We didn't know what to do with the trash but our daughter helped us figure it out! Would return to this apartment any time!

Great layout to the apartment for two couples but be mindful of valuables

Overall, this is a nice apartment. It is a bit of a walk to the main attractions (we knew that going in but wanted to mention it in case others looking for a rental aren't aware). We loved the outside deck. The apartment could use a touch-up (paint) on the main walls. There were dead/bloody mosquitoes on the walls from prior guests. Also, be aware there is no safe. The apartment was burglarized while we were on a tour our first full day. There are three keys to get into the apartment itself (outside door, vestibule, and apartment). It led us to believe it was someone within the property management group. The property manager did contact us once we reported the burglary. Our jewelry was all taken as well as other clothing and personal items. If you rent here, take any valuables with you and/or hide them well.

Dear Miss MARY TRIPP, I think it is only fair to put a name and surname in front of such a review that unabashedly accuses me of stealing 'Jewels' at night. I have been doing this job for 10 years with over 100 properties managed in 8 different countries, I have never had such problems with anyone and most importantly I AM NOT A THIEF. When you contacted me regarding an alleged theft of JEWELS, without taking anything else (documents, money, phone, computer, etc.), I advised you to call the police who may have had access to the cameras in the neighbouring shops to find out who might have broken in. The funny thing is that the police weren't even called, because evidently your story of RUBBISHED IMAGINARY JEWELS, didn't stand up, maybe you tried to play some little game with your insurance company, I don't know for what purpose you did all this charade, but I don't want to be any part of it. . I have made a request to remove this defamatory review and I strongly advise you to stop writing this nonsense about me.

Nice Apartment

Very nice apartment - tastefully decorated and within a 20-minute walking distance of most attractions. The deck was beautiful; however, we couldn't use it as much as we had hoped because mosquitoes would fly inside every time we opened one of the doors to go outside. So we mostly kept everything locked up and ran the AC. Our biggest issue with the apartment, however, was the water. We would lose water pressure whenever someone ran the shower for even 5 minutes. We wouldn't just lose hot water - we literally would not have water for 20-30 minutes, and this happened repeatedly during our stay. Also, there is no number to call to reach building management - you have to use chat for all communications. In fairness, management did respond timely to the chats; however, being able to call directly would have been more convenient. Finally, when we checked in, only one set of keys was initially given to us. We had to convince the woman who checked us in also to leave us her set of keys so that our family of five would have two sets. Going forward, two sets of keys should always be provided.
