Great villa, great time!

Was perfect for a group of 9. Didnt feel like you were on top of each other. The outdoor areas were amazing. Pool was clean and heated. Kitchen was well equipped. We will hopefully be returning.

Beautiful villa

Nicely situated villa that has basically anything you need. Spar supermarket within walking distance. Friendly owner that helped us accomodate our arrival and departure flight times. We could check in early and late checkout for some of our family was also not a problem at all.

Great holiday

Really lovely stay at the villa. Rooms are well furnished and decorated. Plenty of space. Owners really helpful before our stay and on hand during our stay if needed. Some areas of the villa could do with a good clean, windows, repainting etc. Sun loungers are old, looks a little tired in places. Neighbours are VERY sensitive to noise. You need a car to get about really, can get expensive with taxis. Spar at the end of the road is well stocked and very convenient.

Tres bien située, villa Alcalde est parfaite pour 14 personnes Ce serait 5 etoiles s il n y avait quelques defauts de propreté et d entretien. Un peu cher mais tres confortable.

The villa is fabulous. Plenty of space for 3 families to comfortably share for a week without getting on top of one another. The supermarket next door has excellent food including fresh meat and fish counters so you hardly need to go out. But if you do, I’d suggest a hire car as the local taxis sometimes struggle to locate the house although this could have been our Spanish!

Wonderful house with great amenities

The house is situated in a great location, close to supermarket and restaurants and various attractions. The family enjoyed the use of pool, hot tub, billiard and ping pong table. The manager was quick to respond to request. Wonderful house for a great family vacation!

Mis à part quelques odeurs dans certaines salles de bains, cette villa très bien équipée est vraiment géniale et fantastique pour passer une semaine de vacances en famille et idéalement située pour découvrir les beautés de Lanzarote. Le gérant immobilier nous a fourni un service impeccable. Nous n'hésiterons pas à parler de la villa Alcalde à vos amis et connaissances.

Great house for a family vacation

This is a very good house for a family vacation with the pool and ping pong tables, the pool and the hot tub. Amazing yard with stone grill. Centrally located at appr. 30 minutes from all attractions, and a few minutes from very nice town of Puerto del Carmen. Conveniently located a few minutes walk from a grocery store. One downside is very close neighbors, but this was not a problem during our stay. Other problem is the humidity and bad smell from bathrooms.

Nice holidays

We had a nice holiday thanks to Rossi and his nice villa. We were a group of friends and a lot of fun in the pool and jacuzzi. The villa could be even better with New ping-pong rackets and pool cues, and maybe some boars games.

Excellent - a great place for and excellent stay

We stayed with a group of 12 and absolutely loved it. With the space, and activities (swimming pool, jacuzzi, table tennis and pool table) it felt like we were staying in a resort, yet had all the facilities to ourselves. The extra touches were really nice - as we didn't arrive till on a Saturday they left us a welcome pack so we could have something to eat, which was great. There were lots of bedrooms so that everyone could have the one they wanted with no fighting between the kids! We also loved going to Teleclub Macher which is a great snack bar where lots of locals were eating. It was really cheap and great for kids with really fussy tastes, yet also great for adults if you wanted canarian Tapas. Would highly recommend it.

Heel mooie villa met een mooi uitzicht! Van alle gemakken voorzien waaronder een prachtig verwarmd zwembad en jacuzzi! Villa ligt op een goede locatie van het eiland. En bezoek aan de grotten is een aanrader. Eurospar zit op loop afstand.

Fab villa, great location and winter sun!

Newly renovated property with fantastic amenities: heated pool, outdoor pool table, large fire pit, jacuzzi, and plenty of outdoor space. Lots of great touches like lanterns, throw cushions, and comfy sun loungers. Catering for large groups (we were a large family) was easy thanks to very well equipped kitchen with plenty of ovenproof dishes, large frying pans, large saucepans and tableware for many more than the villa holds. Well maintained, and beautiful interior as well as some of the most comfy beds we've slept in (and we have Jensen beds at home). Plenty of outdoor lounge seating as well as tables and chairs for outdoor dining helped us make the most of the outdoors, sun and light! The eurospar shop is quite literally 1 minute away and has a good butcher, fishmonger and great selection of fresh bread, milk and of course wine! We were very impressed with the standard of the groceries overall and the location made planning a lark (any last minute baby items or breakfast items were easily acquired ). The team in the ground were welcoming and eager to help and were able to organise a cot for the baby and baby chair (despite not being aware of previous agreement with main host). Organising mid-stay cleaning ahead of time was quite difficult as manager/host was tough to get a hold of and lock down on times and dates including when we tried him on the phone (we booked on April 1st for Christmas stay). That said, in the end we did any common area cleaning ourselves and found a mop and hoover/vacuum to do the job. We also found much needed duvets in storage beds (as sheets would not have been enough at night!). A couple of things to consider for winter stays: there is no installed heating in the villa which if you keep some light footwear on is not an issue. There were many of us so our kids' and adults' sheer bodyheat kept the living areas warm. Some of us had space heaters brought in from the on the ground management for the bedrooms which helped. When we were there this December (2017) it was chilli overnight (13-15 Celsius/60 Fahrenheit) and winds in the day meant that keeping doors closed kept the heat in. All in all the villa and overall experience were 5 stars. The friendliness of the team (thanks Jenn and Russ!) helped, but small niggles with pool being cold-22 degrees with 27/28 target- (this was fixed after a few days), and the communication with the host (cleaning and cot) I have given 4 overall (4.5 not an option)

Très belle villa ,spacieuse , décorée avec goût ,très beau jardin et bon équipement extérieur

Nous avons passé notre séjour en famille (15adultes ) la villa est très agréable à vivre ,très calme ,des belles chambres ,possibilités de garer 4petites voitures . Bien placée,a 2mn à pied d'un petit super marché ,et à 10mn de l'aéroport (on n'entend pas les avions !!!) Peut être revoir les récipients pour cuisiner pour 15 ...il manque quelques grands saladiers !!! Pour le linge ,parfait sauf pour la cuisine ...2 torchons pour la semaine C'était un super séjour

Perfect luxury villa with pool & hot tub

Upon walking into Villa Alcalde, you know you're going to enjoy your holiday. The photos on the website are just a taster of how beautiful this place really is. The villa is well stocked with many practical items in the kitchen, living areas and bedrooms, along with a basic food hamper for your arrival. It's only a few minutes walk to the Eurospar though, where you'll find everything you could need (the fresh fish are amazing, cooked whole over the outdoor firepit/BBQ). The wraparound balcony offers superb views towards Puerto del Carman and is nice & cool for sitting outdoors in the heat of the day. We enjoyed our morning yoga there as the sun rose over the villa. The bedrooms are all great sizes with really comfortable beds. Extra blankets and pillows are available, though we didn't need them...it was quite hot during the night. Thankfully there are fans in all bedrooms too, which were a necessity. Plenty of hanging space for your clothing and storage space for suitcases and travelling gear. We noticed highchairs in the villa, but didn't need them for our group...but a great bonus if travelling with babies/toddlers. The dining space is fantastic indoors or out, loads of seating. Though there are so many fabulous places locally for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you may not need them! Recycling and rubbish can be disposed of in the Eurospar, which makes it handy to keep on top of. There's a warning there are cockroaches in Lanzarote, but we saw none - and not one of us had a mosquito bite either so perhaps they aren't a problem for the island either. The pool is a lovely temperature, as is the hot tub and both scrupulously clean (pool guy came out during our stay). Plenty of sunloungers and a great pool table area in the shade. The villa itself is in a residential area, with the next door neighbour being particularly close, but this shouldn't distract you from your stay. You're not overlooked and if you're lucky enough to secure a booking you won't regret it. Rossi & Kelly are fabulous agents and made the whole booking process really easy. We would highly recommend.

Quality villa in quiet location

My friend and I stayed at Villa Alcalde late September 2017. The villa was immaculate - clean, fresh and airy. It is spacious and light and is in an excellent location - quiet and not too far from Puerto del Carmen and with a very well stocked Eurospar only a few minutes walk away. The villa has dual aspect views from the balcony. The villa is well suited to both small and large parties, with different areas giving both private and social areas. The living area is modern - modern fittings and furnishings and with a 'flow-through' of kitchen, dining and lounge, with a separate TV room with its own en-suite. Both the pool and the Jacuzzi were spotlessly clean and the BBQ / firepit is excellent for both outdoor cooking and the sheer joy of having an oudoor fire. For anyone who is less keen on insects I can report that there was absolutely no sign of cockroaches or any other creepy-crawly - as already noted, the villa, outside area, pool and Jacuzzi were spotless. The villa manager visited to check we were settled in, check everything was ok and if we had any questions. He was friendly and very helpful and our email communications (we asked some things about the area) were always answered quickly. I would highly recommend this villa. It is ideal for a good number of guest types - those looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, those looking for a place to have a family or social celebration (a great villa for entertaining), those on a more active holiday (Macher is well placed for those keen on cycling around the island) and for families, couples and adults only. If you do stay at Villa Alcalde, please look after it as if it were your own - it is truly a lovely villa.

A piece of paradise in a stunning location

We recently had a wonderful 10 night family holiday at Villa Alcalde this Easter and couldn't recommend the property more. The house itself is incredible; very spacious with stylish interiors, top of the range facilities, very comfortable living areas along with the wind sheltered pool and extensive outside space all made it very easy when travelling with family and young children. Plus the view from the wraparound terrace is something special. The helpfulness and warmth we received from the villa management who went out of their way to meet any needs we had from start to finish was the added touch that made our stay so great and is the exact reason why we will be returning as soon as we can. It really was one of the most relaxing villa holidays we have had as a family in a wonderful villa with a perfect location.
