Hi Anthony, thank you for leaving a review. We're sorry that you were disturbed by dogs in the area. Sadly, we are not able to control the behaviour of the dogs in Guime. Overall, Casa providencia provides a very peaceful holiday for those who want to get away from the tourist areas with noisy bars, music blaring into the night etc. and we have many guests who rebook year after year. We do need to charge for the aircon, because we need people to use it responsibly, and we have chosen a system where guests only pay for it when they are actually using it, as this is the best option for our guests. We hope that you enjoyed your holiday on Lanzarote and were able to make good use of the convenience of the central location, the large heated pool, hot tub and beautiful views from the villa.

Hi Simon, Thank you for your very complimentary remarks about our villa. Once again, I apologise for the lack of welcome pack. Sadly, you only mentioned this in an email on your return to the UK. Had you asked the cleaner who you met on your arrival, or contacted me about it at the time, I could have done something about it. Likewise, with regards to the dogs, we could have asked our manager to go round and speak to the owner straight away, had we known. The last time that this was an issue was 2 years ago, and following a conversation with the neighbour, it was dealt with, and the people who mentioned it to us have holidayed at the villa subsequently, and neither they, nor anyone else has mentioned it since. With regards to the hot tub, in your email on your return, you mentioned that it was only slight, and not a major issue. The pool man did say that the chemicals were low when he tested it, and he therefore needed to give a higher dose than usual. This may have been because the lid was left off for a long period, as the sunlight deteriorates the chemicals very quickly. He has looked after our pool and hot tub for 7 years, and we have never had anything like this happen before. Nevertheless, we have bought this matter to his attention. We hope that your symptoms have now completed cleared up and we are glad that otherwise you were wowed by the accommodation.
