Nice and affordable right in the heart of Waikiki

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Centrally located, clean condo. Waikiki beach, Kalakaua Ave and all Waikiki stores are in walking distance. The condo was fine for us.. but you shouldn't be someone who loves to cook his own meals, the kitchen's very small, no storage. Plus:There are beachchairs snd a parasol for the beachdays. I'd recommend this condo for young couples that want to be right in the heart of town. Due to the location it's always a bit loud on the lanai (we didn't expect that but you get somehow used to this after some days).

Nice apartment, close to shops, restaurants, beach. Everything!!!

Short stroll to beach, bus stops and shops making this place real convenient.It can be a little noisy at night being at the centre of it all but that was ok for me.The apartment it self was clean and tidy, well stocked with things that you will need. Plus nice balcony to sit a chill. Watching the surfers do their thing.Bed was soft and comfy and Sofa bed was comfortable as well.I would recommend a stay here.

good place but needs good cleaning and some updating

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the good great location has most utensils and appliances that we needed. beautiful terrace on the 17th floor. Pool was nice. The bad the air conditioning thermostat is bad either ice cold or off. the apartment cleanliness could be a lot better. the bed was super firm my wife and I. actually purchased a 4 inch bed topper because neither of us could sleep on the regular bed. the bathroom fan was very noisy. all in all I would try a different apartment first. it just really needs a good deep down clean and then some updating.

Our vacation in Waikiki

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, great view. The bed was comfortable but the fold out bed was awful. I had told her were were planning on our two grown sons sleeping on it and that they are BIG guys. She should have advised me to keep looking. It folded out like a outdoor lounge chair. Very thin pad, very low to the floor. Paul saved our whole trip by finding us a memory foam matress to put on top. Still being so low to the floor was hard for my older son because he has a bad back. Also we had to put the pad on our bed during the day. The lighting was bad in the kitchen and bathroom vanity. Don't plan to cook a big meal there because there are only two burners and they are slow. Paul was very nice. We rented a car for three days and had to pay $15 a day even though the parking garage was almost empty.

We are glad that you contacted your property manager and we were able to help by providing a mattress topper. Parking is at a premium in Waikiki. Parking does not come with the units at Waikiki Park Heights as stated on our website, and if space is available there is a $15 parking charge. We work hard to offer great accommodations and friendly service, but understand your larger family needs may not have been the best fit. We are glad that you appreciated the beautiful ocean view and location. I will pass your feedback onto the team, and we look forward to your next visit!

Gut: Check-in, Kommunikation, Lage und Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts

Perfect location and view

Loved the location! Perfect to do everything by foot. Super beaches all over, walking distance. Super parks as well. Absolutely loved exploring Waikiki and Honolulu! The place is good for 1-2 people- very small, but perfect really for working remotely and vacation. As per cleanliness, the place needs a major spring cleaning. It had been cleaned, but not thoroughly. You can see the dirt under kitchen cabinets and appliances. And walls could use a wash. Biggest downside: the roaches, in the kitchen. Not good. Checking in a bit complicated having to call the tenant ahead of time to meet. He was not very knowledgeable of the place or any info for that matter. Also fire alarm went off twice in a few days, once later at night, 2nd lunchtime. Not a super management of the situation on the first one, the guy managing the building would not talk to us and clearly state that it was a false alarm, we were left to ourselves. 2nd time well taken charge of telling us clearly and repeatedly that it was false alarm. A bit anxious for many days/nights that it would ring again. Stayed in other condos during my stay which were cleaner and no bugs. Makes the difference. But yes would come back again.

The property management company called me to tell me the unit would be ready for our arrival and met us as planned.1707 was very clean and well maintained. It has all the essentials. It is opposite the elevator, so access is great and no added noise as a result, at night the building is very quiet. A pleasant balcony to enjoy the views with coffee/wine.Great location easy walking to the beach and into Waikiki. Some exceptional small local eating places very close by. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

There were no issues with check-in, Barbara met us as soon as we arrived and gave a run-through of the condo. We didn't need to contact her during our stay as there were no issues. The condo is well stocked with everything you could need, even beach chairs! We purchased an umbrella from Walmart and our beach set up was complete. The condo is conveniently located across from the elevator, but there was no noise. The building is very quiet at night. We will book again with Captain Cook and at Waikiki Park Heights.

Wonderful space for our family.

We had the absolute best vacation. Accommodations were perfect for our family of four. Beautiful view and with all the at home necessities. Location was perfect! Short walk to beach, shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend this rental.
