Die Farm ist eine geräumige 2-Zimmer-Suite im Erdgeschoss des Acanthus-Gebäudes. Diese Suite verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett in jedem Schlafzimmer, ein Bad, einen Sammelbereich und eine Küchenzeile. Viele genießen ihren Morgenkaffee oder ein Getränk am Nachmittag von der gemeinschaftlichen Veranda. Smart TV und Internet sind ebenso vorhanden wie elektrische Kamine.

Einige oder alle Acanthus Suiten können für verschiedene Gruppengrößen gemietet werden!

Acanthus Suites ist eines der ersten historischen Häuser in Friday Harbor. Erbaut im Jahr 1913, es war ein Hochzeitsgeschenk für eine wohlhabende Kaufleute Tochter. Es wurde sehr schön restauriert. Im historischen Zentrum von Friday Harbor entfernt; nur 3 Blocks von der Anlegestelle der Fähre und Hafen von Friday Harbor.

Highly recommend!

Home was walking distance to town, guest parking was safe and easy, decor was historic and delightful, clean and comfortable accommodations. Great stay!

Wonderful spot in Friday Harbor

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, based on both the house and its excellent location and walking access to so much of Friday Harbor. The space has historic interest, and is also well-organized, clean and with all the amenities. We would definitely stay again.

Great location. Kitchenette is tiny.

Rooms are nice and comfortable. One room needed black out curtains to block out the light. The kitchenette is really not for preparing any food, too tiny. Location is great, easy to walk to town.

Cute little place!

The rooms and beds were comfortable. Nice big bathroom. There aren't any microwave dishes, just plates, bowls, etc. Apparently there's a toaster available on request. The only place that info is listed is on one of the photos. Unfortunately, we didn't find that until the day we were leaving. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

Great Location

Blocks from the ferry, close to restaurants and coffee shops. The room was a bit too cold even with heaters but it did have enough blankets to keep us warm. Internet was a bit slow but it’s possible it was due to the high winds (early March).

Nice 2 Bedroom Unit

Bedrooms were nice. Front room was a little quirky and tight. Banquet was not that comfortable. TV was size off a computer monitor! Kitchenet was lacking a toaster/toaster oven and counter space. Location was great, close to downtown Friday Harbor. I would still come back to this location.

Reviewer Comments: Honestly great location, but furniture was stylish but no comfortable, I distinctly remember signing up to pay less than I did for this site, and honestly I would not stay here again for the cost. I will look into staying at a local hotel for about $20-50 a night less.

Acanthus Farmer Suite, great location for your trip

The Acanthus Farmer suite is well set up with two bedrooms, a small kitchenette, and general room. The weather was warm while we were there, so we appreciated the fans in the unit. We did have some issues keeping the windows open for the fans to pull air, but managed to work around it. The beds were quite comfortable. The Acanthus Suites are in an excellent location. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and sights in Friday Harbor easily. The car was only used when we left Friday Harbor. The big front porch on the Acanthus Suites, was a big hit in the mornings and evenings.

Everything was as described in the listing. My only question would be why the small gathering room is not set up better to accommodate guests more comfortably. A small couch and a chair with the TV on the other side would have been much better in the evenings. But all in all we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We immediately were thrilled with the location and were able to walk to do many places each day. The house is the definition of charming - beautifully decorated, clean and included anything we need and more. The only suggestion I would have if asked is that lighting could be added along front walk and to parking area. I personally am currently a fall-risk due to eye surgeries, but I still feel lighting would add to the charm as well.

Minimal Kitchen, don’t plan on cooking

If you just need a place to sleep in a downtown location this is your place. Location is great and walkable to harbor and town. But a big disappointment in the kitchen having only a microwave & mini fridge, not even a toaster or containers to facilitate microwave cooking. For 4 people there’s no gathering area to relax or watch tv together, nor do the bedrooms have any tvs. The bathroom door doesn’t lock or even latch solidly, so uncomfortable wondering if my in-laws might walk in on me. We were excited to stay in a historic home, but the furnishings and decor didn’t make sense, completely missing an opportunity for a period home.

You can hear everything. Sitting room is not comfortable for relaxing after a long day. When we arrived the bathroom had not been cleaned and the toilet not flushed. A little disappointing.
