Das Rewind on 11th befindet sich am begehrenswerten East Beach und ist das klassische Strandhaus, das Sie gesucht haben. Die beste Gegend am Strand von St. Simons ist so nah, dass Sie den Ozean hören können. Es sind vier Häuser vom Meer entfernt und Sie werden Sterne am East Beach sehen, von denen Sie nie gewusst haben, dass sie existieren. Genießen Sie die Nostalgie vergangener Tage, ohne auf Annehmlichkeiten in diesem Haus aus den 1940er Jahren verzichten zu müssen. Die neu gestaltete Küche des Küchenchefs ist geräumig und komplett mit hochwertigen Geräten zur Unterhaltung ausgestattet. Der Ess- / Versammlungsbereich umfasst einen neuen 50-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher. Kostenloses WLAN im Innenbereich und am Pool. Alle Schlafzimmer haben Fernseher. Die abgeschirmte Veranda mit Blick auf den umzäunten Garten bietet einen beheizten Pool, eine Feuerstelle, einen Gasgrill und eine Außendusche mit heißem und kaltem Wasser. Die Master-Suite im Erdgeschoss öffnet sich zum Pooldeck und die Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss haben einfachen Zugang zur überdachten Veranda mit Blick auf einen großen Vorgarten. Es gibt viel Platz im Freien und ein eigenes Shuffleboard. Alle Schlafzimmer verfügen über neue Betten und alle renovierten Badezimmer sind mit Steinböden und gefliesten Duschen ausgestattet. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The house was completely dog and kid friendly. The pool was so convenient and heated to an amazing temperature. The beach was also SO close and secluded. We loved it!!!

We have been coming to East Beach since the 80's. This house gives you the character of East Beach and is conveniently located near beach access. Our group was comfortable as the house has good space for us to gather (group of 9+baby).

Beautiful neighborhood and a cool older home. Kitchen is modern with a built in icemaker (very handy). Plenty of seating for everyone, beds were comfortable. The house has an old Florida vibe which I really liked. Emmons Realty made everything simple. Would definitely stay again.

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the home, the heated pool, the location, the space, and the overall comfort of the property. We also appreciate you pointing out the items that needed attention. The grill has since been replaced, so future guests will be able to enjoy cooking outdoors. The fire pit can be moved if needed, although we do ask guests to use caution and keep fires small and safe due to the surrounding trees. We also wanted to clarify that the beach equipment, including chairs and other items, is located in the garage house, along with the shuffleboard sticks. This information is included in the guest manual, but we understand it may have been easy to miss and will look for ways to make that more clear for future guests. We truly appreciate your recommendation and are happy you enjoyed your stay overall. We hope to welcome you back again.

We were staying at the property for the weekend. The deck furniture are in a bad shape and found dead bug on the deck. I have paid extra for the pool to be heated ($200) and it was a bit warm (my guests were not comfortable in the pool). Otherwise the house is ok.

The heated pool was a huge plus for our spring visit; it makes this a 3-season house instead of 1-season. It is close to the North end of Bruce Dr (good) and the beach access path is unique, lovely fern and tree canopy. One small issue was resolved quickly by property management, an excellent plus.

Our family of 12 had plenty of space. We loved the large bedrooms and kitchen. The location was very convenient to the beach. Wagons make the the little trip through the forest (beach access) easier.we had only visited East Beach before, but Gould’s Inlet was beautiful! The pool was a bonus, but actually made our stay even better. Overall a great experience and we would come back. The only thing missing was wood for the fire pit and gas for the grill-if those things aren’t included (we assumed), then may want to add to description to provide your own.

Wonderful house, great location! Kitchen needs a little help.

You can't beat the location of this house, only 2 blocks from the beach. So easy to walk to. And easy driving access to restaurants and shops. The house was wonderful! The yard with the pool area and the fire pit was so private and relaxing. The house had plenty of space for our family of 9 people. The beds are SO comfortable - we all slept great! The only complaint I have is they updated the kitchen with high end appliances but it is not a well stocked kitchen as far as utensils, pans, plates, glasses, etc. We struggled with finding basic things needed for cooking. And what they do have is very cheap, low end. But if they upgraded some of that, then they could call it a chef's kitchen but as it is now, it is simply not. Overall a wonderful house and we enjoyed our stay. St. Simon's is a fabulous beach town.

Family Vacation

Overall it was great. The pool & location was great. However, the bed linens need replacing & furniture looks very used. I’m glad I brought my own linens because the pillows and blankets were dirty. The kitchen was great but all the cookware was very random and leftoverish. There are no bread pans or good pots. The oven was ancient and awkward to operate but did the job. The freezer didn’t freeze, it was like a refrigerator. Ice maker for the counter was provided, enough for a couple people. The air conditioner upstairs didn’t keep upstairs cool enough. I would stay there again but would make sure freezer and HVAC are operating properly. You could tell it was end of season, lots of small maintenance needs and needed a deep cleaning. The washer and dryer were great to have because towels were limited too

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is old but can be rescued if they would spend the money to renovate it. The furniture is old , the doors don’t shut properly, the ac does not cool. We had to call the realty company just about every day to send someone over to work on the air conditioner. It kept freezing that was annoying along with being hot as heck, it ruined our stay. The vents are old and don’t blow much air. The entire upstairs was so hot! And all bedrooms were upstairs except one. needs new beds and furnishings. The futon room is awful, feels like your sleeping on bare springs. Outdoor furniture is worn out. The only nice things in the house were the fridge and dishwasher. We also saw several roaches big and small ones too, in the kitchen. The wine fridge was useless it didnt work either, but we just didn’t complain because Dealing with Ac was enough. Washer and dryer old. Nice yard and pool, which was the one good thing. We will not rent this home again. The realty company was attentive to our ac problem, but it just couldn’t be repaired during our stay, we were there for 5 hot days! once again the realty co did their best to get us comfortable, thankyou to them! And They gave us a small portion back due to the problems we had. I think they should have at least refunded half of what we paid, but my husband and I were just glad to get something back. Location was fine, close to beach. I would not recommend this property.

Great vacation home and neighborhood for us. We had 2 couples, a baby, and 3 singles in our family group. Plenty of room to spread out or hang together. The pool was warm enough without being heated and the beach was in walking distance. Kitchen was well supplies. We cooked several meals including burgers on the new grill. Management was superb. 6/26.

Enjoyed the house. It was accurately represented in the advertising & met expectations. Also, exceptionally clean/ maintained & great location to the beach. A couple of observations for improvement. The ads & pics don't show a 2nd cottage on the property in front of the house. That was a surprise & I'd think worthy of noting to customers. Also, we found the grounds to be a bit unkept..... leaves all over the back yard/ back deck & in the pool, high level of pollen and dust on all of the outdoor furniture, outdoor trashcans were overflowing at our arrival & stayed overflowing throughout the visit. Overall, we enjoyed the property.

This was our first visit to the Golden Isles of Georgia after living in Georgia for almost 30 years. We will definitley be back and this house will be tops on our list! The house is ideally located in East Beach: very close to beach access, roomy spaces in a vintage house with wonderful modern updates, and a very enjoyable outdoor space on the property with a pool. We would highly recommend "Retreat Home" on 2032 Bruce Dr. and booking with Emmons Realty. We will be sure to do it again!
