I rent at Windsor Hills Resort every year. Some of the houses need updates. This one's nice, has new/newer appliances and is close to the clubhouse. The house has a good starter kit for dishwasher, laundry, toilet paper, paper towel, coffee, tea, trash bag. you will have to buy extra for your stay. AC can be set as low as 70deg. some homes will only let you set as low as 72-74degs. which some find too warm.Resort is very safe and is kept very nice. Walmart within 1/2 mile , Target,Publix supermarket,Walgreens, CVS are nearby also.Disney entrance under 2 miles

Wonderful Vacation Get Away!

This was a perfect home for us and our grandchildren! The private pool was well maintained and a great asset along with the large community pool. We enjoyed the open space the home offered and the toys for the young children. The location to Disney parks was exceptional!

Great House!

We loved our stay in Windsor Hills! The house was very clean and had so many fun items included! It was so nice that there was an X-Box, life jackets and beach toys for the kids. The pool was so clean when we arrived. Management was very responsive to the one maintenance issue we had. I would highly recommend this house!

This place was great it was clean, all of the amenities, games, tvs, cable etc. Worked. Typically there's always something not working correctly at places we stayed but here everything worked, very nice property. Loved the pool and hot tub as well as going to the community pool that had waterside thst my kids loved. The gym was small but I would go really early to avoid the crowd. I would stay here again for sure. Not too far from disney and universal.

We have stayed in the Windsor Hills community 3 separate times and this home was the best of all. Our hosts were very helpful and responsive, the house wasclean and decorated nicely, especially the themed kids rooms. It is a short walk to the resort center as well. We would love to stay there again on our next trip to the area if it is available.

Overall Good Stay

This house has everything you could need, and if just one thing would have been different it would easily be an excellent review. We loved the beautifully articulated themes of the rooms, as well as the small toiletries such as dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, and soaps for the bathrooms and dishes. The game room was a blast and also a saving grace for us as well since the split unit can go down to 62. The biggest hurdle this house has to overcome is the AC. The thermostat is locked on a minimum of 70 degrees and with the vaulted ceilings, the house has a feels-like temp of 78+ pretty much at any given moment. As soon as we unlocked the door to the villa for the first time, we immediately dropped the temp to 70 and that's where it stayed all 8 days we were there, and not once was it enjoyable. Luckily, the house is furnished with small fans in each room so at one point we had one fan in my daughters room and 4 fans (one of which we brought from home) in the master bedroom where we still slept with a sheet. We woke up sweaty every morning and could not get it comfortable. It's unfortunate how such a small convenience can really halt your enjoyment of something, but we have rented the unit to the right of the one we rented this time and didn't have this issue. We've also stayed multiple times in Florida and understand the thermostat can't go too low, as other properties do the same thing, but we've never had it be this warm overall before. Other than the miserable AC, the house is amazing. And the game room split unit was a life saver, as we almost slept in there.

Excellent

While we found the property to be older than what we are used to, it was Impeccably clean and everything one could have imagined was supplied! The children's rooms were so appropriately and superbly decorated. The location was quiet, probably due to the late April date, but a welcomed perk. The only challenge was that, as an elderly, mobility challenged adult, I was unable to use the pool since there were no railings or ladder to assist with pool or hot tub entry. This was just unexpected. As an overview, the property was wonderful for a family vacation and our youngest grandchildren will remember this vacation for many years to come. Thank you for your attention to detail!! The Mooney Family
