Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No complaints. We booked this location for the deck view and proximity to central Friday Harbor. Our room was smaller than we expected but I don’t have regrets as the deck and location were our primary factors. The room was nice and clean so it was as it was described and depicted from the photos. Just so folks know, the private deck is only separated by a flower planter that’s maybe 3 feet tall so when you’re neighbor has their patio door open or are on their deck you are less than 6 feet from them - so expect no privacy. This may not be a problem for some folks so use this information s as you see fit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wish we could have stayed longer at the Cannery Inn! The room was clean and comfortable with great views. The Cannery Inn is located close to the main street which provided for walking to restaurants and shopping. One suggestion for improvement would be to have glass or ceramic coffee cups in the rooms, not paper cups for your coffee. I would happily recommend this property of a friend and would happily come back again.

We stayed for two days in August and found this property conveniently located and with all the amenities we needed. Access was easy and the management team responsive. Everything was so clean - loved it!

Great view, great location, comfy bed, easy coordination with host, and very clean accommodation. Only drawback: Walls are very thin and you can hear every word or snore or sneeze from the unit next door.

Island getaway close to everyrhing

Location of property was great! Views amazing and walkable to everything you could need. Parking wasn't hard, even without designated spot. Walls of rooms are very thin, but property did have earplugs if youre a light sleeper.

Beautiful view of Friday Harbour!

Very nice 3 night stay here. Conviently close to Friday Harbour. Walked into town to do everything but tour the island. A little small if you are a larger build but quaint, clean, and convenient. Parking was easy as well.

I Recommend this to anyone

My sister lives on the island and said this was an abandoned building. They did a great job restoring it. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. The deck had a tremendous view over looking the harbor. It was close to down town and I recommend VIC's for breakfast (only open M-F).

Short Friday Harbor Getaway

We stayed 2 nights (Wed/Thurs) in mid-July. Wonderful, clean, quiet room with an unbeatable view of Friday Harbor. Nice private balcony. Only suggestions would be to install some room darkening roman shades on the balcony doors (room was WAY too bright for us early in the morning!) and provide some larger/plusher bath towels. Nit-picky stuff...we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Excellent for the price.

Super Clean! Great Location

Everything was great except super thin walls. Can hear everything if you know what I mean. No sleep and very annoying. If your neighbors are respectful I’d imagine it would be great.

We are taking measures to decrease the noise transfer between the rooms including additional, thicker pieces of art, additional rugs, and door sweeps. Ear plugs are also provided in each room. Overall a great place to stay. There needs to be better insulation for the noise. We could hear a muffled conversation from the next door room. We also were hoping for a later check out 10am is early. We travel all over the world this was our first stay that had such an early check out. Other than that we completely recommend it!

I brought my own “coffee” filled tea bags that I travel with occasionally. My favorite part was the balcony overlooking the marina and the communal patio with marina view as well. I don’t think another place has such a great view for coffee in the morning!

Easy to get to, I recommend using the sidewalks and not the stairs.The room is all updated but no air conditioner. Not really needed on the island however, we like to sleep cold. Would have appreciated a screen across the balcony doors when we left them open at night. It is very quiet on the island after 9pm but the Inn has thin walls. So, ladies if you are a screamer, and you know what I mean 😉, be mindful of your neighbors or don't rent here!

Comfy nook with excellent view & location

We stayed 3 nights. This is a house divided into 4 units. The first night, people were in 2 of the other units. It sounded like our neighbors were talking to us— and they used regular voice volume. Fortunately, the owner had a noise machine & ear plugs which really helped. The othe 2 nights we had the place to ourselves. Other than the risk of noise, this is a stunning choice. Incredible view; great restaurants within 1 block; kayaking & whale watching trips from the marina at the bottom of the stairs. One other thing— it is about the size of a nice hotel room. One room & bathroom with entry hall. The outside areas (private deck & large shared deck) give more space but it could feel small if you’re stuck there during rainy weather.
