Das Haus ist sehr offen und hell, hat ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett mit einer begehbaren Terrasse und einem halben Badezimmer, ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett und einen kleinen offenen Bereich mit einem Twin-Size-Bett. Es gibt ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Dusche und Whirlpool, eine Küche mit Herd, Kühlschrank und grundlegende Küchenutensilien. Das Wohnzimmer hat eine Couch und einen Stuhl. Es gibt Fußleistenwärme. Our time in Owls Head was fantastic! The house was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space inside and outside for all five of us to spread out and relax. The kids especially loved getting to play outside. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and more and was so convenient for our daily excursions. We would definitely recommend this property to any one visiting the area!

Beautiful, peaceful location. Hummingbirds, osprey, deer. Note-downstairs bedroom windows do not have screens, and one full bath on main level. Kitchen tools excellent.

We had a wonderful weekend in Owls Head! The property was clean, spacious and quiet. I was visited by a hummingbird each morning as I drank my coffee. A way to brew a pot of coffee might be nice but not a big deal. The kitchen had everything our group of 4 needed. We brought all our beach stuff including towels and chairs which made our trip to Birch Point perfect.

Wonderful!

This was our second time at this pristine property. It is a nice quiet spot and very well-equipped for our needs. It is close to beaches, trails and restaurants. It has very easy access to the Maine seacoast towns of Rockland, Rockport and Camden. We will definitely return for a third visit!

Location was beautiful, property was immaculate, but it’s lacking some basics! Here is what is needed: kitchen towels, potholders, a tea kettle, a coffeemaker, wine glasses, drinking glasses other than plastic, bath mats, saucepans (there were only stock pots) . But most importantly, the listing should have stated that two of the three bedrooms are in the basement where there is no bathroom. Older women like my sister and I, who need to toilet several times a night, do not want to ascend to a different floor to use the potty in the middle of the night . That important fact should be duly noted in the listing. Both my sister and I had to sleep on the main floor..me on the sofa, my sister on an inflatable mattress which we needed to go out and purchase at Walmart, along with a coffeemaker and kitchen towels. Also, I removed the stair treads while we were there, as they are loose and my sister slipped and fell off the bottom step when one of the treads came loose! I’ve been the housekeeping manager for seven oceanfront summer rentals in York Maine for eleven years, so I’m well aware of what amenities and information make a great rental! All things considered, once we set ourselves up to be comfortable, we had a wonderful stay in Owl’s Head!

Maine Seafood Stay

We came to Maine for the Seafood and the views. We had plenty of both. The house was plenty big enough for the 4 adults that stayed. Very nice quiet property. The house was everything it was described as. Very clean and roomy. We enjoyed it very much.

Beautifully Decorated

Lovely home inside and out. The decor is so tasteful and makes it very homey and welcoming. The only thing missing are towel bars in the bathrooms and perhaps a few more towels and wash cloths. Otherwise the home and gardens are just beautiful.

House is Perfection

The house is absolutely beautiful and in a wonderful location with views of the ocean and a short walk to the beach. The house is wonderfully decorated, was spotlessly clean, and the hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need. The neighborhood is very peaceful and we had a wonderful time enjoying the deck and taking drives up the coast. There is a small regional airport nearby, but the noise was not disturbing and we actually enjoyed watching the small aircraft fly overhead. Highly recommend and we look forward to our return visit.

Lovely home and nice location

It was not quite a clean and new as last year. My one gripe would be that there are not many towels and there is no place to hang towels to dry in either bathroom. We actually brought 2 small clothes drying racks with us because it was a problem last year too. Other than that, the place is perfect for us.

Wonderful!!

This is a very comfortable home, beautifully decorated in a modern nautical theme all throughout and super clean. A very large open yard surrounds the property with playground and zip line for the kids. 10 minutes from Rockland. Wonderful ocean view with limited ocean access (very rocky shoreline, three minute walk from house). Host is super responsive and kind. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet retreat. Thanks Kasey!!

A few days in Maine

The house is very clean and nicely decorated. It's in a very quiet spot and we enjoyed the deck with the grill and the firepit. We were trying to do work during the week, but the internet was so sporadic that it was impossible. I contacted the owner to try to help, and she did get Spectrum to reset it once, but it kept happening every day so we were without more often than not.

Perfect home away from home. Very well stocked kitchen, the beds were very comfy and everything was just overall cozy. Such a serene location. We will definitely stay again next time we come to visit our grandkids.
