Das Moonlight Cottage: Am Wasser mit Stränden und Atlantikblick

Charmantes "echtes Maine Cottage", nur wenige Schritte vom Meer und Ihrem eigenen Privatstrand entfernt! Die Aussicht ist spektakulär, besonders wenn der Vollmond aufgeht, daher der Name Tenants Harbor Moonlight Cottage. Moonlight verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, eines mit einem Queensize-Bett und das zweite Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, eines als Ausziehbett. Das Haus verfügt über ein Vollbad (nur Dusche) und eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Es gibt einen tollen Raum mit einem Tisch für vier Personen und ein Wohnzimmer mit einem Holzkamin für die kühlen Abende in Maine. Holz kann im nahe gelegenen Gemischtwarenladen gekauft werden. Bei Bedarf elektrische Wärme. Grundlegende Kabel-TV, Telefon und Internet sind enthalten. Ein Deck ist mit einem Tisch und vier Stühlen zum Meer ausgerichtet, um die Aussicht zu genießen oder ein eigenes Hummerfest zu veranstalten! Bequem und einladend; Sie werden Jahr für Jahr wiederkommen wollen!

Parkplatz nur für zwei Autos.

Thomaston is quiet and beautiful. Close to Port Clyde and Rockland. Good lighthouses to visit near both spots. The Happy Clam restaurant in St. George has good food but pricey. McCloons in S. Thomaston is the place to go for great lobsters/lobster rolls. Camden Maine is not too far. The house on Barter Rd. is comfortable but very small; OK for two with well equipped kitchen. Rent is too high.

Maine home away from home

This is a beautiful property with so many areas to enjoy the weather. We loved watching the lobster boats and wildlife. The evenings were spent drinking coctails beside the firepit. A great place to spend a week in the heat of the summer.

The Moonlight Cottage, situated on a working harbor with an amazing view of Southern Island and the Gulf of Maine, is the quintessential Maine cottage. The kitchen is quite well equipped, there is easy access to the water for kayaking (rentals from Port Clyde Kayaks) and the cottage location, in Tenants Harbor, allows easy access to hiking and fantastic restaurants in nearby Rockland, Rockport and Camden.

The location is amazing. Tenant’s harbor is my favorite area in mid coast and then this cottage could not be better located. Had kayak delivered by Port Clyde Kayak (great place) and paddled daily right from outside the cottage. Easy walk to General store and Happy Claim (another great place). The cottage is lovely and well stocked kitchen for all cooking equipment ( bring your own coffee though). Bed very comfortable. FYI there are not ceilings in bedroom which I loved looking up at rafters however.

So many restaurants did not really prepare meals. Kitchen was well equipped. Living room was comfy and welll lit. The tv was difficult to work . Could not find regular channels o ly streaming. All clean. Info on welcome packet needs an update. Had an enjoyable time. Thank you

Wonderful!!

This was our first time to Maine and this cottage is in a stunning location in a very beautiful town! The yard around the cottage is very well taken care of! Our family enjoyed walking everyday to the Tenants Harbor General Store which had everything we needed/hoped for. The town was quiet and filled with life. We very much enjoyed watching the lobster boats in front of the cottage. Our children ages 10 & 11 and our golden retriever played on the rocks out front and had a blast everyday!! This vacation was a blessing to our family and the cottage was wonderful!! We hope to come back! Thank you for sharing!

Cozy cottage with unbelievable view!

Perfect location for a quiet getaway. Can’t get much closer to the water than this. Rocky beach area is just feet from the door and fun for beach combing for shells and rocks. Boats coming and going all day. The kitchen has everything you could want.

Sitting at the firepit outside, directly on the rocky beach and the Atlantic Ocean was magical ! We had a relaxing, enjoyable stay in this classic cottage. Down East Peace and Quiet
