We were glad to hear that you were quite happy with your stay, but we were disappointed not to receive a recommendation particularly since we regularly get very high ratings and recommendations for this condo. The rate for your stay was determined by the location, Waikiki ocean view and comparable rates of condos in the same building. This is an excellent location If you want to be near beaches, restaurants, bus stops, shopping, Friday night fireworks and views. We value you as a customer and hope you will keep us in mind for future vacation plans.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a perfect work getaway, well located, great view and perfect size for our requirements. The wifi was not stable but the property mgr was very responsive and got it fixed. The only negative part was that it smelled of smoke, whether that was from the ventilation system, or somebody else smoking on their Lanai or unit. Leaving the door open helped. And again Vincent was very responsive with some air fresheners.

Unfortunately, there may be a rare occasion where another condo may have someone smoke on their balcony where the smoke carries to other units. A quick call to you Property Manager would have investigated with the building manager to make sure it stopped. We understand how frustrating it may be when things don’t go as planned and we apologize for the inconvenience. We value you as a customer and hope you will keep us in mind for future vacation plans.

A perfect spot for breakfast or dinner. The mid-day sun hits hard so it heats up a bit at that time of day. Views are lovely. The pool is crystal clear and is never crowded. As to the location - two blocks to the beach and the main streets. So, if you're looking for something small that's well equipped and reasonable, this is it. The only downside is the bathroom, the toilet is in its own little room - feels a bit like 'cabin' camping. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would go back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Vincent (the property manager) was super helpful and took care of the few issues that popped up. I appreciated the tiled area (with a drain) just outside the actual shower for drying off and for hanging wet stuff. The kitchen has all the basic supplies. No oven, but the microwave can work as a convection oven. The apartment was mostly clean. It had a bit of a lingering smoke smell, probably from the previous renter, but it got better over time. We had a nice view of the ocean from the lanai, including seeing the surfers at Queens and Canoes. The security guards in the building are really nice people.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For the same price as a junky hotel in the area, you get this beautiful unit. The pictures are very accurate. The living space is small, but it never felt cramped--I think this is because the bedroom was a good size. This unit is perfect for 2 adults plus 1-2 children. The bed room has a queen size bed, and the grey couch that you see in the pictures lays flat to make a bed that is about the size of a full-sized mattress. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. One of the best features of this unit is the ocean view from the living room and lanai. I don't think this is even mentioned in the description! It was wonderful to be able to drink my morning coffee on the lanai and watch the surfers trying to catch waves. Another great feature is the location--just about 2 short Waikiki blocks to the main strip, Kalakaua, and the beach. This was our 2nd time renting with Captain Cook Resorts, and am sure that we will do so again on our next Oahu visit.

Perfect Location

The location of this appartment was perfect, and the view from the balcony was even better than expected. We ate our breakfast and dinner out on the balcony every day, and watched the surfers on Waikiki beach.

I love how close this apartment is to Waikiki beach. Super easy to walk around and access all kinds of stores and activities. Really nice view from the patio too. The only thing is since you are in a high floor, it gets windy and the wind gets a bit noisy. Other than that, everything is great.

Really great location in Waikiki. Several blocks away from the craziness/tourist area. But very close to everything including the food market, the beach is five minutes easy to go back-and-forth all day. Nice building and unit with a sunset/water view. Barbara was excellent to deal with and gave us a nice welcome at the unit personally even though it was late. Would book this unit again.

Ocean Views from the Lanai

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I had a perfect stay in this one bedroom condo. We had a quick and easy check in with Barbara. Everything was as described on the website. The condo was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning cooled the place very well. The kitchen was well equipped which made it easy for breakfast and the nights we decided to eat in. Huge fridge! Plenty of towels (including beach towels) and face washers were supplied and the shower was spotless. There was a laundry downstairs (very convenient) so we could wash our clothes without having to trek down the street. We enjoyed the sparkling blue pool. Buses were easily accessible within minutes from the condo to various destinations. The location to the beach, restaurants, food pantry's and ABC stores was excellent. Diamond Head can be seen from the entry to the property. We loved sitting on the lanai (balcony) with a drink in hand, listening to music, watching the sunset, surfers and the boats. The view was amazing!! We miss this condo already and would surely return.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were overall quite comfortable in this suite. Awesome location, great view, convenient parking option, comfortable bed. It does have it's quirks for being in an older building, and although it is non-smoking, there was a bit of a nicotine stained smell from the walls at times (particularly the toilet room). Overall satisfied with our stay- much more economical/amenity filled than a hotel.
