"Phillip Sunshine Retreat" is a 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom home in Cowes only 120m from Thompson Avenue with all its shops, restaurants, cafe's etc. Some of the many features of this home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs is the open plan kitchen / dining / living room (with smart tv) plus a second large central living room (with pool table, fuzbol table & smart tv) . Off this central living room are bedrooms 1 - 4, plus two separate bathrooms (each with shower & toilet) and a separate laundry. Upstairs is bedroom 5 (with walk in robe) and bedroom 6 (with built in robe) and the third bathroom (with shower & toilet).
Outdoor Areas
There is a fully covered outdoor area just outside the living / dining room with seating for 10. Parking for up to 3 cars is provided; one in the carport immediately outside the entrance to the home and 2 in designated parking bays in the visitor parking near the front of the block.
The home is situated on the same block as 8 separate one-bedroom Villa's (Sunshine Retreat Villas 1-8) previously known as "Cottages for Two".
Kitchen
The fully appointed main kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, Aldi coffee pod machine, etc. plus a single sink, pantry, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The home has 8 wall mounted reverse cycle heating & airconditioning units; one in each of the 6 bedrooms, plus one in each of the two living areas.
Bedroom Configuration:
This home has 14 beds, accommodating up to18 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Downstairs) : One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs) : Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs) : One Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs) : One Queen bed and One set of Single bunks
Bedroom 5 (Upstairs) : Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 6 (Upstairs) : One Queen bed
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, * check in times * are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional * linen hire * over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
