Great family retreat

The property was great.Three small issues, on my fault.1) I didn't realize it was a half bath on the main floor where we put the elderly parents.2) The half bath sink didn't drain very well.3) Had to call for propane for the fire pit the first day.

Stunning Views, Quiet, Nicely-appointed home

Gorgeous views to the ocean from this lovely home. While it's a short drive down to the beach, it worked well for our crew who, for the most part, enjoyed the lovely views more than time in the sand. We cooked our meals in the house and the kitchen is very well-appointed. Furnishings and decor create a comfortable place to rest and enjoy the view.

Fabulous Property

Breathtaking views of Proposal Rock and beach, stunning sunsets, beautiful and clean property with fantastic kitchen, bedrooms, living area and game room. We went in the Fall and were lucky to have some sunny warm days and also some fun storms. The property also features local art and was tastefully decorated. Thank you Meredith Properties, we'll be back in the summer or spring sometime :)

Perfect Place for Quiet Beach Getaway

Place was great. Super clean, very well stocked, good size space for 7, and overall one of the easier and more well appointed vacation rentals we've stayed at. Cooked for the group one night, and there wasn't a thing we needed that the house didn't have. View of the beach is spectacular and the access to Neskowin Beach could not be easier. Be sure to put it in low gear on the drive up. The turn up Hilltop Lane is steep!

Wonderful hideaway

A brief 2 day stay here was wonderful. Beautiful house with all amenities as stated. Ocean view of Proposal Rock about half mile away and a half mile walk or ride downhill. Enjoyed being above the beach with such lush scenery and wildlife. Listening to the ocean sounds from the balcony was so soothing. We will return.

Exceptional Experience

The 180-degree views of the Oregon Coast that you experience on all three levels of this property are exceptional. They immediately help you relax and transfer into vacation mode. The home is well-equipped with a great kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and everything you need during your stay. Communication with our host was proactive, quick, and helpful. We enjoyed the area, including the amazing beaches, the Neskowin Provisions store, and the Saturday morning farmer's market a the foot of the hill.

Beautiful home

Had an incredible time here! Amazing location, amazing views, fully stocked kitchen — amazing!!! We came here to celebrate king tides/mini Christmas party. The location and rooms are as described, if you come in the winter expect the home to be a bit chilly (specifically the main floor queen room attached to the patio, and downstairs king. However they had heaters to correct this!) Reasonable check out instructions. And very nice host that allowed us a late check out for a small fee!!! We will very likely be back.

Great views and lovely home

House was great. It is very hard to find. We initially thought we had been scammed. But, we persisted and went down several wrong driveways and roads but found it. Highly recommend. Gorgeous views. Kitchen very nice. The jacuzzi does not work but was fabulous in every other regard.

An amazing property

The house was in pristine condition, almost felt like we were the first ones to stay here! The views of the ocean and the forest are stunning and the beach is short (and steep) walk down the hill. The layout of the house worked really well for our party (2 couples). The main floor has the kitchen and entertainment spaces while the top and bottom floors have bedrooms, each with separate sitting areas. So, we could start our mornings on separate floors and then spend the rest of the day on the main floor during the day. This was a last minute trip, so our stay was short. Next time we will have to stay longer!

Lovely Home, View is Better in Person!

It's a really lovely property, we stayed for a weekend with a group of 9 friends and it was very comfortable, everyone loved it. Very practical for gathering, dining, visiting with each other. Property was clean and kitchen was appointed well enough. Table was *just* big enough for us to all squish around for a seated dinner. Only critiques are a need for more towel hooks (small thing but, with 9 people, an issue!) and no air conditioning—not an issue with the mild coastal weather, but it would be nice if the management company opened a window or turned on a fan before arrival, it was very stuffy when we got there.

No Water

We had a reservation at this property in Neskowin, OR from March 20-23, 2025. The property became uninhabitable on Friday, March 21, due to a water outage that lasted for the duration of our stay. Despite multiple attempts to contact the property management company, the issue was never properly addressed, and no meaningful resolution was provided.On Friday, March 21, at approximately 11:30 AM, the water supply to the property was completely lost. We left the property on March 22nd.This was a terrible experience.

Hi Brian. We are so sorry to hear about your disappointing rental experience. We reviewed the notes on your reservation and do see the city had shut off the water due to some broken pipes. Unfortunately, this was out of our hands, but we understand your frustration and verified a refund was issued on March 26th back to your credit card . Again, we regret that this was your rental experience and hope to provide you with a more seamless stay in the future.

Lovely views but quite far from the beach

This home is lovely, the 3 levels gave us plenty of room to spread out and relax for our family. The views are amazing and the bordering forest and only one neighbor within sight was wonderful.I don't feel that the "7 minute walk to the beach" or .4 miles gave an accurate depiction of walk. You basically walk down the very steep drive you took to get to the house. This is fine going down, but coming back up was very hard. Elderly and little kids would not be able to make this walk.We did go into the little town and have lunch and it was lovely. Once you get to the beach it is still a pretty long walk to get to the water. The beach wasn't crowded and it was great for dogs and people. You can drive, but parking is limited, and we stayed over Memorial Day weekend.The house had everything we needed. The lowest level was pretty chilly and we ended up hanging out on the main level most of the time. The TV on the main level really needs a new remote. My husband loved the arcade game!! The teenagers even built the Legos. The hot tub did not get above 100 degrees, it was more like a warm bath. We didn't bother reaching out to the property management as it just wasn't that important to us.10am checkout is tough when you have teenagers, just one more hour would have made checkout a little less hectic. If you just want to chill and enjoy some solitude and breathtaking views than this is a perfect place to do just that.
