House definitely served its purpose ( a place to recover from park days and cook meals) Comfortably slept 4 adults, 3 teens and 3 younger kids. Several heating elements on range were loose and would randomly stop heating. Several light switches are basically falling apart. Water smelled odd (not sure if that is just a FL thing).

Its The Only Place To Stay For Your Holiday

Immaculate house, amazing bedrooms. The kids love the themed bedroom and all the games provided by the owner. Pool and Spa is nice and hot, host is super accomodating - absolutely nothing to complain about!!

Great home

The home was nice and cozy my family really enjoyed it check in was smooth and the communication with the owner/manager was great she responded right away. My only suggestion would be to maybe add some sort of games to the garage area like board games or table hockey or add more wii games (every family can enjoy a wii game). Great stay

Property was as advertised. Accommodated our large family with 2 infants easily. Easy communication with property manager. Location was very convenient to Disney parks, however a fair amount of traffic congestion in the neighbourhood that made a 10 min Disney trip into a 30 min trip. Overall very pleased with our experience; highly recommend.

Great Family Vacation

We loved our stay. Very nice home, with plenty of room for everybody, and a great deal too! Very close to Disney World. Windsor Hills is an awesome community too. I would definitely stay here again next time we visit. The only thing I would say is don't count the two futons in the game room as extra beds. There is no AC in there and it was way too hot to sleep in. Luckily we figured out an alternative to where everyone was sleeping and we still had enough beds for our family. Amanda was great to work with too and helped me with any questions I had.

Great family place

Wonderful home. Nice and clean and comfortable. Kids loved the theme rooms and going to the splash pad and water slides. They are a bit far to walk for little kids, but there is enough parking if needed. The older kids loved having a pool right at the house. Looks very safe for little ones as well including available playpen, safety rails for beds, safety gate and pool alarm. Owner was quick to fix a couple of snags, but no show stoppers. They have a Nintendo Wii video game system (as if anyone has times for games on vacation!), but didn't seem to be any controllers.

Amazing location, home and stay.

Location is 5* Property and accommodation 5* Villa pool was excellent with good safety features. It was a little cold on certain days due to the time of year and the fact that the pool heating is only permitted in these communities between certain times rather than 24hr but Amanda was on top of that immediately to see if there was anything actually wrong other than the external ambient overnight temperature. We had a great time, you can certainly book with confidence. We never used the site facilities but they seemed excellent, it was a small shame that the site bar was more of shop rather than a real bar but this is a very minor point. Thanks for a great holiday. We will 100% be back.

Great family vacation

We stayed in Amanda's home for 14 nights and it was amazing. The home was so bright and clean and Amanda was so nice to deal with. If I had a question she would respond very promptly. There was a small issue with the pool heater. I reached out to Amanda and within minutes she was in touch with maintenance and had an appointment set up to repair it. She actually waived the pool heating fee for the full 2 weeks which was so generous of her. We have stayed at Windsor Hills several times and can't say enough about the resort. We will definitely stay in Amanda's home again next year if it is available.

Wonderful House - excellent location!

We were an extended family group of 9 travelling for 2+ weeks and we were looking for a spot where we could all have our own space if and when we needed. We found Amanda’s home in our search and are so glad we did. It is very much as pictured in the ad. Spacious and clean. Location is excellent, close proximity to the community pool. Check in was smooth and easy, and communication was always prompt with the owner. When we had issues with a few appliances, the management was quick to send someone to work on the issues. We also had an unexpected delay on our way home resulting in an additional 4 nights in Orlando. Amanda was super accommodating and we were able to stay at her house the added few days. Super grateful we didn’t have to move our group of 9 to a hotel! Very much recommend this vacation home. We will stay again!

This Villa was home from home. Lovely clean and well furnished, the kids loved the Toy Story room. It has everything you need, kitchen well equipped it had everything, kids plates cutlery etc. Waffle maker a great hit. Games room also with games for younger kids. Pool toys, plenty pool towels. Car seats saved us hiring them. Villa on beautiful resort so near Disney, restaurants etc. Playground was a big hit, main pools fab although a little chilly. After a snag first few days with heat in villa pool was really warm and kids loved it. ( only reason for not giving 5 stars) Amanda was great to deal with would highly recommend and would love to return.

Spring Break 2021

This was our 1st time renting a vacation home and we will definitely do it again. The home is spacious and has lots of sleeping options. The community is well kept and it was nice having access to the community pool/water park and the private pool at the home. Check-in was supposed to be at 4pm. We arrived at 3pm and they were still cleaning the home so we drove around for a bit. At 4pm, they were still cleaning. We couldn't access the home until 4:30. From 3:30pm to 4:30pm, the front door was left wide open, allowing bugs/lizards to enter. The cleaning people were screaming at each other upon our arrival, which made for an uncomfortable arrival. Once they left, the rest of our stay was very enjoyable. I will say that it would be nice if renters were provided with a starter amount of dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent, especially since we were requested to wash our towels before leaving. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this property.

Florida Getaway!

My wife and I spent two weeks at Amanda's with our daughter, her husband and children aged 6 months and 3 years, and a son with his 11 year old daughter. Needless to say, the eating and sleeping habits of the 6 month old sort of dictated our schedule, and we did spend the majority of our time at Amanda's house. So we greatly appreciated the heated pool immediately outside the kitchen door, we were in the pool every day, and the playgrounds and community pool at Windson Hills, only a few minutes walk away, were also very much enjoyed by the little ones. The games room in the garage wasenjoyed by all, and the younger ones enjoyed the Mickey and Minne themed bedroom. We also ate almost all our meals in the house, the kitchen was spacious and easy to work in, and the amenities made meal preparation easy. The non-stick cookware was somewhat tired, but everythingelse was great. We had a couple of minor weather related issues while there (a torn screen in the lanai after a windstorm) so we contacted the local property manager, and things were soon rectified. Groundskeeping, pool cleaning, garbage removal was well done, and unobtrusively. And it is a nice spacious house, in a well groomed and maintained neighborhood. Disneyworld is about 25 minutes away, easily accessed, and there is all sorts of groceries, restaurants and shopping 5-10 minutes from the house. In summary, a great place for a Canadian family vacation (specially with young ones) in warm FL during February!

Worst vacation ever

We wanted to give a rundown of one of the worst vacations ever. First off we were told that we would not have to worry, the house would be sanitized for COVID. Which we were both happy to hear, since it has been a great concern to all that were going on this trip. Here is what we found. Pool had food in it. There was a pill in the patio area. There was also food on the floor there as well. Chaise lounge chairs were rusting badly. So bad that one actually sat lower than the identical one next to it. Patio umbrella had green mold on it. We tested the pool for chlorine and the test strip said there was none. The pool guy came after we had been there already for four days. We had been in and out the jacuzzi, as well as the pool. There was poop on the shower curtain upstairs. A used q-tip on the floor next to the trash can. Hair on the wall of the shower. Toothpaste on mirror and sink. Master bedroom had plastic wrap on floor of shower stall. Also a dried contact on counter. Hair in bath tub. Many stains on carpet. One that looked like urine. The comforter had pink stains on it as well as the throw pillow which we didn’t see until the next morning. Dishes in cabinet were smudged and greasy. Spare comforter had a white stain on it which we didn’t see until after it was used. There was trash in the yard. Tall grass along pool wasn’t trimmed. Trash from previous tenants was still in trash bin. Many worn spots on furniture. Walls had patches, unpainted. We paid good money for this rental, and it certainly was not rental ready. We were given a list of how much towels, pillows etc... cost if they came up missing, consequently what we would be charged for each one if they came up missing. Does the same hold true for them? An obvious lack of cleaning which tells us that it certainly was not Covid cleaned, or even just cleaned. On the form that was there it said it was inspected. So it must not have been inspected at all, it was dated the same day we arrived. We did get a hold of the person who managed the house, they corrected as much as they could. They were very apologetic. We were told to leave the rental as we found it upon arrival, we couldn’t do that, so we left it better. I do hope that whoever reads this feels our dissatisfaction in our “vacation”. I would like to have a refund.

Hi Helen, Thank you for your reply. I am sorry that you have had a negative experience at our home. A lot of these problems that you have listed were not brought to my attention by yourselves prior to me reading them here. If you had reported them to me, then I would have been able to provide a better solution and service and taking everything in to account for when you checked out. Also I would have been more appreciative of a more truthful review - i.e the pool did have chlorine in it, the amount of chlorine was low however it was not lower that the level of acceptance. Pool guy came the day after you complaint about the pool and bought the self testing kit to test our pool. You note that the property inspection date was the same day as your arrival date -- yes, I can confirm that the property was inspected prior to your arrival (on the same day) as the team visited in the morning, however I have raised your comments directly with them and awaiting a meeting regarding your stay. Usually, I would offer a night refund as a good will gesture, however due to the unfair and from my understanding, untruthful review that you have given, I am afraid that I will have to deny you a full refund - which seemed like something you wanted from the moment you arrived at my home. One of the few homes on Windsor Hills with All day sun from morning to late evening and no trees to block out the sunlight. Private Lanai area with undercover dining table and chairs and large outdoor TV Very clean and spacious. Open Plan layout. Bedrooms upstairs and downstairs so great for two families.
