Nestled next to the Serpentine river in Furnissdale Mandurah this 5 bedroom home sleeping 9 people with solar hot water / reverse cycle heat/ air con and outdoor pool is perfect for rest and recuperation. Our solar heated pool has in pool spa blower and a safe shallow end for the kids. There is a large lawn with swing set, slide ,kayaks for the river, kids bikes, basketball hoop, scooters and jump ramp. There is a sheltered alfresco area with bifold door access to escape to privacy and sip a cocktail on balmy evenings. There is a multitude of bird life close by and pelicans frequently land on the river or you can just enjoy the surrounding peace and tranquility with a good book from our collection. Local cycle / tow path for a lovely evening stroll or bike ride.

Supermarket 5 mins by car. Mandurah Forum shopping complex 10 mins. Frequent local buses, train station 12 mins.

We have 2 driveways for parking 1 -4 cars plus boat if required - boat ramp 5 mins away to access Serpentine and Murray rivers, Peel inlet and Mandurah Foreshore for swimming , crabbing and fishing. x1 crab net on site

Our home has wifi, theatre room with Netflix, surround sound and reclining loungers, full kitchen, master with ensuite large double spa bath and walk in shower, entertainers lounge/kitchen with outflow to alfresco and outdoor barbecue. There is a wood burning fire for colder days. Whole house is available with the exception of the study, double garage and left outside portion of our home..

House is single storey, has outside cameras for your security and safety plus full and perimeter alarms.

Easy key access from lockbox. , travel 12 mins from Pinjarra turn off Kwinana / Forrest highway, 10 mins by train or Uber from Mandurah train station. Easy road access to Perth and South West

please note - swimming pool being rural can sometimes accumulate a few leaves - pool is regularly cleaned by pool company and water automatically turns over 4x daily and self chlorinates- leaves are removed regularly but may blow in with wind - swings/ slide / basketball hoop / kayaks/ scooters and ramp are used at guests / childrens’ own risk - crabs / fish are under no circumstances to be cleaned in the sinks - no parties under any circumstances - please obey 11 pm curfew for noise as we have elderly neighbours next door and in street - please shower outside after using river or pool before accessing the house (there is an outside primitive pool shower) plus outside hoses at front of property and poolside - thank you

- midges / mosquitos are a common occurrence in Mandurah in the summer months and require personal protection despite council airdrop spraying - we do get an occasional spider or daddy long legs in the house despite regular pest treatment as it’s a rural location - thanks for your understanding / bifold doors can open completely to allow dining in summer with large mosquito screen separation to dining table and alfresco

- if the spa bath is filled this will take all the hot water from the tank and the showers may run cold / tepid til next morning when solar water heater kicks in again - please be aware of this especially in the winter months

-wifi and theatre room have had recent make over and wifi now covers entire home area well including outside alfresco and pool areas due to hard wired booster in ceiling rear of house - theatre room is controlled by a single non battery remote accessing Netflix /SBS and free tv networks as well as video and music and photo display.
