Glamping! Vom Memorial Day Wochenende bis zum Columbus Day Wochenende. Es ist eine kleine offene Kabine, die sich perfekt fĂŒr 2 Paare oder eine Familie eignet. 2 saubere, große Betten in jedem Zimmer, eine Couch und das Loft verfĂŒgt ĂŒber eine große Matratze. Der Dachboden ist ĂŒber eine Leiter erreichbar, die von den Balken oben freigegeben wird. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfĂŒgt ĂŒber ein BĂŒro zum Aufbewahren von Kleidung und einen Ventilator. Das Badezimmer hat eine Standdusche und eine Toilette. Die KĂŒche verfĂŒgt ĂŒber einen kleinen Herd, eine Mikrowelle und einen Backofen, einen halben KĂŒhlschrank, einen Toaster, eine Kaffeemaschine, eine KaffeemĂŒhle und alle notwendigen Geschirr und Töpfe. Innerhalb der Tabelle Sitze 4 und ein 6-Personen-Picknick-Tisch sitzt direkt vor der TĂŒr. Trinkwasserspender ist vorhanden. Helle, sonnige, rustikale Seeseite mit Feuerstelle und HĂ€ngematte. Zelte könnten sogar auf dem Rasen fĂŒr Kinder aufgestellt werden. Dies ist ein sehr entspannter, Spaß und sicherer Ort, um eine gute Zeit zu haben. Es ist ein Ferienhaus an einem See. Kein Hotel. Besitzer vor Ort. (Lakeside Glamping vom Feinsten) Eine tolle Zeit fĂŒr alle.

Host was very welcoming and helpful. Location was ideal for a variety of hiking, shopping, and dining experiences. Accommodations were small but clean and very comfortable for 3 adults and a Golden Retriever. Spectacular sunset views. No television, but that was OK because we didn't really miss it.

Perfect location for quality time as a family by the pond, while also being close to trails, town and our favorite spots on the midcoast. The cabin is simple and cozy. Everything worked well and was clean. Stacey responded quickly to questions that we had and took care of our needs. The communication was excellent! We had privacy, but it was also lovely to meet the owners and learn more from them about the area. The pond was clean, quiet and we appreciated the easy access so our niece could swim and paddle board to her heart's content. We spent the cool foggy days sitting around the campfire and the hot days in the pond. The cabin has a small fridge, so we were glad to have brought our cooler for extra storage on the deck. The A/C window unit was enough for us when it was hot-hot. Otherwise, the fans and windows were sufficient. We loved it and look forward to returning!

Considerate and friendly hosts

The view of the lake is excellent as is watching the ducks and loons. The cottage is smaller than we envisioned with bare bones kitchen facilities. Radu and Stacey are very helpful and responsive.

We left 3 days early, cut our vacation in half

Pros: -right on the lake-well decorated and maintained-hosts are extremely available and responsive -nice neighborhood Cons;-running water is pumped lake water, filtered to remove sand and physical debris. Not drinkable, not clean enough for washing dishes, not appropriate for bathing children -FLEAS! I think they were in the sofa. Our dog is medicated and thank goodness didn't get fleas, but I got bit up-the water pressure is so low, every #2 had to be plunged-AC is one window unit and some fans, we did not find a heating element during the cold nights (despite the listing mentioning one) and ultimately this made us cut our vacation in half and leave early. The large windows are poor insulators

Beautiful, restful spot

The rustic cabin was just perfect for us on the beautiful pond. Our hosts were easy to get in touch with and were very responsive. We loved our daily visits from Obi the cat. The location was super convenient and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved it and we look forward to staying there again sometime!

The perfect getaway!

We loved our stay here! Everything is as pictured, with all of the things you may need. Sheets, towels, all the kitchen supplies, and extra adirondack chairs outside! You have your own water access right there, it's nice and shallow with a sandy bottom for quite a ways which was great for our kids. Very convenient location, close to things but you still feel secluded next to the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

Wish I were there

I hated to leave this charming cottage. Such a beautiful and peaceful spot. Cozy and comfy. Ducks to watch, a cat to befriend, super friendly owner nearby. Nature and nurture. It’s perfect to be away from it all, but five miles from a good burger and beer.

My Sanctuary Stay

This is a quint, efficient, rustic cottage located within steps of Chickiwaki Pond. Great safe spot for kids to swim, boat and fish. It’s in a family neighborhood, with a wooded lot, allowing for privacy but, within close proximity to all the local amenities. Stacy was friendly and, very accommodating. I would not think twice about doing this again. Thank you Stacy!!

Wonderful little getaway

Adorable little cottage nestled in a quiet neighborhood right on the lake. The owners live next door and were very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. We often got visits from their cat Obi. Our kids fell in love with him. He'd even come take a nap with me on the hammock from time to time. The cottage worked out fine for myself, husband and two teens. The teens each got their own space(one in a bedroom and one in the loft) so worked out great. As far as the area this cottage is located conveniently near shopping centers, restaurants and local hot spots like Rockland and Camden but away from the hustle and bustle. Plenty to see and do. My husband and son took advantage of the public golf course right down the road. This is the first time we've vacationed in this area of ME and it is beautiful everywhere you go. Stunning ocean views, beaches, state parks, museums and Marinas. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Feel like we only scrtached the surface on things to do in the area. Would love to return.

Great little cottage on a nice small lake!

Although the weather was not perfect, we enjoyed much our stay in the cottage. We had fun kayaking and fishing and visiting all the seashore towns nearby.

Little Oasis in Rockport

This is the perfect little getaway and the cottage is serene and homey. You're right on the water and can enjoy kayaking or swimming or just taking in the view. The hosts were very communicative and understanding of my schedule changes. A great place to stay in midcoast Maine!

My husband Radu was born and raised in Romanian. We are both Bartenders. We love meeting new people and sharing the beauty of this place with others. The lake is this house's main attraction. All things revolve around the weather and lake settings. The mornings are serene and calm perfect for paddle boarding. In the evenings the sun sets in between the two mountains directly across the lake. There is always a lite breeze and loons to fall asleep to. The sound of the brook running through the property will lull you to bed at night.
