Bitte lesen Sie - Für die Saison 2018 haben wir einen Dritten für die Verwaltung unseres Eigentums eingesetzt. Leider war der Service für unsere Gäste oder für uns als Hausbesitzer nicht so gut. Unsere Bewertungen waren schon immer stark, aber sie wurden gelöscht, als wir zu einem Dritten wechselten. Wir sind zurück im Jahr 2019 und leiten das Anwesen selbst. Wir hoffen, dass wir auch wiederkehrende Gäste und neue zufriedene Gäste haben werden. Neu im Jahr 2019 - neue Feuerstelle, neue Matratzen im gesamten und ein Kingsize-Bett im Hauptschlafzimmer

Das Sea Rose Cottage befindet sich in einer wunderschönen, ruhigen Umgebung im malerischen Dorf Owls Head, einem typischen Küstenort von Maine. Owls Head General Store, Light House und State Park sind zu Fuß erreichbar und das Haus bietet einen Blick auf Owls Head Harbour. Fahrräder, Grill und Hummerkocher vor Ort - gehen Sie einfach über die Straße zum Kai und holen Sie sich frischen Hummer von Maine.

Die Innenstadt von Rockland mit vielen Restaurants und Geschäften erreichen Sie nach einer 10-minütigen Fahrt. Mit dem Farnsworth Museum, dem Leuchtturm Museum, dem Owls Head Transportation Museum, den Stränden und vielen anderen Attraktionen in der Nähe werden Sie sich nicht langweilen!

Private Bootsfahrten und Hummerabenteuer sind auf Anfrage und gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr erhältlich. Owls Head Harbor bietet einen Bootsanleger an.

Absolutely perfect home, setting, and view.

Four of us ( New England childhood friends now in our 70's) just spent three fantastic days in this lovely, quaint, and comfortable home in Owls Head. The harbor view is beautiful, the outdoor space ( about an acre) was very peaceful with an enormous deck, and the house was super comfortable and spacious. The home was also immaculate, with very comfortable beds, really nice linens, a fully equipped kitchen, and a nice updated shower/bathroom. The location is also great as it's so close to Rockland , Camden, "McCloons "( best lobster roll ever! ), the lighthouse, and lots of nearby places to hike and walk. The Owls Head General Store just down the road had delicious breakfast, coffee, as well as excellent lunch and dinner options. No need to cook ! We all travel together frequently , and we agreed that this home was of the best places we have stayed in. Plans to return next fall! Thank you.

Great location if your looking for seafood, lobster facility across street that will sell lobsters right off the boat, very quiet street, lots of seafood restaurants all around, light house adventures one on the same road as this home. The only downfall about this property is there is only 1 bathroom and its on the second floor with bedrooms other than that it was fantastic, also transportation museum on route 73 about 4 miles from home lots to see there also. It is and older home with a huge yard to play games in we played jarts and bocce had a great time with grandchildren.

Short but sweet

Stayed just for an overnight, but it was super relaxing. We (family of 5) all had room to stretch and relax after a long drive. Location was great and right down the street from the lighthouse and the Harbor Park. Inside was extremely cozy and cute. Only issue was where to put our trash on the way out, but the owners were quick to respond to my question and it was an easy fix. Thanks for having us.

Family time on the coast

The cottage was in a beautiful location, fully furnished with everything we needed and had more room than we needed!! We enjoyed spending time in Rockland and Camden. Would definitely recommend for a quiet, relaxing retreat.

Peaceful retreat

Wonderful property for a quiet retreat. Comfortable living room and great outdoor space on both the deck and around the fire pit. Remodeled bathroom has large shower. A cozy home that is just minutes away from shops and restaurants in Rockland. We had a wonderful visit and would definitely recommend this property for its location and serenity.

Quiet time

This was what I was looking for . Quiet , simple , clean . Might not be everyone’s cup of tea . Cellphone coverage was spotty . Not for the vertically advantaged, ceilings are low . Check-in directions did not match up with the property, my inquiry to the owner was unanswered, I figured it out, some people might get upset/confused, if arriving at night/in the dark could have been a problem .

Very cute place!

The pictures are accurate and this place is lovely. Owners were very quick to respond to communication, and I didn’t have any problems during my visit, but if I had, it was nice to know they were on top of the correspondence. The only thing I would mention is that the bathroom is on the second floor and the shower door can be difficult to open, so if someone in your group has mobility issues, this might not be the place for you.

Quiet Getaway

Sea Rose Cottage

Beautiful old maine home..rustic and so comfy.Very clean, cozy, ocean side home…. Everything you need for a short or long stay.. Enjoyed the area and of course the great fire pit area. Such a warm and cozy home, even at less than 20degrees:) loved our long stay and would recommend it to anyone that wants a beautiful place to vacation..

Hi, We were disappointed that we were not able to see the harbor from the cottage. Besides that, the place was dirty with dirty towels on the back of the bathroom door & a dirty sock under the bed. The guest room upstairs looked like it has not been vacuumed in awhile as there was a lot of dust on the floor.

Charming cottage

Wonderfully, charming cottage! The house had ample beds and spaces to sit and read or watch TV. Deck is spacious and there is a spot to build a fire. Close walk to a cute little lighthouse and up the street from the Owls head general store! House was comfortable and we’ll be sure to return when we are back in the area!

Picturesque Owls Head!

Beautiful property on level grassy lawn about 1/4 mile from the Owls Head General store and Lobster Pound. House has that old Maine camp feel but very charming. Nice large deck for enjoying reading and taking in the setting. Large living room, dbl bedroom downstairs and 2 good sized bedrooms on the second floor. We enjoyed biking and walking around the area. It's an easy walk to the Owls Head Lighthouse, great location. Thanks so much to owners for a fun stay!!

Very relaxing

Three of us stayed at this cabin for 3 nights in early July. It was a great location to see a lot of what we wanted to see in Rockland, Camden and Thomaston. We did a sunset cruise on A Morning in Maine sailboat that was amazing, and only 10 minutes drive. The house had comfy beds and a great deck for stargazing at night (with bug spray - lots of mosquitos!). Only issue we had was that the house got quite warm after a few 80 degree days, but we contacted the owner and were provided fans.
