We had a wonderful time and loved the apartment. It is located in central Florence close to everything, but also tucked into a quiet piazza. Comfortable beds and bedrooms and an amazing view from the terrace. You can access it via the small elevator, or walk up the 6 or 7 flights! One suggestion I would make is for owners to invest in a new sofa for the den area- existing furniture is not comfortable for sitting around. One more thing to mention is the tenant in apt below is very sensitive. We were very quiet our whole trip, just sleeping and walking to and from bathroom mainly- out of the house except for nights! The last morning, however, as we were preparing to leave, she came up and banged on our door telling us to quiet down. Just minor annoyance during what was otherwise an amazing stay!

Staging photos were exceptional, but the furnishing left a lot to be desired. There was no comfortable space to relax outside of the bedroom area and the sofa that was there was filthy, although appeared to have been cleaned. A little TLC and this place could be amazing, but I'm sorry to say not worth the amount I paid per night.

Location, Location, Location!!

This is a fantastic property to take in all of Florence! The balcony offers a tremendous view of the Duomo and Uffizi, and a perfect place to have a morning cup of coffee to plan your day or evening wine and cheese to unwind. Consider this property if you want to be in the heart of Florence and experience all that it has to offer!

Perfect location and stunning views!

We were 2 couples enjoying a family reunion in Florence. The location can’t be bettered in terms of access to all of the sights(literally on your doorstep), and the view from the terrace is outstanding! Stefania was an excellent communicator throughout. It didn’t spoil our stay, but the apartment is in urgent need of a bit of maintenance to ensure it lives up to its location.

Perfect Location!

We had a wonderful stay! The check in/out process couldn’t have been easier. The apartment is walking distance to everything!! We enjoyed the outdoor patios. The apartment is clean and located above a restaurant. The only minor complaint we had was that sometimes the apt had a funny smell because of the restaurant below. It would not stop us from renting again. Stephania was wonderful to work with. She helped us with transportation to the airport and her contacts for day trips and tours were extremely professional! All around great experience!

Our Short Stay In Florence

Ciao Bella’s enjoyed a fabulous quick stay in Florence! The property was in a wonderful location not far from Train, Airport, shops and restaurants! I do have to caution travelers that it is required to send passports of all people staying and wish this would have been told to us beforehand in todays day and age of fraud we were a bit skeptical for last minute request, however realized it was a requirement and no funny business. Check in was a bit tedious and maybe it was a communication barrier as our flight arrived early, and we just wanted to drop our bags off while our place was being cleaned and we ended up having to wait outside for about an hour before allowed access. But overall a nice place in great location!

Wonderful apartment, incredible location with 2 balconies and views of duomo

This is a beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, one with a balcony with views over oltrarno and pitti palace. Nice kitchen with some condiments, and lovely balcony overlooking duomo. Literally 2 mins to ponte vecchio and Uffizi gallery. Ideally would have more than 1 towel per person and 1 tea towel for 5 night stay, and the electricity is very patchy... we couldn’t use the washing machine, dishwasher during our stay and even hairdryer and iron would trip the fuse. Air con also would go off several times in the night.This may be a temporary fault and the owners did try and fix it but couldn’t during our stay. We did not receive a discount for our stay despite this. Overall a lovely stay Thankyou.

We just returned from a lovely week-long stay at this apartment which is a stone's throw from Piazza della Signoria. When we booked it, we had no idea what a perfect location it was! Just steps from the Ponte Vecchio and the Easter crowds that stormed the city last week. The crazy thing was that since it was a top floor apartment, we could sit on the terrace and not even hear the street noise- just the occasional bell tower chimes and police cars. The Ufizzi Gallery was a quick walk across the square, and there was a great Irish pub there too-The Michael Collins. I can't remember the name of place we ate the first night in the piazza-but it was on the far side of the piazza from the apartment and it had orange heaters. Great service-great minestrone. The apartment was clean, roomy enough for my husband and I, our tall teenage sons and our daughter who is studying in Florence for the semester even slept on the pull out couch one night. The kitchen had all the necessary items, there was a washer, an iron and plenty of places to hang washed clothes. We loved the blinds that were built into the window and we could open with a push of a button. The views you see on the Home Away site are accurate and just as wonderful when you are there in person. The view from the Master included Pitti Palace across the river as well. Both Stefania and Irene took good care of us in the booking process, and Irene was there when we arrived to welcome us and orient us to the apartment and the building. Thanks to them for their attentiveness. They even had a reference for a driver that was wonderful. Francesco, at our request, took us to the Castello di Albola winery near Radda, and he included a brief stop for cappuccino in the lovely town of Radda. We continued on to Siena for a late lunch and a walk around that beautiful city. Call him if you want to check out the Tuscan countryside! There is a pamphlet in the apartment. The flights up the steps were daunting after a long day of sight seeing, so the elevator was an added bonus. The only thing I would request if we were to return would be more towels. Ours got really gross, so we did wash them mid-week, but no one has dryers in Florence, so we had to time it so they would dry before we needed them the next day. One final important note: Get the doughnuts at Rivoire in Piazza Vecchio. DELICIOUS!

Alles hat tadellos geklappt: Garage, Wohnungsübergabe, Wohnung sehr schön.

Waren im November in Florenz, konnten die schönen Balkone nicht wirklich nutzen. Tolle Aussicht. Haben überwiegend zu Hause gegessen, Küche, Esstisch sehr schön. Gleich in Innenstadt, alles gut zu erreichen, Wohnung sehr empfehlenswert.

We enjoyed our stay! Great location. Great views on both sides. The lift was easy and convenient, the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. The apartment is large and was clean enough, but does need some TLC compared to the listing photos. Our group was quiet but larger group may annoy downstairs neighbor, just fyi. Overall we enjoyed it and loved the views and location.

The Apartment is in the perfect location within 5 or 10 minute to all major attractions and restaurants. The views both roof decks off the Kitchen and Bedroom are fantastic.Elevator was great with one flight of stairs to reach the unit. The washer was helpful after days in prior areas (no dryer as is typical in Italy but there were plenty of hangers, clothes pins and drying racks. Although we didn’t cook the kitchen is well equiped. Both bedrooms have a full bath.

Stunning Views, Perfect Location, but Beware the Mosquitoes

This VRBO rental in Florence has a lot going for it, with absolutely stunning views and a fantastic location that makes exploring the city’s historic landmarks a breeze. It's very close to the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Vecchio, and almost shouting distance to the Duomo. However, our stay was impacted by a serious mosquito problem. Despite keeping the windows closed, we woke up each morning with fresh bites on our faces and arms, which made it hard to fully enjoy our time there. We contacted the management company for help, and their only advice was to buy bug spray...not ideal. We did try to find some but it's much harder to find in Florence than I thought it would be. While the apartment’s location and views are undeniably excellent, the mosquito problem was a major drawback and something future guests should be aware of. Some basic pest control would go a long way toward making this rental more comfortable. I really loved this rental and would stay there again with a commitment to do something about the mosquitoes before we arrive.

The location couldn't have been better. Every point of interest was easily accessible from the apartment. Moreover, the apartment had unforgettable views of town hall and the Duomo. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this place.
