From the owner: "Thank you for your review as well as your business, and we apologize for the issues during your stay. We responded to the heating system issue as quickly as we could (which happened during our first cold spell) and assure you that the system is now fully repaired. We will discuss the issue regarding items left by the previous guest in the drawers with our property manager and make sure that the cleaners do a better job of consistently checking all drawers. Regarding the grill propane tanks, we again apologize (both were filled recently) and will monitor this inventory more closely in the future and add a third tank. Finally, we understand your concerns regarding the trash disposal and will make sure it is mentioned more prominently in the listing disclosures prior to completion of any booking. This is a policy shared by most house rentals in Angel Fire due to the lack of trash pickup by the Village and shortage of cleaning staff in the region, but we will continue to look for ways to improve this arrangement. We include coffee as part of our standard welcome amenity; paper towels and trash bags should be stocked before every arrival, so it sounds like these items were mistakenly not provided during a busy time of year. Regarding snow removal, our policy is to promptly plow the driveway whenever there is a snowfall of four inches or greater. We have reviewed these issues in detail with our property management provider to make sure all of these policies are followed consistently for every guest. Additionally, we have taken steps to ensure that a full set of cleaning equipment is available for guest use in the laundry room, and a set of cleaning supplies is underneath the kitchen island sink.
