The Lazy Dog Lodge
Sie werden unsere Lodge mögen, weil es so nah an einem Skigebiet ist, und ein Mountainbike-Park mit Skilift Dienstleistungen während der Sommermonate.
Es basiert auf dem Angel Fire Country Club Hotel entfernt.
Wir haben Seen, Wanderwege und eine reiche Tierwelt.
Sie werden die Lodge lieben, weil es die Quintessenz der Blockhaus mit allem Komfort von zu Hause ist. Die Innen Protokolle und Balken sind außergewöhnlich. Dieses 2570sf Haus hat einen offenen Grundriss, der an einem Fluss Rock Kamin konzentriert. Außerhalb dachten Decks sind bemerkenswert für Ihre Familie und Freunde unter den flackernden Espen und reifen Evergreen unterhaltsam. Sommerzeit bietet eine schwung von Wildblumen. Im Winter alle Insignien eines Skigebiet. Unsere Lodge ist gut für Paare, Familien (mit Kindern), große Gruppen und pelzigen Freunde (Hunde).

This home is absolutely wonderful!! Everything you need! It is very well stocked! Lots of room and very clean!!! We used the fire pit, grill and smoker every night. Host was amazing. They even checked in to make sure we made it and didn’t have any questions. We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely stay again in the future!

Winter Wonderland Thanksgiving! Enjoyed our 3 night stay at the cozy cabin! Very well stocked kitchen helped us prepare our Thanksgiving Day Feast! Plenty of beds, although, from the pics you cannot tell that the two bunk bed rooms share one entrance so not as much privacy as we thought we would have- great for kids though! Overall this was an awesome property with plenty of room for our dogs to stretch their legs. Would highly recommend this property to others!

Great Stay in Angel Fire

We had a great stay at the Lazy Dog Lodge. The home had everything that we could ask for and more. It was in close proximity to Angel Fire and a very nice drive to Sipapu and Taos. We got lucky with a big snow before and after we left so no issues driving for us. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay and bring our 4 legged family members too!

Property was fantastic and lodge was incredible. The lodge had more accommodation items than ANY other VRBO we've ever been at, to include any quality appliance you could think of. Communication with host was on point as we had multiple requests due to heavy snow during our stay. Would HIGHLY recommend this property for your future stay!

Great family get away

The cabin was so homey and well equipped with everything we needed. My husband loved cooking on the black stone grill on the deck. My almost 80 year old parents stayed in the 1 upstairs main level bedroom. All other bedrooms are in the downstairs basement style floor. Be sure to bring soaps, shampoos. It was the perfect Christmas get away for our family and the hosts were very helpful.

Fabulous Cabin

The Lazy Dog Lodge was everything I'd hoped it would be for our family vacation with our kids and grands. The home is beautiful, cozy and well stocked anything you'd possibly need to prepare a meal (other than the actual food). We loved that there was an app that kept all needed info about the home at our finger tips. The home and surrounding area was very clean and well organized. The little ones loved all of the movies, toys, and games that were available to them downstairs. There was more than enough space for our party of 8 to be comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the fire pit for afternoon coffee. The hosts were always available to answer my questions and were very kind. This place has such a great vibe and I'd love to stay here again sometime. Lazy Dog Lodge is a 10 out of 10 in my book!

Exceeded our expectations

This home was fantastic and in a great location. Very close to town and only a mile or so from the lake where we had taken the kids paddle boating and jumping on a trampoline. We had two families of four plus my parents and I was a bit concerned about the space, however there was plenty of room for everyone with a great lay out. The beds were very comfortable as well. We drove 10 hours to get to angel fire and lugged kids toys with us no need! This house was well equipped for kids it had legos, games, kid movies, waffle maker etc. We will definitely be making a trip back!!

Great Winter Getaway

Our family of six adults, one baby, and three small dogs had a wonderful time in this cozy cabin in the woods. They didn't spare one detail in the planning of this rental. EVERYTHING you could possibly need is there. We had plenty of room, beautiful views all the way around, and it was warm and toasty as we watched over 3 feet of snow fall in two days. Russ was great about checking in with us to see if we needed anything, and was prompt in getting the snow plowed so we could use the driveway. The location was close to the ski area, which was perfect so we could come back at lunch to eat in between morning and afternoon skiing. We had a lot of fun and would definitely stay here again!

Large family ski trip

THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS PLACE JUSTICE. This home is large, beautiful and has just about everything you could possibly need. We had 2 familles (all 12 were over 20yrs old) and never felt crowded. Large table was perfect for game night. The blackstone for perfect for grilling for our large group. This house was easy to get to and had no trouble with snow and ice. Rental car was AWD but the other car was front wheel and did just fine. Russell was easy to contact when needed but honestly, everything was pretty easy per his instructions. The only thing that was slightly a pain was the trash situation. With 12 adults we acquired a lot of trash and you have to take it in town to a recycling area. I would absolutely stay here again. The house has been renovated and some of the pictures don't reflect that. GORGEOUS HOME!

Thanksgiving 2017 at the Lazy Dog Lodge

We have been traveling to Angel Fire for several years and love it there. We stayed at the same cabin each time. This year the owners decided to sell so we had to find a new cabin. Lazy Dog did not disappoint! Overall, the cabin is neat and clean (two things to note for the cleaning team are shared below) with plenty of room for up to 12 people (we had 7). We enjoyed using the gas fireplace daily. The kitchen is well stocked. I was able to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner with ease. Plenty of quality storage containers for leftovers! Nice dishes, cutlery and glasses for a pretty Thanksgiving table. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were fresh and clean. The wrap around porch and all of the seating areas are wonderful! They have a teepee that has been built for the littles to play in out back. Inside and out, this is a lovely cabin that is quiet and peaceful. We hike everyday. I also walked to the lake each morning (about 1.4 miles one way). A beautiful walk and my favorite way to start each day. Our son, daughter in law and the littles used the bedrooms downstairs. The only reason I did not provide a 5 star rating was for the fact our son and daughter in law noticed spots in the carpet where prior renters didn't clean up after their pets accidents. My husband shared this with Russell as soon as we noticed and Russell was quick to respond. The downstairs furniture was very dusty. These are things that can be corrected if shared with the owners. Russell and Pam have a lovely cabin and it is clear they have pride of ownership and value the property. It might be helpful to be able to rate the cleaning team that comes in after stays. The two things I pointed out here are on them, not the owners. Russell asked that we text when we arrived. He responded quickly to our communication throughout our stay. We have spoken to our cleaning crew and they will be cleaning the carpet along with being more diligent with dusty and making sure that future guest clean up if their pets have an accident.

Fantastic home

This property is truly gorgeous! Everything about its design and amenities were set up to be an ideal relaxation spot. We had family meet us and all ages in our group found the house perfectly met their needs. By far the porch was our favorite place to melt away ours together. Russell and his wife were the perfect hosts and very responsive to any needs or questions. This has been my favorite home thus far I have stayed at. Truly felt like home.

My wife and I love the outdoors. We spend a lot of our time walking our dogs, that is one of the great things about Angel Fire, there are many hiking trails throughout the area and they are always well maintained.
I was born in New Zealand and Lived in Australia for a lot of years. Pam my wife was born Louisville Kentucky and she relocated to California and Then to Australia. Pam has been teaching and I have been working at an Ice rink. Pam and I have both retired and we live in the property unless it is rented out.
Pam and I ride mountain bikes, run,play Pickleball, snowshoe, cross country ski and we love hiking with our dogs.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We traveled to Angel Fire in may 2016 looking for a mountain home with a mild summer, as Pam cannot handle hot days. We arrived at the end of the snow season and the town looked very bare but we found this beautiful log home with 1.25 acres of land with numerous trees around the home. We both fell in love with the home and now we have to wait until we retire in a couple of years to fully enjoy it. I think the main reason though is that it is the closest mountain town to where our daughter lives.

The reason we fell in love with this home was the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful log home.The home was not dark inside as the previous owner had put in skylights in the kitchen/lounge area. The main living area was very open and the covered decks with propane fire pit, BBQ and lots of comfortable chairs was a definite draw card. We also loved the area for all it has to offer ie skiing, mountain biking, fishing, hiking a small lake 1.5 miles away and a larger lake within 10 miles, so all in all what is there not to love about this area.
