This two-bedroom central Mt Maunganui holiday apartment is sure to be a hit from the moment you arrive. Whether you’re here for work or pleasure, the chilled central Mt Maunganui lifestyle is a great place to recharge the batteries down by the coast.
The Space:
The Waves sits in a fantastic position right across the road from the beach, so imagine your mornings out on the balcony sipping a freshly brewed coffee from the espresso machine, while you check the tides and get ready to wander across to the water!
This Mt Maunganui holiday apartment includes bright and comfortable open-plan living with excellent sea views. Unwind on the couch and take in the scenery, or chill out on the deck with the BBQ cooking dinner in the background. The fully equipped kitchen has everything the gourmet chef could need.
Sleeping up to five guests across two bedrooms in super sized beds with deliciously comfortable mattresses and bedding, you'll be well set up for a family escape. Enjoy the Wifi & Smart TV with Netflix for your entertainment at the end of a big day or star gaze through the telescope in the lounge. Feel free to use the bicycles available in the garage to check out the surrounding areas.
The bathroom features a large main sink, additional sink and bathtub through the door on the right, and the shower and toilet on through to the left.
It's hard to imagine wanting to be anywhere else here at The Waves, apart from down on the beach of course! When you do want to make the most of this great location only 500m from Mount Main Street you’ll find award-winning cafes and top-quality restaurants including abundant options for international cuisine. For the avid shopper, there is brand name designer labels to boutique shops selling local wares and everything in-between. Or, head across to the other side of the peninsula to visit Pilot Bay - it's less than a 10-minute walk away.

Easy walking distance to plenty of amenities, shopping, restaurants and more or feel free to use the bicycles available in the garage to check out the surrounding areas.

Please note the cleaning fee includes:
- Pre and post stay clean.
- Commercial laundering and supply of all linen including sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, bath mats, face cloths, hand towels and tea towels.
- Basic supplies and consumables, such as pantry items; shampoo, conditioner & body wash; coffee, tea & sugar etc.
- Rubbish & recycling removal.
**2 night minimum year-round
3 night minimum for all long weekends throughout the year.
Easter weekend 4 night minimum **
Cancelled bookings on Airbnb will be refunded in accordance with the cancelation policy, all other booking channels will incur a refund that is less the credit card Stripe fee.
The government has recently added a 15% occupancy tax to all holiday properties - we have adjusted the prices as much as possible to accomodate for this new tax.

Our apartment is fully managed which means all linen is commercially laundered & ironed, the apartment is professionally cleaned to hotel-standard before and after your stay and we have a dedicated local Property Manager who is available to help in any way, be it local knowledge of must-see & dos, recommendations of cafes and restaurants to just sorting out those occasional enquires or issues you may have.
