Wonderful location on Penobscot Bay

Property was very clean and had everything we needed to a week long stay. It is on the small side but the location and the price more than make up for that.

Rosemary’s property is in a beautiful location close to Rockland. We enjoyed being able to take short drives to nature preserves, lighthouses and historic sites. The view from the deck is gorgeous. We were very fortunate to have a week of mostly dry weather to enjoy some relaxing time on the deck. We cooked all our fresh seafood meals in-house and the kitchen was well stocked for that purpose.

Quiet in the water

Nice home-like stay with amazing views. Great sunrise, especially with the Coast Gaurd Eagle clipper ship visiting in the harbor. The bed was really comfortable.

This cottage is in a beautiful location! The view of Penobscot Bay is wonderful. The local seafood restaurants are excellent! Every morning we got up to see the sunrise over the harbor and went into town for breakfast or a lobster roll at Claws or McLoons (both outstanding!!).The owners are sweet, they came to greet us. Overall it is clean, the decor is older, but it made us feel like we were at our gramma's house for a visit!THE VIEW is outstanding!

Lovely cottage close to all the Mid-Coast has to offer.

The cottage was perfect for the two of us. Very clean and the owners are extremely friendly and care about your experience. Loved sitting on the deck watching the birds and tides come and go. Close to shopping and good restaurants. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

tranquility on the bay

peaceful and relaxing really nice kitchen and back porch loved cooking in the kitchen and watching all the different boats in the water the moonlight was spectacular as well as the area restaurants everywhere we went got 5 forks we will be back

Cottage on the bay

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful week in Maine on Penobscot Bay. The cottage was perfect- clean, comfortable, ideal location, and a terrific view of the bay. Perfect for relaxing and taking trips to surrounding towns, hiking, restaurants, and beaches. Al and Rosie were super friendly and helpful and we hope to return to the cottage in the future.

Great sunrises and views of the harbor

Great location to all the sites and activities surrounding the area. The cottage is perfect for 2 people. If you don't want a lot of excitement this place is for you. Enjoyed the daily feeding of the seagulls from the owner next door! Wonderful time.

Lovely water views, quiet setting, friendly folks.

Cozy cottage, modern kitchen, with spectacular views overlooking the bay and Rockland waterfront. Comfy outdoor furniture -relax, read or have lunch on the sunny deck and watch the sailboats and seabirds. Inside, lg. screen TV with many channels and easy chairs. Perfect vacation!

Charming spot

We loved this cottage. So light and easy. The view over the water made it feel like being on a boat. The sunrise and sunset and the moonrise were all so beautiful. Sweet spot.

Week by the harbor

Great location for views of the harbor. Quiet dead end street. Our hosts were very nice and helpful. For guests who bring kayaks, be aware that you have to carry them down some rocky shoreline to get to the water.

Great Cabin With An Even Better View!

The cottage was a great place to spend a quiet week exploring the mid-coast area of Maine. It provided all that my wife and I needed to serve as base camp for our stay, from linens to lobster pots, it was all there. The view of Penobscot Bay and Owls Head was incredible! Coupled with the ability to dine outside each evening while watching the ships go by in the harbor; priceless. The nearby attractions kept us plenty busy and we got to see many of the nearby quant villages and shops. Great for that romantic escape to quintessential Maine!

Vacation in Rockland

We were overwhelmed by the gorgeous view from the deck. The cottage is right on the water! The deck furniture is perfect. The kitchen has all you need including a coffee pot and coffee! The TV is in fine working order. Because my husband is so tall, he had to adjust to the double bed. We have a queen size. bed at home! The owners are cordial and helpful. We had a great week!
